• Renate (10/5): - Tolle Gastgeber, sehr angenehme, sehr geschmackvoll gestaltete Wohnung, Lage im Zentrum mit bester Infrastruktur rundherum, sehr zu empfehlen.....aber, man sollte besser fit sein! Das Bett ist super bequem, habe herrlich geschlafen! Einzig die vielen schmalen Stiegen und die Enge sind eine Herausforderung, wenn man, wie ich, einen grossen, schweren Koffer schleppen muss 4 Stockwerke hoch und herunter
• Elke (9/5): Voor herhaling vatbaar - De locatie was super! Alles is op loopafstand. De host reageert heel snel en is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is een heel ruim appartement met alles er op en er aan. Heel leuk ingericht en een super fijn bed. Daarnaast een groot pluspunt: je kunt je bagage opbergen voor of na in/uitchectijd. En mocht je lang blijven kun je zelfs gebruik maken van een wasmachine.

• Michael (9/5): A great 3 night stay in a city that's well worth a visit - It was comfortable, very well furnished and equipped and surprisingly quiet for a city centre location. The property is a 20 minute walk from the central station, a 20 minute walk from 2 great museums, the dockland MAS and the Fine Arts museum. In the surrounding streets are a whole world of restaurants and bars-including a nice Georgian restaurant. Communications with the hostess, Linda, were very quick and easy. In short, We're looking forward to another visit The narrow steps up to the third floor were slightly difficult to mange with luggage. It would have been nice to have had some milk in the fridge on arrival, but these are very minor gripes

• Jennifer (10/5): An outstanding-quality and safe place to stay in a great location, perfect for solo travellers - Excellent location: close to historic centre, metro/tram, and supermarkets, but generally quiet street. Secure with front door code and key for flat door. Very comfy bed, bedroom has good full-length curtains to block out the light, spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, nice and spacious toilet/shower room with lovely hot shower. Nice decor touches and lighting to make it cosy. Hosts provided lots of leaflets/guides for tourist attractions and local info. I appreciated the free Wifi to help me plan my stay. 3 flights of steep stairs ;-) only a problem if you struggle with stairs though. I would have appreciated an oven-proof dish as the property has an oven, but this is just a tiny suggested improvement. Flat was excellent otherwise
• Stefano (10/5): Excellent - Great location in the heart of Antwerp, a few metres away from the Cathedral. The apartment was very cozy, clean and safe. Host was accommodating and response timely on messages. I will definitely recommend it. The automatic messages from the host were in Dutch language, however, we were told that it was our setting that is in Dutch but this was not the case.

• Sean (10/5): Exceptional - Super! Well located and clean. Comfortable bed. Sheets in particular were lovely. Well decorated. Good kitchen. Would stay here again and recommend it.
• Michele (8/5): Comfortable and well-located apartment in the Old City - The apartment was very well-located, a couple of minutes walk to all the attractions of the Old City, including the Cathedral and a ton of restaurants. It is about one block away from the Groenplaats. I was attending a conference at the Hilton Hotel every day for a week, and it was a 3-minute walk from there--very convenient (and much cheaper than staying at the hotel!). The apartment is very comfortable and has almost everything you need. The bed is super comfortable, the temperature is easily controlled, and the shower works great. The kitchen is well-equipped with a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave, and a dishwasher, though i could never figure out how to operate the dishwasher. There is a nice TV, though I didn't use it. Everything is clean and functional. There is a washing machine on a different level of the building, but I didn't have occasion to use it. I never met the host, but she was very responsive and helpful when a hair dryer malfunctioned, and she immediately sent another one to the apartment. She also let me start using the apartment early after an early morning international flight, which was incredibly helpful. There is a lockbox with a key to get into the apartment, and a code on the front door. The pictures online are very accurate. I didn't note anything about this in the description, but be aware that the apartment is on the 4th floor (using US description) of the building, which has no elevator and very steep and narrow stairs. It was very difficult getting big luggage up and down those stairs, so if you have mobility issues, you don't want to try this. Even walking up and down the stairs could be a challenge without luggage. The building itself is completely nondescript and has no lobby or real entryway. It also smells very musty on the lower floors, but that may be common in Antwerp, since I heard people say that was true in other buildings, too. (There were no smells at all in the apartment--once you are in the apartment, it is lovely). It would have been helpful to have soap for the shower. Bring your own. A few more hangers would also have been useful.
