Guest Reviews
- Russo (10/5): Vista bellissima - Camera molto bella e fornita dei comfort necessari Che non si poteva chiedere la doccia
- Jana (8/5): -
- Vicki Roper (7/5): - Central and close to food and buses. Room had no aircon, asked about it. Was given another room very quickly, but no hot water for showers. The decor was odd, there were mirrors on the ceiling. However it was alternate room so may have been still being updated.

- Youssef (10/5): Everything arranged beautifully - Everything arranged beautifully
- Kusev (10/5): Everything very beautiful - room with a view of the celebrations in the port area
- Magda (1/5): Bad - close to the metro I DO NOT RECOMMEND. SCAMMERS! The room looks completely different than in the photos. The hotel charges a 200e deposit for any damage, although the room looks already damaged - the curtains are torn (they couldn't be moved), the bathroom is not very clean, mold by the window and in the shower tray, the shower head is broken, the door lock is broken, a hole (!) in the floor. The service is rude. We paid a 200e deposit by credit card and after 14 business days we expected a refund. Unfortunately, despite repeated contact with the hotel and Booking, we did not receive it. We received the refund after 35 business days! After threatening to go to court! The hotel lied that the deposit had already been returned, when it had not. NEVER AGAIN! The worst experience in 6 years of using Booking.
Separate assessment of the behavior of Booking, which, despite declaring help, did nothing to actually help in getting the deposit back. Booking asked us many times to send a card statement and confirmation of the deposit; however, Booking was satisfied with some piece of paper from hotel's system (that the deposit was paid 5 days after the end of our stay, which was a LIE). After many conversations and email exchanges, Booking stated that since we paid the deposit directly to the hotel, there was nothing they could do. Namely, they can and should CANCEL THIS HOTEL'S OFFER!
- Maria (7/5): Good -
- Barbara (1/5): Bad - They requested ahead of time 200 euros deposit for one night, and I haven’t received any payment They requested a deposit
1) Bring the payment card you will need to pay the city taxes, the 200€ deposit, required by the booking conditions, any extras (remember the deposit will be refunded after 15 business days if paid by credit card, and after 30 business days if paid by debit card).
I try to get my deposit refunded but it wasn’t successful
- Johnm1993 (1/5): Awful - I paid for a queen room with spa bath. There was no spa bath, there wasn’t even a regular bath. On arrival we were charged 200€ deposit that will aparently not come back into our account for another month. The WiFi did not work and there was no channels on the tv.
- Wenhe (8/5): Deposit not returned as promised - the place charged us 200 euro as depisit in case if damage and promised to return the 200 euro two weeks after the stay. We left the place intact on November 6, and we still have not seen the return of the deposit.
- Gilbert (1/5): Bad -
- Serrano (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable and clean, after entering from the chaos of the street, the interior surprises you Check in is in a different place than the room, which is a drawback. The neighborhood is not the best at first impression, but I think it is part of the mess of Naples.
- Panagiotis (3/5): Underwhelming - The view was nice There was a security deposit of 200€, that wasn’t communicated before the booking was made and was only visible in the confirmation email. Other than that you have to wait 30 working (!) days to get it back and you have to claim and chase them to do it. The apartment had clearly seen better days and the cleaning overall was below average.
- Kerolos (1/5): Bad -
- Francesco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Svi16ka (1/5): Bad -
- Chenli (1/5): be careful - nothing Very bad. This is an accommodation in a residential building, the surrounding environment is dirty and bad. If you go at 9pm, you will find that there are no prompts and signs, and the phone will never be answered. I had to book another hotel. I saw a lot of rats...... below the residents
- Kajee (3/5): Decent - Close by They took a 200 euro deposit and I am still waiting for it after 32 working days , I was told I would receive it after 14 days
- Peter (10/5): brilliant stay and close enough to the city center to walk to. - the Jacuzzi bath with a view of the old buildings was really nice.
- Debbie (1/5): BEWARE - BEWARE BEWARE, they take a 200 euro efundable deposit on arrival which after 2 months my credit card company is still trying to recover - mine is not a isolated case! Do not use these people, why booking . Com continues to promote them is beyond me
- Salvatore (7/5): Good -
- Colm (1/5): Worst I’ve ever stayed in, do not stay here - Nothing worst I’ve ever stayed un They stole from me
- Gaby (8/5): Very good -
- Giada (5/5): Passable - that the city was near us There was no reception, to many codes to go in
- Mia (4/5): Not happy with the room. - The location was ok. The house was rough. The bath and fridge did not function properly. It is not as nice as the pictures show.
- Matt (8/5): Very good -
- Hamid (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and neat suite, No internet for checking in for travelers who have no internet data and need WiFi to check in online cause there is no reception
- Ann (5/5): All as above - Room clean and neighbourhood No tea making facilities
Staff ignorant
- Alan (5/5): Passable - The jacuzzi hot tub We booked the room double price for the hottub but it was not great, the jets are nearly working and not powerful at all, just makes some bubbles but definitely not a jacuzzi
- Elisa (1/5): Bad - Não gostei de nada.. I didn't like having to check in at a location and the room was super far away.
When I got there I had to leave my suitcase there and I paid 4 euros for it.
The worst part was the insurance fee of 200 euros to receive who knows when, if ever.
I asked for one more night and paid directly with them, you need a code to enter the building and another to enter the room, the day I got the extra the code changed and no one told me, I stayed out of the room during the night and no one He replied to me on WhatsApp, my cell phone battery was running out and after a while they sent me the new code, after I had to humiliate myself in the pizzeria asking them for help.
Worst place I've stayed in my life, don't stay there, it will just be total stress.
- Kid (1/5): It was terrible close it down - This property was a huge scam trying to take every last penny from me .The room was nothing like the picture it was dirty as Duck and it was like a very small studio dont go to this property and dont even think spending money on a place like this it was terrible
- Kiara (1/5): Wouldn’t stay again - The location Check in was difficult staff were unhelpful. Loud music played by other guests in the hotel. Lots of people lurking by the hotel entrance at night made us feel unsafe. Hotel room directly above garbage bins so the room smelt of trash. Aircon does not work. Beds uncomfortable.
- Carmen (9/5): Excellent Customer service - Excellent customer service. I had to call the reception 3 times for help and the person there was really polite, helpful and kind. They asked several times about the "check in info email", but I didn't receive any, so they explained everything by phone.
The room was really nice and bright. I received the email with the info on how to check in, one day after my check out.
- Anagno (1/5): Bad - There was no way to enter the building in the nights even with the codes they gave us , we had to stay in another hotel. The residents of the building never opened us and told us they were bored of the ringings from the travellers at night. There was a deposit of 200€ that would be returned in a month and when we tried to talk with the customer service in the night they were nowhere to be found and after that they were totally rude.
- Javier (1/5): Horrible service, deposit of 200€ we did two reservations so 400€ deposit they gave it back 30days after - Nothing Nothing
- Javier (1/5): Not recomendable at all! - Nothing Nothing
- Moradi (3/5): They had behaving outside the rules, - Nothing Their behavior
- Nikolas (7/5): Good -
- Paul (1/5): Bad - Truly nothing. 1) Check-in was a nightmare where registration was tediously manual with lady receptionist very rude continually reprimanding me that i should have read their instructions on their website before turning up.
2) I was charged €10 to be accompanied to my room.
3) I was denied the standard bottle of drinking water in my room.
4) My bathroom sink was clogged.
5) Horrible bed and bedding.
6) I was charged €200 "cautionary fee" on my credit card to be refunded not at checkout but after 14 business days! That is truly grotesque, a cheat, very unethical: real thievery ! When i complained she replied i should have read their instructions before turning up !!
- Dmytro (5/5): Passable -
- Johnnygalway (7/5): Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of clean towels - There was no breakfast provided.
Couldnt see the wifi pw Location felt unsafe
- Rosalyn (2/5): The location of this property did not provide rest for us on our vacation. - The cleaning lady Are you looking for Naples lodging where you’re right in the middle of sounds from barking dogs, horns beeping, people talking and laughing all day and night, building mates sounding like they’re playing with marbles all morning, victims of homelessness, dog poo on every piece of street that you step on, and an unidentifiable HUGE brown bug welcoming you into your room? Well this is the location for you. There is no soundproofing to keep noisy elements out of your supposedly restful temporary residence. The name says Bed & Breakfast but you will not receive breakfast. After getting dropped off in the middle of an environment that I wasn’t 100% comfortable in, safety was an issue, breakfast would have made the impact less harsh. In the common area, there is a sign that clearly states that breakfast is served from 7am-10am. I contacted the management and they said there is no breakfast. What’s more is, there is no microwave, safe, or minibar and the refrigerator did not get cold enough to chill water. Oh, and if you decide to stay at this location, have a couple of dimes (euro) to access the elevator to carry you and your luggage up to your “accommodation”. I give this place a 2/10 because the housekeeper was polite and even though she did not speak English, she used the translator on her phone to communicate with us. In case you’re wondering, we could not cancel and there was no refund. Therefore we were stuck like lab rats in a maze full of uncertainty day in and day out.
- Nazari (7/5): Good - It was bed and breakfast but without breakfast:))
- Luke (1/5): Ripped off - The place isn’t a hotel they wanted us to walk 15 minutes through the ghetto to check in with all our luggage possibly getting robbed. Then climb 15 flights of stairs because they don’t have elevator's. We got the hell out of there and went to Rome. Booking.com is a joke and will eventually go defunct. No one refunded me but they probably need the money that’s why they are running this scam. I wont be back to napoli or use booking.com ever again. - Emma (5/5): Passable -
- Jenna3008 (3/5): Not great, could work for some - modern looking room, big windows and air con check in is a 15 minute walk away and this was not clear when I initially booked, only on receiving the email the day before to check in). You MUST take all passports and cash with you for city tax, I did not as was just trying to work out what was going on as we couldn't find the entrance to the b&b (it's listed as al 31 Napoli on Google maps for future reference!) and had to walk back to where my mother was waiting (15 minutes) and then another round trip walk to sort everything out. Can't say the staff at the centralised reception desk were particularly empathetic at all but they clearly deal with the same complaints day in, day out. I have noticed the info provided on booking.com now does mention in the hotel title check in is elsewhere but do not underplay how much of an impact this will make on the start of your stay. In addition, a £200 hold is put on your card for damages to the room. When we finally got checked in and walked back we got to the room and was initially happy. However, there are no additional amenities with this room at all! No soap to wash your hands, no shampoo/shower gel, no cups. Towels are provided but not changed. When you use the shower the entire floor becomes wet and slippery and the tiling needs re-doing. None of this would be a problem if this was advertised as 'room only' but the hotel is advertised as b&b of which there is actually no breakfast option (despite it being on the information board in the communal sofa area - my booking does say meal plan not included which is fine, however just want to make it clear that if advertised as b&b an option should be easily accessible). Check out is at 10am (you just leave your keys in a basket by the door as you walk in) but if you want to leave your bags you'll need to walk back to the reception (15 minutes) with your luggage and pay a fee. The bed squeaks every time you move and the pillows are super flat.
- Filip (4/5): Not good - Not clean. Dangerous neighbourhood. You need to go 1km on the other side to pick up the keys.
- Kyle (2/5): Not a value for money and wish we would have stayed elsewhere. - Room layout and lighting Staff at the reception had bad attitude and were not helpful at all, very poor wifi connection, no change in towels after 4 nights (they were changed on our last night), location was not properly advertised, not suitable for people traveling with a lot of luggage or pushchairs, unsafe lift
- Nino (9/5): Superb - If you are traveling from or arriving to port of Napoli, the location is fantastic, walking distance from both ports even with luggage.
The shuttle service is also worth the value and would totally recommend it
The view from the room was beautiful The only inconvenience is that you have to check in other location and then go to the accommodation, which is a bit inconvenient if you’re with luggage
- Guesthouse (1/5): Disaster - The location We were locked inside the room for 3 hours as the lock didn’t work so missed a whole evening of our city stay. The answer from the hotel was that we just had to wait for somebody to sort.
Even after the 3 hours it wasn’t sorted so had to move
- Monica (5/5): EXTREMELY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! The attitude of the staff can be improved so the communication in general! When we - The location is okish and it is clean! The attitude of the staff can be improved so the communication in general!
When we tried to book the shuttle from airport there was no answer! There was a poor communication, on the WhatsApp number they gave. They were reading the messages but not answering and the phone number to call they were not picking it up or if eventually they were picking it up, they were closing it down immediately without saying anything!
It was a lot of inflexibility and we could not even bring our luggages before the check in!
It caused us a lot of stress!!! Not mentioning that we lost the entire day because the check in was from 3 PM… by the time we reached out accommodation was already 5 PM because after 3 pm was a queue…
Regarding the 200€ guarantee it is still blocked after 2 weeks!
The attitude of the lady at the checkin was very rude and dismissive! I have never experienced such a rude and impolite attitude!!! She was speaking English very well and when she did not want to continue the conversation she switched in Italian saying she doesn’t speak English!
EXTREMELY VERY DISAPPOINTING!
- Ulvar (7/5): Cheap "suite", fine for 1 night. - Fancy, compertable bed and jacuzzi. Cheap. Noisy air condition and NO wifi in the room. having to go to one place to check in and then travel to another location to stay was not very pleasant.
- Sonam (1/5): Bad -
- Kinga (4/5): Disappointing -
- Dimitrije (4/5): Disappointing - The staff is very rude. They assigned us the wrong room, I sent a message on whatsapp, and I waited for an answer for more than half an hour even though they opened the messages. In the end, I had to go to the reception desk, which is 20 minutes' walk from the room. In my room The internet didn't work 4 days,I didn't get an answer to my question about why it doesn't work and how I can fix it during my entire stay. The rooms in the pictures look luxurious, but only in the pictures... I have to praise the girl who cleans the rooms every day, because she everything always looked neat and tidy. Another big problem is the poor or almost no knowledge of the English language by the staff. We also found ants in the room, but there were not many of them. If you have the opportunity, avoid this accommodation.
- Loretta (1/5): Bad - Beware if you need a,late check in. This hotel wanted to charge us €65 for arriving after 9pm - more than 50% of the price of the room. We moved elsewhere.
- Ariana (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tayla (2/5): Disappointing not what was excited- location not in hotel like the photos. It’s in a different location - The room was clean Very confusing on how to get to this accommodation! We did think we were booking a hotel for the night.
We put the details into the map for the location we were told
Only to be then told no you have to get the key from “hotel reception” and then once we got the key we have to go back to the original location. That costs an extra 15 euro each way in a taxi not to mention the time wasted on a holiday.
We thought we were booking a hotel
As per the photos on booking.com however we ended up in some apartment building not close to train station like we had tried to book there for a reason.
And if you wanted your bags held for a day that was another 4 euro per bag! I have never come across a hotel that has charged that!
- Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing -
- Louise (3/5): Disappointing - The room was cleaned to a good standard and the reception did reply to our messages in good time (when we could message due to WiFi being down). The walls are paper thin and we could hear loud noises of tables and chairs being moved around from the Pizzeria below long into the night and early hours of the morning, as well as noises from people either side of us in their rooms. We complained about the noise after the first night of trouble sleeping and the response was completely unsympathetic stating that it was just because it was a Saturday and there was nothing to refund as the noise was over now. We seriously considered moving hotels despite any refund we could get, but it would have changed our plans too much and we didn’t budget for it so we felt stuck, and in the end we didn’t bother contesting it any further. Thankfully the noise did improve after Saturday but we could still hear odd noises from around us. We also found a cockroach in our hot tub the second day and the Wi-Fi didn’t work for 2 days during our stay which was extremely inconvenient. I think the worst part is that check in and reception was a 15 minute walk away from the accommodation so it made communication and asking for help with anything very difficult, especially when their wifi was down, which was a lot during our stay.
- Shrouq (1/5): Will not recommend the place - The room was bad, the bed was uncomfortable, not good service and the room was placed in a bad area
- Paula (6/5): Pleasant -
- Hampel (2/5): Terrible staff, Terrible service, bad facilities, not practical - Nothing to like about this box house / hotel (just a shame to call this a hotel) The staff was very rude and unhelpful. Our air conditioning in 2 rooms was not working and instead of finding a solution, the staff told me that it is my fault that the air conditioning was not working because according to her "I didn't know how to use the air conditioning". 2nd night, I begged them to change our rooms. And after about 30 minutes, they did. Even in the new rooms, the AC didn't work in both rooms. We had to sleep in the heat sweating all night.
The beds are weak, too low and too soft. We woke up feeling beat up. We left our artwork in the room at checkout. I texted the ladies to look it up. Without checking and without making any effort, she told me there was nothing in the room. Also, I had to go back and forth with her until 1 hour when she finally decided to work. And then, she found the painting.
The bathroom has a huge bath with an impractical stand up shower. The rooms are equipped with 14 (fourteen) ceiling lights. It looks like a car showroom when the lights are on. It's too bright to turn on, and even some of the red and green mood lights are too low to see anything.
And then you have to pay to use the lifts. So how are you supposed to carry your bags to the second floor?
The hotel is too far from the reception. The least they could do is offer a shuttle from the check-in point to the accommodation. Everything in this company is about making money, but they have no idea what hospitality means.
Finally, upon checkout, we asked for a late checkout until 5pm, which we are willing to pay for. The ladies again told us we can only stay from 11am. at 12:00. for €25.
In all. . . . . . PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY AND BE TREATED LIKE A PIECE OF PAPER.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalia (1/5): A staff and organisation nightmare - Nothing really -The key needs to be picked up about 1.2km away from the place you are going to stay (if walking that’s about half an hour both ways). The information is there, but unclear about distances.
-They demand a credit card as a safe deposit (regardless of the payment already done previously). We have been travelling and paying everything with my travel card which they didn’t accept (even after I offered making the deposit cash). Therefore they didn’t allow me to check in, leaving us on the street and having to book again into a different place.
-Didn’t offer a refund regardless of all the issues.
-Staff was nice dealing with us, until the manager intervened being incredibly rude and kicking us out.
-They charge for leaving the luggage before or after check in.
-Basically the worst experience in all Europe after being travelling for over a month around.
-Just don’t come here. It is not worth the hassle and stress.
- Davide (8/5): Very good -
- Niu (7/5): Good -
- Yonier (6/5): Good but the internet it’s very important for us - The room it’s very good, clean and modern. Didn’t work the internet, stayed here during 3 days and never work
- Ubinspired (8/5): Naples - Great location close to train and bus station easy to visit Palace and museums. The reception is 10 minutes away from the room. It meant walking in the unknown with suitcases. We had booked a taxi but he would only do one stop and didn't wait at reception .
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guylain (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kam (3/5): Poor - located in the worst part of Naples.
if you collect keys after 9 pm they will charge you 70 £. never again

And after about 30mins, they did. In the new rooms also, AC didn't work in both room. We had to sleep in the heat sweating all night.
The beds are weak, too low, and too soft. We woke up feeling beat up. We left our artwork in the room on checkout. I sent a message to the ladies to look for it. Without checking and having no effort, she told me there was nothing in the room. Also, I had to have a back and-forth with her until 1 hour when she finally decided to work. And then, she found the painting.
The bathroom has a huge tub with an impractical standing shower. The bedrooms have 14 (fourteen) celling lights. It looks like a car showroom when the lights are on. It's too bright to put on, and some red and green mood lights are also too low to see anything.
And then you have to pay money to use the lifts. So how are you supposed to take your bags to the 2nd floor?
The hotel is too far from the reception. The least they could do is to offer a shuttle from the check-in point to the accommodation. Everything about this company is about making money, but they have no idea what hospitality means.
Lastly, on our check-out, we asked for late checkout till 5 pm, which we're willing to pay. The ladies again said to us that we can only stay from 11 am. to 12pm. for €25.
In all......PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY AND BE TREATED LIKE A PIECE OF PAPER.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- K (5/5): Served it's purpose but would not return. Disappointing. - Near the port and close to Garibaldi station. Shower was powerful. Air con was good. Fridge did not work. Different location to collect the key. Room was very expensive and expected a better room. Room was basic, beds were not comfy, bathroom had very bad finish. No mirror at dressing table. Location was quite rough. WiFi did not work. Lift took ages to come or just did not work.
- Rezwan (5/5): Complicated check in procedure in a dodgy apartment - The reception area and the apartment are in two different locations. The apartment is located in a dodgy area and hard to find taxi if you don’t mind to wait long time. The receptionists are quite rude and quite unprofessional. When we arrived in the apartment complex, we found out there was no clear instruction about the location of the apartment inside the building. We asked several tenants and none of them heard about this company. It was not easy to reach the receptionist either. After calling several times, we finally able to communicate and got the floor number. Overall, a bad experience and I will not recommend anyone coming to Naples. The attitude of the receptionists and clear instruction of the apartment location.
- Abigail (3/5): Basic and did the job but would not stay here again or use the ClaPa Group. - Basic and clean, a bit difficult to find but provided what we needed for 2 nights. We arrived 45 minutes prior to check in and wanted to enquire about a bag drop service but were quite rudely dismissed before we were even able to speak. The initial unwelcoming reception set the tone.
The air con was above the front door and the bed was around the corner from this, despite having the air con on its coolest setting, the air wasn’t able to circulate the room well. This left us with an uncomfortably warm room at all times unfortunately.
We also had a couple of issues during our stay and the staff although quick to respond to our concerns, were not very supportive or fair.
- Tabi (1/5): it was horrible, the reception was not very polite. -
