• Huyen Thanh (10/5): Great location, nice host - Vị trí đi ra ga metro line 2 khá gần, nên đi lại tiện, xung quanh cũng có rất nhiều cửa hàng, siêu thị để mua thực phẩm hay ăn hàng. Nhà trang trí xinh xắn, tôi thích ban công buổi sáng đầy nắng, ngồi ngắm xuống phố. Bà chủ nói được tiếng Anh và rất nhiệt tình chỉ dẫn.
• Aleksei (10/5): Удобное расположение рядом с метро, очень заботливая хозяйка - Отличное место для проживания в Шанхае. До метро 10 минут пешком, рядом одна из местных достопримечательностей - храм Циньан. До центра города добраться можно быстро и легко. Хотел увидеть как живут обычные люди, окунуться в их быт и культуру, поэтому выбрал квартиру, а не отель. Квартира чистая, рядом много магазинов и кафе. Хозяйка Лили - была очень приветлива, она прекрасно разговаривает на английском языке, так что сложностей в общении не было. Лили также отвела нас в ресторан с вкусной едой, и помогла с рекомендациями что посмотреть в Шанхае. Она во всем помогала, вы будете ощущать поддержку в Шанхае если остановитесь тут!

• Jiří (10/5): - Excellent stay! The accommodation was great and perfectly situated for exploring the city. A special thanks to the host, who was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the visit. For longer stays, having a few extra items in the kitchen would be a nice addition, but that's a very minor note in an otherwise wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

• Eider (10/5): - La casita de Lily tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días en Shanghai. La cama es cómoda, el baño lo suficientemente amplio con buena ducha y también tiene lavadora y secadora. Está a 10’ de una parada de metro. Lily es encantadora! Te explica todo muy bien y te ayuda con todo lo que necesitas. Incluso nos dejó unas botellas de agua fría y unos helados para refrescarnos cuando llegamos del aeropuerto. Gracias 🙂 -
• Jonah (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt in Shanghai - Lily war die perfekte Gastgeberin. Sie war super freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt (vegetarische Restaurants, Bahnanbindung, Sehenswürdigkeiten, usw.) gegeben. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr cool in einer local area und zur Bahn ist es nur ein 15 min Fußweg. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Nichts
• Gislain (9/5): - Lily est vraiment une hôte formidable. A l’écoute, prête à rendre service. Elle nous a donné toutes les infos nécessaires pour notre voyage avant notre arrivée. L’appartement était très propre, très bien. La tv ne fonctionne pas, mais c’est un petit détail.
• Claudio (10/5): Very recommended! - Just a shot away from the Jing'an Temple metro station. The owner has been very nice and supportive throughout my stay, fully recommended! Grocery shops and restaurants nearby.
• Neil (9/5): Great Stay at Lilys House - We stayed here 5 Nights in May 2025. Absolutely loved it. Lily the host is such a lovely person, met us at the Metro station 10 minute walk to the apartment, showed us around and told us all the best places to go in Shanghai. Remember, this is a private apartment and not a hotel, but has everything you need, washing machine, dryer, cooking facilities. Location is fantastic with Jing’An Metro Station close by, there are many small local restaurants all around to get some proper local food, as well as small shops and supermarkets to top up anything you need. It’s clean, it’s tidy, it’s quiet. We can’t rate Lilys hospitality and helpfulness enough. Thank You So Much Lily!! Downfall is 6th Floor and no lift, but once you have done it once (with suitcases) you tend not to worry about it.
• Remus (10/5): Ideal apartment for stay - We stayed 6 nights and it was perfect. The metro station(s) are a few minutes away. You get instructions as well how to get to the apartment. The building is a bit older than you think, but the apartment is good. You have also a washing machine. Lily took care also the mandatory registration to the local police and she also welcomed us a bit earlier that the normal check-in. If you want an apartment to visit Shanghai and around it, this place was perfect for us. Nothing, just keep in mind the apartment is on the 6th floor (as mentioned in the description)
• Benno (9/5): Happy stay - Lily is a very friendly and helpful person. The room had a good size and is bright. Shower worked well. Some noise from the outside, but not too bad. I had the impression the internet did not work well, but I had lots of data on my phone, so it was no problem.
• Rebecca (9/5): Superb - Amazing and helpful host. The apartment is small but fully equipped for a short stay. Location is easy to reach and close to the nicest local restaurants (better than city center!!). Lily guided us around in the neighborhood and also helped with finding a local sim-card shop. The aircon was a bit noisy but the owner informed me that they will fix it soon so I guess it will not be an issue anymore for future stays. The 6th floor without an elevator was not a problem for us and we had been informed in advance so no surprises at all.
• Anna (9/5): Very good stay at Lily's home, with a very nice and available host. - Lily is extremely friendly, helpful and dedicated. She welcomed us at the beginning (note that the Chinese government requires foreign hosts to register for every location where they stay, which Lily will help you to do) and remained available for recommendations in the area. She solved a problem of cold water in the shower in less than 24 hours. The appartment is suitable for a few nights, with a spacious bedroom-living room, a little kitchen and a little bathroom. You can also wash your clothes and let them dry outside or in the conservatory. The location near Jingan Temple metro station (about 10-15mn on foot) is extremely convenient (direct line to Hongqiao Railway Station and to several spots in the city center). The neighborhood is very lively and pleasant. The only downside is that the room is not very well isolated from the outside, which means you can hear some noises and it tended to be a bit cold (we stayed in early January).
• Helmut (9/5): A bright place in a nice area with a wonderful owner. - Lily was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. She really helped me out with different matters. She came to pick me up from the subway. Her pre departure information was very precise and helpful. The apartment is bright and feels cozy. There is a washing machine and a dryer. The area feels comfortable with many shops and restaurants. Just about a 10 minute walk away from the subway station. The residential complex has some local flair. Drinking water was provided. Above all, Lily deserves 5 stars for being so helpful. Xiexie 🙏🏻 The bed and the spring mattress felt uncomfortable. It was very difficult to keep a constant water temperature in the shower because of a delayed effect.

• Marlena (10/5): Exceptional - We loved staying at Lily's place. It was as local as it gets in Shanghai. It's a very lovely location, and Lily herself made the stay worthwhile. She helped a lot with recommendations and guidance.

She has bottled water in t - The apartment is spacious and bright and comfortable for two people. The location is very good for restaurants and bars and Jing’an Temple area. It is quite an international area. The kitchen area is in the entrance and not enough cutlery for cooking comfortably. The bed is quite hard and not so comfortable.

• Carina (9/5): Lovely stay at Lily's - We had a wonderful time at Lily's place. Everything was perfect and Lily puts much love into details like some flowers on the table etc. She was super helpful right from the start and always at hand when we needed help. We can only recommend staying at her place. We'd have loved to have more kitchen/cooking equipment like pots/pans or bowls for breakfast. However, this was the only downside.

• Karen (7/5): Live like a local if you have little luggage - The location is very convenient and there are good facilities nearby including restaurants and shops, metro and bus. It is on 5th floor with no lift and I had to carry my suitcase up and down though the host warned me of this after I made the booking. The shower is not the easiest one to operate.
• Desi (10/5): Amazing experience in Shanghai - The apartment is bright and spacious, conveniently located near Jing'an Temple, which is a perfect location to reach all the main attraction in Shanghai. The fact that there were a washing machine and dryer allowed me to take less clothes and have more space in my luggage for souvenirs. The apartment is located in a residential area and I loved that I was staying among locals, no tourists there. It gave me the chance to witness the locals everyday life and that is extra point for me! The mattress is quite firm, and I'm usually not used to that, but I slept like a baby every night. Lily was so kind and communication with her was perfect since the very beginning, she gave me a lot of tips and suggestions and I felt really looked after. I highly recommend this solution for your trip to Shanghai, I would definitely book again if going back to Shanghai. Just be aware that the apartment is on the 5th floor with no lift, but I knew that beforehand and for me it was not at issue. /

• Jarmo (10/5): Excellent nice apartment in the old block of flats. - Excellent location. Lot of foreign style restaurants and bars nearby. This area is not crowded by tourist. Silent. Good hard bed to sleep. Very fast Internet. Nice wooden simple decoration. Clean, pretty new interior. 6th top floor means no noise from the ceiling. For me good practice, I liked. The washing machine does not have heating, so for the dirt and sweat only. 6th floor and no lift can be a trouble for some, but OK for me. Dogs in nearby apartments can keep their talking on sometimes, but never during the night and not too loud for me. Stairwell is typical old comm. style, nobody's area and dark & ugly, but that is normal in these type of houses in the world. Not really an issue, just may look like ugly if not visit before anything similar.
