• Munro-King (9/5): Great value for money - Location. Very central, in-between two major lines (Elizabeth and DLR). An express supermarket across the road, a local shop next door, an amazing coffee shop also next door with a superb burger bar down the road! Apartment met our needs. Basic but comfortable, clean and secure. Needs some core TLC but nothing that ruined our stay. Value for money was superb and the host was attentive and quick to answer any queries. Size of the apartment was really good for the value and location. Would definitely stop again. It is on a busy street. Advise ear plugs for sleeping if you are a gentle sleeper but cant fault the host or apartment for this, purely life in London.

• Maxim (5/5): Good location and potential, but the price does not match the quality and it is not a luxury. - The best part of this apartment is definitely the location. For a place that is not in central London, it could hardly be better. There are excellent transport connections with the tube station nearby, as well as several bus routes stopping right next to the building. There is also a supermarket, many shops, and a local market within walking distance. The apartment itself has a very good layout, with spacious rooms and kitchen. We were also satisfied with the furniture and the kitchen equipment such as the stove, oven, and other appliances. It can be quite noisy, especially at night, if that is something that bothers you. One of London’s largest hospitals is nearby, so ambulances pass frequently, sometimes every 10 minutes, and can be heard clearly from the apartment. In our case this was not a major issue, but sensitive sleepers should be aware of it. The cleanliness on arrival could also have been much better. The kitchen utensils, especially the oven plates, were not in the best condition. There could also be more cookware such as pots and pans, and of better quality which is important, especially for family stay with limited budget. Small essentials like shower gel and similar items were not provided in sufficient quantity - there is a bottle but it's empty, there must be a prouder for laundry - not supplied, etc. In addition, the mirrored bathroom cabinet was broken and the mirror door was missing completely, we had to put a wall mirror in the bathroom. Although the apartment appears to have been renovated relatively recently, there were still many unfinished details and visible defects. For example, some light bulbs were burned out, the sealing in the bathroom needed improvement, and there is visible mold on bathroom vent and it smells. Some walls were dirty, with visible marks that looked like shoe prints and had not been cleaned. These kinds of issues reduced the overall impression. In general, the apartment has a great potential but needs more attention and maintenance that doesn't take much effort.

• Istvan (6/5): - Alapvetően tiszta, egyszerű szállás, jó elhelyezkedés. A két éjszakára rendben volt. Apró hibák: törött fürdőszobaszekrény, a szobában a tükör a földre van csak támasztva. A zuhanyfüggöny cserére szorul. Kicsit hideg volt a lakásban.

• Layla (6/5): - It was big, clean and very nicely decorated. We booked in to arrive for half 4 for one night and they were still cleaning the room when we got there which was a bit frustrating. As young women, we didn't feel very safe in the area, a lot of drunk men trying to talk to us and a women wouldn't stop pestering until we bought her a drink. The boiler was turned off so it took us a while to figure out why the shower wasn't warming up. The instructions of how and where to get to it is definitely not clear as it never says to go into a convenience store with a code that was never sent.

• Spinks (10/5): Genesis cinema visit - Well, we probably wouldn't have chosen the location if visiting central London for tourism but were attending the Genesis cinema and it was ideal as we were literally situated over the road. Having a 24 convenience store below the property is also a major benefit. Can't complain to be honest. There are pubs, restaurants and coffee shops all around and even getting to central London is easy by bus or taxi.

• Loretta (9/5): Fantastic property good value for money - We requested an early check in and owners were able to accommodate our request. Owners easily contactable when we had problems using entry doors. Kitchen superbly equipped with everything you neeed. Location was perfect for all our activities, especially Abba. If we ever come to London again we would check availability of this accommodation before booking anything else. Possibly consider using mattress protectors as when we stripped before we left found bed mattress was stained.

• diawara (7/5): Overall, a very good stay with a well-located and practical apartment, ideal for visiting London despite a small heating - The apartment was cool and well located, close to several metro stations, which made it very convenient for getting around. There is also a City Market just downstairs, open 24/7, which was extremely useful. The area is great if you want to visit London. There were some issues with the heating, which didn’t work properly and made the apartment quite cold, especially at night.

• Dávid (7/5): Okey. - Dostali sme lepší apartmán, ako sme si objednali. nafukovacia postel mala dieru,nedala sa použíť, na druhú noc sme dostali novú. po vypýtaní ďalšieho vankúša,som na druhý den dostal nový, Bol som príjemne prekvapený prístupom personálu. Byt síce nieje luxusnýale bol v poriadku aj čistý, v izbe málo úložného priestoru, v kúpelni žiadny vešiak. na vonkajšej chodbe pípal požiarny sensor,mohli by ste už vymeniť baterky v ňom. Okolie/ ulica, ( mne sa páčila) ale kto nebol mimo Európy,neodporúčam, Muslimská štvrť, vela " Afrických, Arabských" ĺudí, pre rodiny to môže byt zastrašujúce a pocitovo nebezpečné. My ako skupina sme sa cítil v bezpečí, ale sám by som sa v noci nerád prechádzal po ulici,

Da möchte man sehr ungern drauf schlafen. Der Schrank machte den Eindruck als würde er zusammenfallen. Die Lampe im Schlafzimmer war kaputt. Es gab alle 15 Minuten lautest piepen auf dem Flur, auch nachts. Es war sehr nervig

Bardzo ciężko otwierają się drzwi do budynku trzeba sporo nakręcić się kluczem. Na klatce schodowej 24 godziny na dobę hałasuje czujka w nocy czułam się jak na ojomie. Pod oknem w sypialni na zewnątrz dwa wentylatory które też też nie pozwalały spać spokojnie. Kanapa zepsuta rozsuwała się . Przydałoby się wyprać kanapę umyć drzwi i pomalować ściany są brudne.

Que han hecho obras y la cocina ahora esta cerrada, el sofa en una habitación y la tele en el pasillo que no se puede ver. Deberían actualizar las fotos. Y cambiar las ventanas, porque se escucha todo lo de la calle.

• Sunday (2/5): We have booked for two bedroom and got to the location to be given a one bedroom flat at late hour in the night. This is - Liked nothing because it was not the property I book for in the first place Like said it was not the property I booked for . Very terrible experience had with my family. We had to ring booking .com for over 1 hour and up till now our complains are yet to be resolved. The just wasn’t polite and lack a good gentleman behavior

Sofa bed is not suitable. Really loud noises every 10 minutes through the night - industrial noises. Building fire alarm system was constantly ringing, concerning because it’s a fire alarm. Poorly decorated / furnished with holes in walls etc… wouldn’t class this as a luxury apartment

• Claudio (5/5): No vendría otra vez - La ubicación de zona 2 , aunque el barrio es un poco inseguro Las fotos no sé corresponden con el apartamento, hicieron reformas y no tiene salón estar , el sillón lo pusieron en un dormitorio,un sillón roto y los cojines sucios. El televisor se quedó después de la reforma colgado en una pared que para verlo te tienes que poner de pie en un pasillo y a poco espacio. Para mí la nevera es muy pequeña para 4 personas . En las habitaciones entre mucha luz y el exceso de luz hace que no puedas dormir bien y no está insonorizado, mucho ruido del tráfico al tener un hospital cerca el ruido de las ambulancias con sirenas es todo el día .. necesitaría más armario para colocar ropa para 4 personas .y ya que tiene una lavadora pues no estaría mal un tendedero para secar la ropa .

• Usman (9/5): Comfortable, clean and close to central London - Only stayed there for 1 night. The flat as it was described in the description and as it was shown in the pictures. Really comfortable and clean place to stay. Overall service was great, host response was very quick. They allowed us to have flexible check-in and check-out hours which was great. Bathroom lock didn’t work. It was not a big deal but we were 4 people staying there so would have been great to have the door lock working for bathroom.

Lots of local amenities. - Broken toilet seat. - not enough dinner plates/bowls/cutlery for four people. - no shower curtain so water went everywhere in the bathroom. - congested hallway to access the flat. - dirty down the sides of the bed and underneath the sofa. - bed linen didn’t fit well so any movement caused it to come loose. the windows were single pane which next to a very busy main road meant disturbed nights sleep. - one of the windows didn’t lock, so the property wasn’t secure. - internet connection was awful - it kept dropping out about every 30-60 seconds!

It was clean and provided the appliances needed for a family. It was located near the underground station and bus stops and it was quite a short commute to major London attractions. Didn't have iron but quick message and immediate call back resolved. Windows were single glazed which meant it was quite noisy from busy road. Property seems to have been recently renovated but doors etc looked unfinished.

• Serbpreet (8/5): Great location and clean comfortable place. - Clean, great location for white Chapel and bricklane upmarket.Plus direct link to central London Paddington. Surprisingly quiet as it is right on the road. Key pickup and check-in very easy. On the first floor of a convenience store which is open 24 hours. A very helpful booklet in there with all the passwords and general information about the place. Paid 328£ for 3 nights for 4 people which is ideal for the space and location I think. Very responsive host. Highly recommended and will stay there again. There was this one annoying guy at the convenience store which is the key pick up place right under the apartment, who was very rude and drunk I think when we came back in the evening for the key. Also downstairs at about 1 am was noises of like domestic abuse and children crying..I almost called the police but it went quiet. I suspect it was the drunk guy. Apart from that the stay was all very good.

The flat itself was really clean, and we had a book with instructions which had every answer to the most common questions The upstairs neighbor was really loud, we could hear every single step they made so it’s not really quiet.

• Irene (1/5): No es para 4 personas - location Definitely I would not recomend this apartment to anybody. Since the beginning the contact with them was very confusing with different versions when we requested a consigment place to leave baggage earlier than check in time. At the end after change the information they allow us for early checking but same day. They informed us to collect the key at off license shop and the guy told us that we should have 2 apartments but one wasn’t ready and therefore we should collect second key in the afternoon. Then in the afternoon they informed  us that this was not true and we shouldn´t trusted the guy as he was not the owner. But how we should know? Then we have just one apartment with just one double bed and small living room with a small couch. From one hand they advertise a  double bed-couch for 2 people, but it wansn’t, it was small chaise longue coach that it might be suitable for children but not for addults. You can feel the structure of the sofa because it is not a matress and it is very hard to  sleep barely an adult person could  fit in. The book we have done was  for 4 persons, when we claim the owner informed that there is also an airbed due to this reason. Which is not in the add and obviusly  sleep in airbed was not the conditions that we booked and payed. From the other hand, there bedding  for this couch and airbed was not ready, we couldn’t see anywere! We called  again and they informed that there were some pillow and duvet under the coach, without cover. We requested a cover, they informed us that at the kitched it was a cover,  we founded wrinkled and dirty cover,  but just one. We informed about this situation that we book for 4 persons and one person has not bedding and they refused to bring more bedclothes.

• Asta (6/5): Decent... sleepless night. - Very basic but clean property. The beds are comfy. Great location. Not so friendly hosts, they were not responding to queries and were not very friendly on arrival (gave us wrong key twice and was not happy that we could not open the door !). The noise from the street is AWFUL. The windows do not close properly and it looks like the host does not want to invest in soundproofing.

• Helen (5/5): Basic but did the job - It was very clean Both the bedrooms windows do not close which means it’s very noisy all night. I think the pictures are quite misleading.
• Spencer (5/5): Bearable for a short, cheap trip if you need handy, clean flat. - The location was conveniently between two tube stops - Whitechapel, which had lifts and access to the Elizabeth line, and Stepney Green. The flat was very clean. There was enough cutlery, glasses and basic utensils to do some light cooking if you wanted. You collect keys from the 24/7 corner shop below the flat which means you can arrive anytime after checkout. The flat faces onto a busy road with only single-glazed sash windows. So street noise is a real problem (we had to sleep with earplugs in). What made this worse was on our first night in flat #2, the upper sash of the right window in the right-hand room was stuck open (looked like it was painted open, see photos). This made the room even louder and the whole flat was freezing. Even with the heating on a cold draught swept in. They swapped us into flat #4 for night 2, but we shouldn't have been given flat #2 in the first place until they fix this window problem. We are coming into winter after all. The beds felt like you were sleeping on a concrete slab. I like firm beds, but I've never slept on a firmer mattress in my life. The bathroom had tiny mirrors and a weak extractor fan that sounded like it was pulled out of a laptop. For any European/American visitors, due to UK building regulations plug sockets can't be put in the bathroom, but there should be shaver plugs instead. Wi-Fi was only 8MB/s and the router was in the first flat, there was no router in the second one. Was advised to connect to some public network instead which had barely any signal. All doors (flat and main door) were hard to lock and had to be slammed shut, and fiddled with, probably disturbing our neighbours.
