Guest Reviews
- Chris (10/5): - The host David was so accommodating, nothing was to much trouble. Everything you needed was on board and the location was amazing. Leaving
- Samuel (10/5): Absolutly stunning - The owners of the boat and the view
- Amanda (8/5): -
- Kylie (10/5): -
- Gamble (10/5): Truly unique and relaxing experience - Incredibly unique experience. Perfect spot to relax and lots of nice restaurants close by. Nothing, it was amazing.

- Hui Hui (1/5): Serious failure in booking management & customer support - NA I had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience. The accommodation was double booked, and despite paying nearly $500 for one night, we were turned away on arrival. I was travelling with my dog, which made the situation even more difficult to manage on the spot.
When I contacted customer service at 4pm, the urgency of the situation was made very clear. However, staff seemed more focused on following protocol than resolving the problem. I was told to wait 45 minutes for an email update before I could even proceed to book alternative accommodation — completely unreasonable when stranded that late in the day.
No alternative hotel was arranged for us. Instead, I was passed around with promises of credits and vouchers, which I was told would take 24 hours to be issued. I later had to call again, and this was changed to a refund, which also never happened. After a full week, I followed up again and received no response at all.
In the end, we had no choice but to drive all the way back to Brisbane, wasting hours of travel time, fuel, and what was meant to be a planned stay. The lack of urgency, accountability, and follow-through made an already unacceptable situation worse. I will not be using this platform again.

- Stoyan (10/5): What an incredible experience, would 100% recommend and can't wait to return. - Absolutely loved our stay. We went in with no expectations and were simply blown away by David and Allys generous hospitality. They went above and beyond to provide us with an unforgettable experience.
Great location on the river with incredible views and fantastic restaurants across the road.
Peaceful, especially around sunrise and sunset.
Unrestricted access to the dinghy making it convenient to explore noosaville and noosa heads.
Everything and more than we needed was provided.
Kitchenette including: Fridge, gas burner, coffee machine, complete cutlery set and chopping board.
Adequate lighting and excellent fan to use at night.
Privacy screen.
24hr parking on the street. Can get a bit rocky during the day with other boats and jet skis going past (but this is to be expected for the location). We were out most of the day so it didn’t bother us.
Toilet and shower is basic, like camping (also to expected for the size of house boat and price range). It was breeze for me, a bit more of a struggle for my wife who prefers comfort on vacation. End of the day it’s a small trade off the location and overall experience.
Neither of these were an issue however.
- Scott (10/5): Lovely stay literally on the river, with amazing hosts! - The hosts, David and Ally, were warm, friendly and full of help. The location was remarkable - on the water with lovely sunrise and sunset views, and close to lots of restaurants, groceries, and a bottle shop. Using a dinghy to get to and from the boat was an adventure! The boat house was comfortable, with good beds and a nice kitchenette.
- Vanessa (7/5): How’s the Serenity??? - Location location location!!! Amazing Sunsets.. Catching Bream for dinner straight off the houseboat…. Bed a little small for 2.. but it is a houseboat…
- Adriana (10/5): Inviting, relaxing and peaceful location. - Location, sunsets, sunrises and the little get around boat for easy access to shore. Relaxing accommodation.
Ally was amazing, nothing was a problem always helpful and available if/when required.
Thank you very much. There was nothing to dislike.
- Melanie (10/5): Stunning setting! Hosts David and. Ally are awesome and very hospitable 😊 - Location Location Location
- Grace (10/5): 10/10 - we will be back and recommend to all our friends - We had the most incredible time onboard Liquid Paradise. From the fishing, swimming, exploring, sunsets, sunrises, star gazing to switching off completely and being in our own bubble. A perfect escape. If you need a reset, this is the spot.
Highlight was catching a crab and cooking it on the boat. Best we have ever tasted.
David and Ally are brilliant hosts and will make sure you are well looked after.
We are going to recommend this spot to all our friends and family, as we want others to experience the liquid paradise magic. Wish we booked another night.
- Toby (10/5): - What a great experience, I loved the tranquillity of boat life. Would really recommend it to anyone who wants something a bit different.
David and Ally were fantastic hosts. They went above and beyond with any help I needed. They also provided a bunch of supplies, including milk, coffee, tea and some snacks etc.
Also had great fun fishing from the back of the boat. Rod provided. Having your own small boat to get around was the cherry on top.
- Inês (10/5): Wonderful and unique experience!! - We had an unforgettable stay — our first time sleeping on a boat, and it was truly unique! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. We loved the stunning sunset, sunrise, and even got to enjoy a full moon. Using the little rowing boat was a fun adventure too! The boat has everything you could possibly need. If we ever come back to Noosa, we’ll definitely stay here again. We didn't like the fact that we had to leave 😔
- carole (10/5): Special, different and fun - Unique and funky Nothing liked it all
- Geraldin (10/5): Excelent - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
David, the host, was incredibly attentive! The place was super clean, the atmosphere was so relaxing, and check-in was really easy. You can even drive a little boat around, which makes the experience even more fun and unique!
I’d definitely come back without a doubt! Absolutely nothing! Everything was perfect
- Elizabeth (10/5): Ally and David could not do enough for us and they were the most generous and kind hosts. We will be back next September - We loved being on a houseboat with our own dingy to explore the waterways. Catching whiting off the back of the boat with a drink in hand and a 10 minute dingy ride to Hastings street for lunch at the Noosa surf club. Every type of restaurant, coffee shop and supermarket a short stroll away. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Just the most fantastic experience sitting looking out to the boats passing by. Nothing
- catherine (10/5): Would highly recommend this. A unique and lovely experience. - The location is amazing! The hosts - Dave and Ally were exceptional hosts who went out of their way to help. This is exactly the type of tourism Noosa needs!
- Kylie (10/5): -
- Brooke (10/5): Can’t wait to come back!! - Absolutely beautiful location everything you need for your stay. Sunrise and sunset were amazing.
David and Ally the host were wonderful and so kind. Absolutely nothing !!
- Montana (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed Liquid Paradise. Beautiful views, beautiful people, beautiful location. Hosts were exceptional - The unique and different environment. Well kept and easy to get to. We loved everything.
- Paul (8/5): Enjoyable different type of stay. Fun to be on a boat but need to accept your environment is different. A new experience - The boat is fun and a change to the normal.
The view is amazing at sunset and sunrise
Having a little runaround either dingy or tinny was great for seeing more of Noosa canals You have to accept it’s a boat so what some might see as not good I see as part of this type of accommodation. The shower being an example of this. However the location which was a big draw card (at end of Hastings) ended up being a big disappointment. The boats have been moved to Noosaville not Noosa. David did an amazing job to try to make up for this but the new location has more passing traffic and so noise and waves which rock the boat. It’s also a strong current at night when you have to paddle back to the boat. Not ideal if going out for the night. Dave said he tried to change booking.com write up (which is misleading as still states 3 Hastings at) but booking.com are the problem.
- Jeremy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jorge (10/5): magical location, with David and Ally were the best and so easy to deal with. will def return. - the location was fantastic and magical right on the water with the best views and marine life. The parks and best swimming areas right at your doorstep, plus enjoy beers while you watch all the water activities and sunsets. it took a little to get used to a houseboat being my first time, but im a restless sleeper.
- Madelon (7/5): Very enjoyable; a bit like bush camping (with a comfy bed) in a beautiful location... - the location was fantastic, very close to Hastings Street and on the water. Good parking close by. Beach walkable. We didn't move the car for 4 days! The houseboat was well equiped with conveniences you needed (wet wipes etc), comfortable bed, good seating areas, to be comfortable. It is definetely not for everyone - Glamping without a proper toilet and hot shower... We didn't like that the wet area didn't have a hot water shower and an toilet that was easier to operate... also no flowing water in the kitchenette, making it hard to clean and wash hands. Also the battery was a bit small, even after fully sunny days we would run out of power at 8pm (when we just wanted to make that last hot cup of tea...).
- Kerryn (8/5): Gorgeous view of sunset over the water and awesome proximity to Hastings Street - It was so close to Hastings Street and the afternoon view of the sun setting over the water When the weather changed the boat got rocky and I got seasick.
- Léa (10/5): Exceptional - Staying on the houseboat was amazing! The view was stunning, and it was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!
- Luana (1/5): Bad - Dave and Ellie were great hosts and accommodating when needed. I think that the boat is not always to everyone's liking however the hosts attitude made it a better.
- Teri (9/5): The best holiday experience, thank you !! - Location was superb, David the host was extremely personable and communication was excellent throughout our stay.
Bed was comfortable
Can highly recommend and will rebook 👌🏼 Kitchen utensils may not not been washed properly by previous guest.
- Crowley (10/5): Exceptional - 10/10
Wow Wow and Wow.
We had the absolute best time floating on "Liquid Paridise " so close to the beach and Hastings Street. We didn't even use our car. The bathroom setup was great, and hot shower was the perfect way to finish the day to sit and watch the most beautiful sunsets. Ally and David made us feel so welcome and answered any questions we had and gave some great local tips on where to eat and where to go.
We 💯 can't wait to return to experience even more 🙌
