- Melvin (10/5): Really enjoyable -
- Jen (7/5): Just - Location to center of town It was dirty
The kitchen is so greasy someone’s written DIRTY in the grease and dust on the rangehood above the stove
Nice !!!!
- Jennifer (7/5): Good - Great position Mattresses poor , door steps though house dangerous, kept kicking my toes.
Stove door nearly falling off, not great.
Fencing for dogs big gaps underneath fences.
Under house needs mesh around so dogs don't get under as alot of rubbish under there.
Can't get out front door fire hazard.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Able to take the dog. Very close to the beach. Everything you need was supplied at the house. Beds were nice and firm. Mats a little slippery on the polished floors.
- Joanne (5/5): Passable - Location was great. Air cons worked well Front door couldn't open. We had no key and they tried to fix it but couldn't. Only back door for emergency exit. No dishwasher even though dishwasher was listed on booking.com
- Marijne (8/5): Great value for money, kid and dog friendly - It's great value for money, and the location is great. Walking distance to supermarket, cafes and beach. We brought our dog and toddler and the place is amazing for both. This was our second time here and we'll be back again! The rug has a bit of dog hair on it so probably not the best place to stay if you don't like dogs (or their hair). Given that we're dog owners, we didn't mind though. The bin could also use a clean as it smells a bit (but which bin doesn't in summer).
- Rose (5/5): It was pleasant & well priced. Staff at Agency not overly friendly. - Location great. Correct description of house amenities.
Washing machine & dryer. Bath & shower.
No microwave cookware, no oven dishes.
Scant supply of dishwashing liquid ‘ laundry powder
toilet paper ( 2 rolls), bin liners.
Would be helpful to have salt pepper etc paper towel etc
- Adams (4/5): Nice location but Vinnies would do a better job of fitting out the kitchen - Located in the middle of Evans, close by the shops, pub and riverfront. Everything within walking distance. It's an older workers cottage, fitted out with century old furniture. Not necessarily bad if it had been maintained better. The bed was comfy and the water was hot. The raft of reminder emails on what to do and not to do, or we'd be charged extra. Similar signage all around the house. We paid a $100 cleaning fee with the booking to find that the toilet had splash marks on the walls (bit gross), the crockery was dirty from the previous visitors, the crockery was chipped and worn and there weren't enough plates to cater to the number of beds (noting there were only two of us), the BBQ didn't work, the neighbours were using the bins which were on the street and full when we arrived and full again by the time we came back to the house an hour after the garbos had been (also noting this was something the agent appeared keen to charge extra for; if we didn't put the bins out). All up; this property needs work in the kitchen, in particular, and probably a new agent given Elders apparent lack of attention to the level of cleanliness.
