• Shae (1/5): Short. Left and booked a hotel - Amazing building and great location, unfortunately Apartment 902 was dirty, smelly, with damaged furniture & thick dust. So bad, we didn’t say and instead went next door to the W Hotel. Apartment had not been cleaned properly. Was clearly a private residence and had not been cleaned to a hotel standard.

Apartment was massive, clean & tidy with a huge fridge freezer. Great to have a table to eat at with an amazing view of the river. Security of the building was good, felt safe as a solo female traveler Pillows - absolutely dreadful, please invest in decent ones & the same for the towels which had seen better days from too much washing. Please add more cutlery & different types of glasses. Gas ring on the hob could do with a deep clean.

It was like a maze down there and I was very anxious. I didn’t like the key pickup or drop off, or the threatening rules. It made me upset again.

We were treated horrendously and for no fault of our - The location I didn’t like the fact that I was promised parking in the booking and ended up paying over $250 to get in and out of the property, There was issues getting the combination for the lock box, and in trying booking.com cancelled our reservation which we found out after staying there for 24 hrs. We were told if we didn’t pay the full fee we’d previously already been charged within the hr that they’d be contacting police

A coffee machine, for the amount you pay for a night to have International Roast Instant Coffee and Dilmah Tea... probably a Nespresso machine/POD machine or even a Plunger available, so could enjoy a decent coffee and the view

Decor was very unusual & felt like we were living in someone else’s place & not a holiday unit. Keys were a pain to get & the communication was consistent to the point of annoying.

Fast lifts , secured building , nice lobby staff; cheap setup inside apartment : kitchen knives are not able to cut things super blunt:mixed match clothes hangers ; broken toilet paper holder ; broken toilet flush buttons; scratchy towels and poor quality sheets ( we ended up buy our own towels and sheets ) ; flooded every time after shower; 3 rubbish bags for 2 weeks stay ; hair on bed ; a sock under the couch; consistent bad smell from bathroom.

• Jones (6/5): Stay could have been improved with more coherent instructions and an upgrade to the kitchen utensils. - The view of the river was outstanding. Obtaining the key was a stressful mission which required paying $25 for 25 minutes parking. Booking.com instructions advised the key was on site but it wasn’t. It was around the corner at a coffee shop that had very rude and unhelpful staff. Instructions were ambiguous and unclear. Road noise from below was an issue at night. There were disposable foam ear buds left on the dining table to use at night, really??? The kitchen was very poorly provisioned with cheap and nasty cutlery and scratched crockery (Anko) that was well past its use-by date and should have been replaced years ago. The knives supplied were picnic style knives of which 2 out of 4 couldn’t be used because the wooden handles had come off. That’s how bad it was!! Toilet kept running after flushing but eventually stopped after 10 minutes each time! Jug was delaminating inside so had to use a saucepan to boil water and frypans burnt and unusable. For the price I expect better. Also, you find out in “the guidelines” you receive by email the day before you arrive that you will be charged A$50 for every 15 minutes you are late in checking out. I have NEVER heard of this elsewhere and I have travelled the world! Talking to other residences (whose fob wouldn’t open the front door so I had to let them in), we all agreed there was better value in Brisbane than CASA One.

• Melanie (7/5): Lovely new apartment with great views - Lovely apartment. Loved both bedrooms had double beds each with a bathroom. Very new and clean - so new price tags still on many items. Location of key safe about block from apartment. When carrying luggage, need to park a car temporarily to get keys, or bucketing rain this is very inconvenient. Using Concierge in bldg would be much better. Logistics with a car and by self would be difficult . No car and would be much easier to stay at this location.

• Aidan (9/5): Beautiful Brisbane CBD stay - Great location, good view, good amenities, the pool got a lot of use, our little one loved it! Curtains were reasonably dark which was great for our light sensitive sleepers, not too much road noise. Parking is relatively easy, just avoid moving your car in and out during weekdays mornings or you might lose your spot really quick. Staff were lovely, especially with managing additional booking requests. Beds weren't the most comfy, pillows either too soft or too large.

• Nicole (2/5): Disappointing and expensive for what you get. - The location The horrendous smell of vomit when I first entered the unit. The unit was not cleaned apart from fresh towels,clean sheets and the toilet paper folded into a triangle nothing else appeared to have been cleaned. Coffee cup rings on bed side tables as well as them being dirty and marked, dirty hand marks on ceiling and walls, brown marks on wall tiles in bathroom, carpet had a lot of marks from things that were spilt on it and has not been cleaned if ever. There were also bugs and split food on the skirting boards in the kitchen which you can see from the lounge & dining areas. Bedside lamps marked with ??? And one shade is broken. Also you are charged for a cleaning fee which it appears is never used to clean. Have emailed the company to explain my concerns, as yet no reply. It is better to stay at one of the other hotels where you better value for your money and they work out cheaper cause some of them include breakfast and you can use the dining room/ restaurant if there is just one person dining.

• Kristy (8/5): Ideal location - The location was ideal! It was located within a short walking distance of tourist attractions, public transportation, and small supermarkets. It also had a washing machine and dryer within the room, which was very useful. Not enough towels for the number of days we stayed. The weather was rather warm at the time we went. Thankfully there was a washing machine and dryer that was within the room re-wash them.

• Catherine (8/5): Great location for easy access to Brisbane city. - Centrally located with easy access to Brisbane CBD. This spacious apartment had a lovely balcony with views of the river. It has access to an amazing pool area and gym facilities. The contact with the agent was very responsive and they were able to accommodate our needs. Loved the City Cat river transport We were not able to secure overnight parking on this occasion which did incur additional expense

• Kathy (9/5): Great place to relax and enjoy the view, whilst only minutes from Queen St mall. - The location and the view make this our number one “want” from now on. The security is outstanding because you don’t have random people entering the building and roaming the floor. The unit was clean and spacious. I am a kitchen gadget girl, so just a few more kitchen utensils like egg flip, tongs, and a strainer would make it a bit easier to cook with. The water pressure in our shower was not great but that is a building issue.

• Maria-Sandra (9/5): Great one bedroom apartment, great views and easy access to all amenities. - Great location, great views of South Bank and West, and easy access to City Cats. The apartment also had a ceiling fan in lounge area, and windows in both the lounge area and bedroom, in addition to air-conditioning. I liked everything.
• steven (8/5): great location clean room once we had completed the process everything was relatively easy - location and view little clunky with instructions ie: key location, parking ect. however we had been traveling for over 10hrs off a red eye.
• Anthony (9/5): - Great location, big spacious apartment, very clean. Would def stay here again It was difficult to pick up the keys and get into the carpark (the instructions were good, but there is limited on street parking in that part of the city to stop and collect the keys)
• Wendy (6/5): Really beautiful apartment. If you can check-in during the daylight. - The apartment was stunning. Very, very comfortable. Collecting the keys after hours was complicated, and I did not feel safe. I had to park my vehicle in a dark alleyway, and then walk down the street to try to find a keypad out the front of a closed coffee shop where there was no lighting. There was nowhere to pull up in front of the hotel to unload bags so I had to carry them for a couple of blocks. Amenities inside the apartment were not working. This included the cooktop, and the dishwasher. The lifts are complicated and tricky to use. I stay in lots of different hotels, and still had to ask someone at reception if they could please show me how to get up to my floor.
