• Dave (7/5): Very ‘meh’. - 2 bed + 2 bath is great for a family. Not too far from town (not close either). Has all expected BASIC amenities. Decor is dated and feels like it was handed down from nanna (and hasn’t changed since I stayed here in 2013 & 2018). Beds are cheap and uncomfortable. Heater doesn’t work properly (defaults to 26 and turns the house into a sauna). No cooling. No ceiling fans. No soap provided. Cheap linen and towels the size of tea towels. I guess it’s relative to what you’re used to, but I’ve stayed in several cheaper motels locally that I rate higher. Laundry door doesn’t work so sound of washing machine/dryer comes into main area and cannot be avoided. Very dark and dull inside. Lights are circa 1999. Garage door is ready to fall off. Didn’t trust enough to use garage. It’s not an expensive accom, but is overpriced for what it is. We stay in bright 10-20 nights a year. This place was ‘fine’ but that’s all it was. Has HUGE potential, but just gives off a ‘no f***s given’ owners vibe. Highlighted by the cobwebs and dust everywhere. It’s clearly cleaned after each visit (sheets, bathrooms) but hasn’t been actually ‘cleaned’ for years.

Responded to an email but it didn’t go through an no phone number to call if an issue. Should have put this 8n the box below Communication before arrival as didn’t see email addressing key details until after checking in. A phone number to contact would have been useful
• Jennie (8/5): A pleasant villa to stay in and we would stay here again - All rooms are of a good size and the beds, couches and kitchen bench seats were comfortable. It was quiet and dark at night so easy to sleep. Bedrooms were far apart so good if you are travelling with snorers. Nice view from kitchen and living area of garden and adjoining woodland. Only a fifteen minute stroll from the shops and the water park A few things that are easily fixed so I will only mention them to owner

• Julie (10/5): Amazing villa in the centre of bright, so relaxing and had all the facilities you could want. - The villa was amazing, ideally located but was beautifully decorated and the garden area was amazing with daily visits from the Kookaburra and Lorikeets. I couldn't recommend this property anymore it was so peaceful and relaxing after a long day visiting sites in the area. Nothing it was ideal

• Cortina (10/5): A beautiful house in a really beautiful town. - A beautiful outlook plus a well equipped home. We especially loved having a laundry after travelling for a week and a half! My granddaughter was excited, having her own TV (not that she watched it much 😁) If you wanted to walk into town, it was possibly a bit too long especially if you can’t walk far, it’s dark at night and the temperature is quite cold in September (but none of these is the fault of the house!)

Our back unit had a lovely outdoor area in a bush setting. Although it was a good location, it was a little far to walk in to town for the older members of our family.

• David (9/5): A pleasant and relaxing place to stay. - This is a very large unit in a natural setting in a great location. There was a nice view to the rear of the property of a large pine plantation. It was very quiet and private being 1 of only 4 villas on the large block, and we enjoyed sitting & relaxing in the shade of one of the large trees. This is an ideal villa for a weeklong stay for a family as it has plenty of space inside and outside and has all the facilities required for a long stay. If we get the chance to return to Bright for another hoilday, this is the property we would like to stay at. There were just a couple of very minor maintenance issues. eg toilet fan didn't work.

• Greg (9/5): We were very happy with the comfort and equipment level, would consider a longer stay next time. - The villa was well-located, withing walking distance of the town centre, and at the rear of the property which minimised traffic noise. Very comfortable and well-equipped. Only very minor issues - no lamps on bedside tables, for instance.

King ensuite room and 2nd bedroom is quite large with 2 twin beds. Main bathroom has a spa bath as well as separate shower. Beautiful privat garden area outside well screened from other units with barbecue and outdooor setting. It was just about perfect. Kitchen was well appointed with a dish washer and plenty of cooking utensils. The only thing I could find is that the mattress was a little hard for my old bones.

• Rachelle (9/5): Felt like a holiday that was as welcoming as coming home - Beautiful location close to town. Excellent facilities including all the little extras that you forget while on holidays. Condiments in the cupboard, coffee machine on the bench, this property remembers all the little things. We had a wonderful stay. We had no instructions for the heating. It may have been our ignorance but the heating throughout the night seemed to switch off. It was a little cold if you didn’t use the electric blanket ( which was very cosy).

• Ana (7/5): Pleasant - Location is beautiful - third time staying here and the view is always my favourite. Spacious, has everything you need. Perfect for a small family. It was freezing, uncomfortably cold. The heating facilities don’t work well enough to keep anyone warm in that house, especially overnight and early morning it’s almost unbearable. The beds are so hard, I don’t remember the beds being that hard. The dishes in the kitchen were not clean, and the oven needs a very good clean.
