• Michael (4/5): Health and Safety issues and poor cleanliness on arrival. - Apart from the Health and safety risks, poor cleanliness and poor facilities- we found the location was ideal to visit the Olympic pool and the area around the apartment was good with great transport links and a choice of supermarkets, places to eat and drinks. The apartment was spacious and a large balcony with great views. It’s a shame that issues were not rectified earlier and the host didn’t respond to my complaint. The Health and Safety issues that too long to be dealt with or wasn’t rectified at all during our stay. The kitchen tap was broken prior to our arrival and the spout would fly off once the tap was turned on resulting in water flooding the worktop that contained electrical hobs and electrical sockets. A new tap was fitted 4 days of informing the hosts. During the tap issue, the electrics fused and the faulty socket was the nearest socket to the sink- The host told me not to use the faulty socket (2nd day) and the issue was never looked at/ investigated during our stay (7 days). I asked the kettle to be replaced on the 2nd day due to the socket fusing- this did not happen either. The apartment wasn’t clean on arrival- stains on surfaces, pillow cases, sheets and mattress. The shower floods the living room due to the drain being higher than the bathroom floor. After the stay I contacted the host about the issues occurred but got no response.
