The street also comes alive at night with a range of restaurants that appear hidden in plain sight during the day. There's also a vintage clothes shop just across from the apartment doors which was a welcome surprise. The building itself appears old and somewhat unkept, however that does not take away from all of the positives that this location has to offer.

• Thomas (8/5): Clean apartment for our family of 5 at a reasonable price with the Shibuya crossing a 10 min walk to - Excellent location with the Shibuya crossing within easy walking distance (the whole point of coming here)! Clean and comfortable apartment for our family of 5 at a reasonable price. Here is an excerpt taken from my book, “Best Latin America and Asia Vacations”: “After about an hour drive, he pulled up to our apartment rental building in a tiny alley way. We unloaded and tried to figure out how to get to our room. After about 10 frustrating minutes, I realized we were at the wrong building! I was so tired and upset, nothing was going to plan. I finally asked a woman and together we figured that it was a building close by and finally got in. The first thing we wanted to do is just walk and see the world-famous Shibuya Crossing for the iconic scramble where 5 major streets converge together and all the lights turn red at the same time to allow the thousands of people to cross. It was dark and cold by the time we set out, but it was only a short 10-minute walk. It was good to have a washing machine and dryer and kitchen It had damp musty smell from the minute we walked in. I think it was shower area it was not pleasant. The outside entry and building was awful. There was rubbish in neighbouring yards that we saw rats in. It was not a good building. I nearly didn’t stay here

• Nathan (8/5): beside not being able to communicate with the host, everything else was good. - The layout was great for a family of four. Clean and comfortable. Very hard to find/locate how to connect with the host. I then replied back to the host's note, but no response at all; thus it gave me anxiety of not knowing if our family of 4 would be able to get inside the facility. If not, not sure where we would stay as this location as it is out of the way.

The area around the floor was dirty and not well kept and did not look safe. For the price that I paid did not look worth. The toilet bidet did not work initially but eventually did after consulting the owner.

Apartment was clean with great amenities we were a family of 5 ( 3A & 2K ) and found the size liveable for our stay A few extra pillows would have been great. But otherwise everything was great

• Anne (8/5): Great location, clean, simple yet roomy. - Location was excellent, with two train stations close by. Easy walk to Shibuya crossing. 24 hour supermarket close by along with 711. Excellent size bedrooms with space for luggage. Toilet and shower in separate rooms. The outside of the building and corridors were old however inside the apartment was clean and fresh. Washing machine/dryer takes a very long time. Laundromat just up the laneway if an issue.

The corridor/lift/stairs area outside the apartment was nowhere near the standard that the apartment was, it was unclean and clearly required upkeep, not the apartment owners fault but it did make us worry at first

• Amy (8/5): Lovely convenient apartment in the heart of Tokyo - Nice little apartment, clean and comfortable. Helpful instructions throughout from the hosts, including detailed directions of how to find the place with pictures. Also a book in apartment with instructions for all the appliances. The apartment is not really 10 mins walk from Shibuya station, more like 15-20 in the August heat with kids and luggage, mostly uphill! We got the train to Shinsen station, one stop up from Shibuya (have to change lines tho) but that station is much closer, 3 or 4mins walk. Also as others have said the corridors, lift and stairwells look very dirty and run down but don't be put off as the inside is lovely.

Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut: Neben den üblichen Utensilien waren sogar Kleinigkeiten wie Waschmittel und Zahnpasta vorhanden. Absolut empfehlenswert!

• Tiffany (10/5): Cute place and great location. - It was a cute, clean place. The location was great and it was located in walkable distance. It was quiet and loved the Lawson and 7-11 was super close for quick pick-ups. It was much smaller than the pictures made it look. We fit everyone comfortably to sleep, the common area was extremely small for 5 people. The bathroom was interesting as well where the shower was the same place as where you brush your teeth. It was a bit difficult but made it work.
• Young (4/5): Good location, dirty building. - This property is all about location. It was great, however, it is around a lot of bars, so expect noise late at night - lots of people getting drunk and being loud outside. If you're a sensitive sleeper, this might not be a good fit for you. That said, the beds were fairly comfortable, I just don't fully trust the cleanliness of them, as we found hairs of previous guests around. The building is really dirty and it smelled bad. The apartment itself was clean, but I did find hairs of previous guests, which grossed me out a little bit. Also, there is a washer, but no dryer -- so if it's raining outside (which it was for me), there is nowhere to dry clothes. Luckily, there is a great laundromat down the street. Overall, it all felt a bit dirty being at this place.

Lots of izakayas on the street and a few steps to 7/11. 5 minutes to a small train station (Shinsen station) that is one stop away from shibuya station. Or walk 10-15 to shibuya. The pdf directions with visual was very good. It was fun to follow your map and directions. We stayed in 403, Comfortable for 5 people. It was nice to see the locals walking to/from work in the neighborhood. There was a musician/drummer in the building that likes to play music at 0630am. I am sure it’s a power move from the resident, but rude nonetheless.

• Stephen (4/5): Despite the good location, it was an unpleasant experience not to be repeated. - Good location . Animated neighborhood with easy access to Shibuya station. This two bedroom apparemment was too small for the number of beds proposed. One bedroom was OK but the other one had two double beds (so for four people) that filled the room making it very difficult to move around and impossible to open the closet doors and leaving no place to store luggage or access belongings except in already very tiny quarters. We were a family of four but the common area was too small for us to eat together without moving around table and chairs (like living in a camping car). The photos on the Booking website made the living area seem larger than it was. There was a washing machine but no dryer and nowhere inside to hang wet clothes to dry (it was winter). So we had cramped quarters with wet clothes draped over chairs and door knobs. The lighting was bright and unpleasant and the remote light dimmer did not work so it was like living in an operating room.

• Megan (7/5): Good - The apartment was clean and the beds were really comfortable. We slept well. It is a small apartment and small bathroom to share with four people but this is normal per Tokyo standards. Location is great. There are tons of great restaurants close by. The building is in a very bad state of disrepair. In the shared halls, the walls are filthy, with graffiti on the walls. There is no security to get into the building. Fortunately, others had provided comments to this effect, otherwise, I would have turned around at entry. The state of the building was even worth than I was expecting.

It did have a heater but couldn’t work how to turn it down. No heating in the kitchen area. No where to relax really as a family of five. The apartment complex itself is so rundown. Very depressing. Also, the apartment is a long walk with suitcases from the train station.
