Guest Reviews
- Ben O'Donovan (7/5): A perfectly pleasant stay and good value for money, the shared bathrooms could do with a bit of TLC. - The location.
The simplicity of check-in and check-out.
The brightness of the room. The bathrooms were a bit tired and in need of a refresh.
- Aaron (6/5): Great location - No breakfast Milk. Water. In the fridge would be good
- Ben (7/5): -
- Baljit (8/5): Overall a comfy and convenient stay - Generally a great property, good value for money and a great location. Stayed in the ground floor flat, where we could hear every person open and close the outside door to the premises.
- Sarah (7/5): - The road was quieter than I expected. The bed was comfortable. It was clean. We didn't realise that the rooms would be completely unstaffed, but that wasn't a problem. The whole house is leaning over! The entrance was difficult to find because it wasn't on the actual main road shown in the address, but around a corner, on a side street.
- Modupe (8/5): - Locations was good. Toilet downstairs.
- Debbie (10/5): The owners were informative and the stay was enjoyable - Convenient and clean Nothing
- Sam (8/5): -
- Ataguba (6/5): -
- Nadine (9/5): A brilliant location and property with excellent hosts - The property was clean and well maintained.
There were nice extra touches which I appreciated- a mini fridge in the room so I could keep my milk cool. They supplied tea bags and coffee. A kettle was provided. A fan to cool down. Make sure you bring your own milk- there’s a convenience store less than 1 minute away.
The host was excellent with communication and helping me pre stay. I asked if I could drop my heavy bag off before checking and they accommodated my request. Things like this really help. It’s not the property’s fault but the road outside is noisy. But it’s the price you pay for this location. I had read other reviews prior to travel and so I knew to bring ear plugs. With those and my eye mask- I had a great nights sleep. The bed was v comfortable
- Sabine (4/5): -
- Claudia (5/5): - 15 minutes walk from King's cross station. Average type of accommodation for a short and cheap stay in central London.
The room was clean and towels were provided.
There was a fan in the room, which was appreciated as we travelled during a heatwave. This is a typical old building in central London, so expect uneven floors, thin walls and dusty carpet.
There wasn't any soap in the bathroom, so bring your own. In the same bathroom there were random items left from previous guests.
- Pierre (1/5): Poor ratio cost benefit. Go elsewhere. - Nothing No Air conditioning, more than 30 degrees in the room. Shared bath room (not mentioned before)
- Taye (8/5): Very good -
- Debra (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karin (8/5): Great value, clean and comfortable - The emails beforehand were very thorough and informative, friendly. Clear instructions. Very good service, with ironing board, tea, coffee, fan, and several towels. Everything was very clean which is important in shared facilities. Close to King's Cross. The heaters were on even though it was a hot day, which made the room hotter. My room was at the corner of a pedestrian crossing, with constant beeping of the lights. Quite a noisy street.
- Tom (7/5): At least the toon won the cup. - Tiny room to share with a family remember! The area around the premises was also a dump with a closed down shop underneath the place.
- Chung-hao (7/5): Good -
- Madalina (9/5): Superb -
- Tensay (7/5): Good -
- Lajos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte (7/5): Clean, reasonably priced, convenient. - The room was very clean and the location was convenient for central London. The owner was quick to respond to my messages. I was initially anxious about the entry way and security, but contacting the owner was reassuring. I felt safe throughout but it’s worth requesting a photo of the entry so it’s clear for you to find.
- Mr.komsun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ben (8/5): Very good -
- Nicole (5/5): Passable - Noisy didn’t feel safe. Just quick surface decoration.
- Gary (5/5): Passable - Basic, tiny room, good location for St Pancras. Noisy, but it's on a main street. Self check in worked ok
- Stephen (7/5): Handy location - Location is good. It's about 10 minutes walk to Kings Cross station. Places to eat nearby. The property is easy to find. The information received from the owner is very clear and makes getting into the property very easy. The bed was comfy. The property is spotlessly clean. Fridge, kettle, fan all very useful. Good storage spaces in the room. Just a bit noisy...but that's the price for being so central.
The room was extremely warm
- Miguel (4/5): Disappointing - Accesible Too small and sharing bathrooms
- Mike (7/5): Good - The bed Not being on same floor as shared bathroom
- James (4/5): Disappointing - Will do if need a cheap place for the night Owner not overly helpful.
- Robert (7/5): Good - Good location. Easy check in. With window open, lots of traffic noise.
Tea and coffee in room, but no milk.
- Anna (8/5): Very good - Check-in was easy. The location was good and felt safe. There was a fan, a small fridge, and a kettle in the room, plus some tea bags and instant coffee. I'd stay here again. My room on the top floor got very hot, despite the fan and a fully opened window (25°C outside; more like 30°C inside). The room was very small, so my suitcase took up most of the floor space. The curtains didn't fully block the very bright morning sunshine.
- Mario (8/5): Very good - Perfect position, very clear instructions on how to enter the property and the room. Room was clean and welcoming. Noisy (close to a traffic road). Could clearly hear neighbours snoring :)
Also, there's not window blinds, so light was entering the room early in the morning
- Timothy (9/5): Just what I needed. - N/A Travelling without my wife, accommodation gave me all I needed as a solo traveller wishing just to get a few hours' sleep. Just noticed no milk for the tea/coffee...
Landlord myself, in Belfast, so always interested to see how others do things. Grand job!
- Matt (7/5): Good -
- Grzegorz (8/5): Perfect for business trip. - Great location! Great that there was a kettle and free tea and coffee - saved me :) Pillows could be refreshed/new and more flat for me.
- David (7/5): Good -
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Amber (7/5): Good for the money - Very well located, decent place, clean and pleasant enough. Very good for the price for London. Sadly no ensuite, but we knew this in advance. Shared bathroom was fine.
- Tetiana (8/5): Very good - The location is convenient and easy to find, a lot of transport net near. The room, toilets, and shower rooms are clean. There are all of you need to stay for a couple of days.
- Dalma (7/5): Good - Location was great. Simple accommodation, but perfect for a budget stay in London.
- Annemarie (9/5): Superb - We had an issue & ontacted Omar.
He responded quickly & and resolved it.
Excellent position close to everything
