Guest Reviews
- Melissah (9/5): Had a great time will use again - Fantastic place great location None
- Liz (10/5): Charming and delightful mid century property. - Charm! Oodles and oodles of charm from this gorgeous mid century property. Easy entry via the lock box and the place had everything we needed. An absolutely delightful stay and I highly recommend the property. Also, the host was very gracious when I called as it was a very last minute booking. There was nothing not to like.

- Sadia (7/5): - Location
- Derek (10/5): - Everything provided was more than we have seen at any booking we have made thus far. The house was clean and easy to find. The neighbourhood has lots of great food to choose from. Nothing, the host and home were lovely.
- Rui (10/5): -
- Nerea (7/5): Nice tidy property a bit far from the waterfront - We liked that it was dog friendly . It was fine .
- Charles (8/5): -
- Bum (10/5): Sweet cottage in excellent location - Gorgeous house with thoughtful little touches eg ingredients provided for coffee, tea and even a hot breakfast. Loved the little stack of choc chip biscuits near the kettle ~ perfect refreshment on arrival after the drive. Lots of lovely white towels and complimentary toiletries, helpful notes and information about the area. Perfect green courtyard spaces both front and rear of property. A minute's walk to a strip mall of cafes, fish and chipperies, nail salon, post office, chemist and discount grocery store. This is a personal preference only ~ I would have preferred a more substantial mattress (front bedroom) eg Ecosa or similar, as my back and hips aren't in good condition.
- Melanie (9/5): Old world charm - Beautifully appointed house! Classic old school charm. Everything that was needed. Great location.
- CRAIG (10/5): Comfortable, dog-friendly holiday stay - Location was great and the accomodation provided all we needed for our family if 5 and our 2 dogs. Loved the theming of the house, took us back in time! The noise at night due to close proximity of shops, a lot of activity in the night with deliveries, rubbish collection, people coming and going from their vehicles, and a lot of cars parking out front to access shops and the nearby high school restricting access to get our car in/out of the parking bay.
- Dianne (8/5): Comfortable stay in an older style house. - It was clean warm and comfortable Fairly basic kitchen set up.
- Terry (7/5): Overall comfortable accommodation and very dog friendly. - Very dog friendly, clean, well stocked and well presented.
15 min from Geelong Showgrounds
Chris quick to respond. Even went out of her way to meet our needs for an earlier check in. Leaking kitchen tap, dirty pot with no lid to fit. Insufficient coffee and sugar, no pepper. Igniter wasn’t working for stove and no lighter. Less desirable location.

- ValleyAum (10/5): Gorgeous retro house! - Great host, amazing location, clean, comfortable, central heating was amazing, good-sized milk and brekky options were a treat!!!
I absolutely love the original charm of this beautiful house is still here. The bathroom tiles are stunning!!!
Chris replied fast to sms and was lovely to deal with.
Directions to find the house, the key, and the heating were great.
We will definitely be back 🌻
- Sharon (10/5): - Everything was good
- Phillip (10/5): -
- Debbie (10/5): -
- Gayle (10/5): The house was clean, functional and absolutely awesome if you are travelling with your Fur Baby. - It was clean and had everything you need. I liked that you could park out the back and shut the fence and the fur baby could play in either the front or back yard. Just the broken grids on the floor where the heating comes up from.
- Carol (9/5): It was great for 3 older ladies who were doing a bingo week - None of Really eat breakfast, but it was there if we wanted it.
- Geoff (9/5): Good Value - location was terrific, short stroll to many eateries including Thai and sushi train which were lovely. Spacious home. Great water pressure in shower. Neat and tidy yard areas. Good heating but a little noisy. Host allowed early check in which was very helpful. TV a bit unpredictable, very slow to respond. Kitchen needs more of a refurb. Lounge chairs, sofa and cushions need a deep clean.
- Mackay (10/5): Exceptional - Chris is a great host. The little touches were welcoming, I felt at home instantly with a well equipped kitchen. Easy check in and out and a good yard for the pooch. n/a
- Clare (8/5): Charming well appointed property and accomodating hosts. - Thoughtful presentation by hosts and nice touches by leaving breakfast items etc. Next door neighbours dog barking in the middle of the night both nights… (didn’t last too long but did disturb us)
- Ashlie (8/5): Very good -
- Wendy (9/5): Comfortable, covered all needs. Lovely host Christine. - Location handy to local shops. The Internet. Was dropping out a fair bit at night time.
- Thomas (10/5): Incredible - Absolutely incredible. The house is stunning with 3 big bedrooms, large open lounge and dining area and decent sized kitchen with everything you need and more.
My family and I had such a wonderful time here. We didn't need to venture far for food and groceries with everything at your door step. That doesn't include the food that was already provided by the owners which was so lovely of them.
Speaking of the owners, they are just so lovely. Very down to earth people that are easy to communicate with.
And the best part is that it didn't cost an arm and a leg. It was very decently priced.
My family and I have been raving about this place to our family and friends ever since we got home.
Thank you so much to the wonderful owners. We will definitely be coming back 😊😊😊
- Kelvin (8/5): Very good -
- Lee (9/5): A home away from home! - My kids loved the cereal available and it was such a convenience to have milk in fridge on arrival. We didn't do any cooking but kitchen was well equipped if we wanted to. I loved the style of the house. It really is a home away from home. Thai Restuarant 1 minute walk around the corner was amazing!
- Bianca (10/5): Exceptional - Location. Also Christine was very
- Scott (9/5): Great Accom for Family or Couples. - Loved the quaint homely feel of the 3br house. Very comfortable accommodation with well stocked pantry and comfortable living areas inside and out. Location was little out of the way from Central Geelong, but very easy to get around and visit things we wanted to see.
- Helen (9/5): Comfortable and welcoming host - Location. Service from Chris. Retro great vibes
- Kim (10/5): Wonderful place to rest and recover before starting our new lives in Tasmania! - Lovely comfy spacious clean property with secure fenced garden areas for our dogs. Really good food options just around the corner. Great walking track exercise area just across the road a little bit. Highly recommended! Locks on front door are a bit fiddly to operate but we managed just fine.
What would be good is the means to stream movies etc from our own devices to the TV, Chromecast or something similar?
- Sigrid (8/5): Perfect for travellers with furkids - Comfortable and well appointed
Ideal for travellers with furkids
Secure garden and courtyard areas
Close to a range of shops Nothing
- Vitria (7/5): Good - The location, pretty clean , dog friendly and pretty spacious. Gets pretty noisy at night , you could hear all the traffic and train.
- Sharon (10/5): Comfortable and convenient. Lovely family stay. - Great value for a family for the weekend. Thé chocolate treats were especially loved by the kids🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Could do with a sensor light at the front door to help with keys and opening door.
- Vanessa (10/5): The host was a pleasure to msg - A lovely gesture having some basic in the kitchen much appreciated. Couldn’t fault it
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - Bed was so comfy and house very cosy..close to everything and nothing was amiss
