Guest Reviews
- Burns (1/5): Awful, do not book, complete con. Worst place we've stayed, had to leave and book elsewhere!! - Nothing, just awful all round! This accommodation was by far the WORST ever experienced. The photographs in the advert all paint a very different picture to the reality. We paid about £800 for this accommodation and it was so bad we paid another £1000 to move and stay in a hotel for the remainder of the weekend. It was unsafe, dirty and not fit for rental.
We have many photos evidencing this, there are more but we have just included the main ones.
We contacted the property and all they focused on was one thing that they had fixed which was a valve on the hallway radiator but ignored everything else:
1) The heating couldn't be controlled (and was on all night) so our youngest was overheating and had to sleep in the lounge
2) The window was broken and unsafe
3) The shower hose doesn't fit the fixing so you have to hold it
4) There is a room without a door with dirty towels, laundry and someone's dirty shorts
5) The mold levels in the shower are disgusting and not acceptable for a rental
6) There was blood on the wall of our eldest's room
7) Aesthetically the photos don't show the flaws of the apartment (e.g. the big gap in the kitchen which shows a fridge/freezer in the advert but it isn't there and the lack of tiles above the sink)
8) The rugs in the photos weren't actually there and even the doors are different.
9) No TV remote for the lounge, no plug for the lamp in the master bedroom
The location isn't their fault but the smell of cannabis when entering the building was so strong, it is not close to being appropriate for a family.
We then contacted booking.com who tried to contact them twice but they have not responded to them. Booking.com have given us 20% back as credit and are still trying to contact the owners to get some actual money back from them.
Total con and the earlier reviews can not be trusted!!!
- James (3/5): It was disappointing, served a purpose. - It had wifi A lick of paint doesn't cover up broken windows, lack of seats (well a broken one), no extract fans that worked or mattresses that were well beyond their use by date.
- Richard (6/5): Good location and quiet, bit basic, needs a bit of refinement. - The location of the property was great with easy bus links to the city centre. The views were great and the place was comfortable and quiet. There were a few issues with the property in the bathroom but someone did come and fix those. The place could do with a little refining and an extra sofa in the lounge to make it more homely.
- Helen (2/5): Sadly, I was staying in London was somewhat let down by our accommodation. - Location is excellent The accommodation was strewn with faults & issues.
- Omar (7/5): Good - The kitchen was nice and the place was overall in good shape. The location was really convenient as well. The sofa-bed was not that comfortable to sleep in. The mattresses were kind of wobbly, but better than the sofa-bed. The bathroom had a weird smell, probably because it doesn't have a proper ventilation system.
- O'malley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dale (10/5): Perfect for families - Close to everything absolutely perfect Nothing
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ajay (6/5): Pleasant -
- Adham (10/5): Perfect value for what it offers. - Very nice location and nice flat. Mattresses were comfortable and even the sofa bed was quite good. Would highly recommend. Not much it’s just that the toilet and shower are in different rooms.
