The hairdryer had one heat - very hot and needs replacing.
The spacious apartment had plenty of natural light but the windows needed a more secure locking mechanism. Current setup dangerous for children.
Lack of bathroom amenities for 2 people.
- Kim (8/5): Large, clean apartment in great position close to waterfront and CBD. - Excellent position close to waterfront and CBD. Very spacious and very clean. Didn’t like the traffic noise or the stairs.
- Shoozie (10/5): Great location and a little bit of History. - The apartment was in a great location where we could easily walk down to the harbour front but also had plenty of parking when we had our hire car. The apartment was well fitted out with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The entry stairs for us were fine but may not suit everyone.

- Jacinta (7/5): Good location but very noisy traffic outside - Location to the waterfront The noise of the traffic that could be heard inside the apartment was severe. Constant traffic noise including very noisy cars exhaust sounds.
- Travis (10/5): Amazing location, historic building with beautiful internal renovation to quality modern standards. - Amazing location and roomy, modern renovation of a historic building with all the ammenities you need in house. You have a quality bottle shop and Hogs Breath Cafe right down stairs, a coffee and breakfast Cafe across the road, a short walk to Elizabeth street and Woolworths.
We had to update our booking to get in a night earlier at extremely short notice and the host arranged a clean for us at 7pm at night.
The walls of this building are really thick so the traffic noise is minimal for such a central city location. However the host left some ear plugs for those who are light sleepers and not used to traffic noise which shows you just how thoughtful they are.

- Taylor (10/5): Exceptional - Location. It's walking distance to the water front And the bedrooms were nice and spacious. There were four of us so plenty of space and didn't feel.like we was on.top.of.each.other. There are stairs to climb up to the door so probably not good for people who can't climb stairs but we didn't mind.them.

- Amy (9/5): Spacious and well priced accommodation option in Hobart city. - The property is well located, spacious and very comfortable. It is walking distance to Salamanca markets and there are plenty of places to eat that are nearby. The heating when we first arrived kept tripping the power so it was difficult to get warm initially but once the apartment warmed up it was fine.
- Catherine (9/5): Lovely spacious apartment in historic complex. - Lovely spacious apartment conversion in a historic gasworks complex close to Hobart waterfront. The owner / manager was really helpful dealing with a communication glitch that saw us arrive early. He responded quickly to requests and feedback. Some pictures in the listing show surrounding buildings and area so we did not expect fire escape type stairs to the front door of the property. I suggested this be made explicit as it is important to know. Check in and out times also listed incorrectly.

The bedrooms were always excessively hot and the coolers provided were ineffective at one point making the room even hotter.

One couple could even have 2 little children who could use the sofa bed in the lounge area off the one main bedroom. I loved that there are 2 toilets in the property. Confusing “office” sign on the wall at the front door. Spent ages in the rain trying to find the door as that sign was throwing us off. Loved the property but would recommend removing the actual (old) office/reception desk in the entrance. Not in keeping with the rest of the property.
