Il faisait 10 degrés à l intérieur , pas de chauffage , vous arrivez à 20h il fait nuit et on vous explique qu’il faut faire du feu soi même pour chauffer le chalet ! le personnel n est pas très disponible ni accommodant .
• Johannes (8/5): Great stay in the woods. - The property owner Bree contacted us well in advance with all the information we needed, location, keys, wifi, etc. so arriving at the property we had all we needed. Bree check in on us through messages several times to make sure our stay was comfortable. The cabin was spacious, well-equipped and clean. The bedding was great. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that we had to pay for firewood to heat the cabin. I'd have expected this to be included.

• Georgia (7/5): Cozy cabin with a remote feeling close to Qualicum Beach. - It had a remote feeling but civilisation was close by. We didn’t use the kitchen but the appliances were all fitted well, everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Located on a busy road so sometimes difficult to exit the drive. The BBQ was rusty and in poor condition. Having no alternative heat source and being charged for firewood.

• Negrin (9/5): Recommend for a cozy couple stary or great for a family. - Good location. Clean. Comfy beds. Authentic 'cabin in the woods' experience. It felt like you were far away, tucked into the forest. We recommend this property and would return. The firewood was a bit wet so it was challenging to get a fire going. Also, the lighter for the fire barely worked. It would be nice to have a back up or tell guests to come with an extra lighter or matches. Seeing there is no other heat source in the cabin other than the wood burning stove, it seems a bit of a stretch to charge guests for firewood.
• Leslie (9/5): This was a great place to find peace and quiet. Kind of like glorified camping. We will book again. Our ratings are base - Secluded and Peaceful without being Remote. The cabin is clean and cozy. Good bed linens and comfortable beds. Good size deck with Barbecue. We were there one night in the pouring rain so did not use this amenity. The stairs up to the loft are easy to maneuvre. Fireplace heated the cabin up quickly. We needed it as it was a cold rainy night. The one electric heater would not have done it for us. If coming in warmer weather you probably wouldn’t need the fire but it adds to the ambience. Good fridge, coffee pot(coffee &tea provided) toaster, dishes, stove (older but what you’d expect when camping). Everything worked well. Wifi was strong. We never used the TV. Just there to enjoy peace and quiet. Communication with host was excellent. Friendly and welcoming.
