• Leanne (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat - The apartment had everything you need including adequate dishwasher tablets, extra sponges, loads of toilet paper, washing powder for the washing machine, garbage bags etc. usually when we stay in other apartments we end up buying more as there is never enough. So the fact that we didn't need to stock up on these was a bonus. There was also milk and Tim tams on arrival which was a nice touch. Plus plenty of pantry items if you need them. We especially loved the spacious of the apartment and the upstairs outdoor area. The apartment was very clean and the free parking downstairs also made coming and going very easy. We were about 5 to 10 min walk to the Cairns shopping centre which had everything you need and about 10 or so minutes to the foreshore. The pool downstairs was fantastic and we generally had it to ourselves, which was nice. The area itself was fairly quiet so you could leave only the screen door open at night. And a special shout out to the host Paul, who was very responsive to all of our queries and he was very welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Cairns and hopefully we can return sometime soon too. Nothing

• Jonnie (8/5): Lovely rooftop stay! - The overall stay was lovely. Paul the host was extremely communicative and kind - answering question in advanced. His apartment guide book was thorough. Check in was very easy and the lock box was right outside the unit. The wifi worked well. The rooftop was a great place to relax and well maintained. The washer and dryer were great to clean all our adventure clothes but be advised that the dryer timer does not work and thus does not shut off the dryer. There were nice touches like Tim Tams in the fridge and beach towels in each room. The location is great if you have a car but if you are on foot, just note you will have to either take an Uber or walk a little bit to the main Esplanade. We rated this a 8.5/10 for a few reasons. The main issue we had was with the en-suite bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom was equipped with a great air conditioner but since the en-suite bathroom window could not close, the bathroom was always humid, sticky, and smelly since it could never cool / dry out. We had to shut the en-suite bathroom door to allow the air con to cool off the bedroom. This made the en-suite bathroom constantly hot, humid, and thus the smell would permeate through the door. The lighting of the living room / hallway / kitchen was harsh cool white overhead lights which can induce headaches. There was no floor lamp or table lamp in the living room which made us have to use the harsh overhead lighting. We did move a bedroom lamp into the living room and that made it more comfortable.

• Stephanie (8/5): Unforgettable rooftop memories - The mountainous view was amazing. The rooftop with the spa bath and tv was awesome and a great place for my family to spend our nights. We also loved watching the Kuranda train pass each day, now my 11 month old knows what a train is. The three bathrooms, aircon and dishwasher made life comfortable and easy. Paul was super attentive over the week and helped us out with anything we needed, he also left a cheeky pack of Tim Tams in the fridge as a welcome gift when we arrived. They were certainly appreciated. It was a little far away from the centre. If my kids weren’t under 5, I would’ve risked walking each day, however, in Cairns heat, by the time we’d have made it to the centre, they would have been exhausted, so we chose to drive to the centre each day instead. Obviously it would have been nicer to have been able to walk everywhere. The only other issue was that the beds were uncomfortable. They were soft so we woke up tired and with a sore back each day.

• Elena (10/5): - Great location and wonderful view from rooftop. Hammock and spa really make you feel like you are on holidays! Everything was clean, and apartment had everything we needed including spare linen, toiletries and pantry staples. There was enough space for our family of 5 to spread out and not be on top of each other. Paul was quick to respond to all my queries prior to arrival and checked in to make sure everything was okay once we had arrived. Highly recommend and we will definitely look to stay again on our next visit!

• Pianta (10/5): Exceptional - Great view of the mountain range from the rooftop. More than enough space to have a comfortable stay. Having a private spa and private gym equipment available at any time was very convenient. The fact that there were spare amenities such as extra trash bags was amazing as it made cleaning up so much easier. The underground basement was a bit tight but at this point that's just nitpicking.

The host Paul was accommodating for our early arrival with respect to check in! The pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable, so sleeping on the hammock was preferable over it. The only rubbish bags provided were the ones provided in the bins.

The rooftop is the highlight of the aparentemente and we spent lots of time up here cooking on the griddle and enjoying the stunning views. Dishwasher top tray kept popping out every time we used it, only a minor annoyance of course!
