• Jeremy (10/5): Serene and cozy. - It was very spacious and there was everything you needed to make it a home for your stay. It was an extremely peaceful location and even had resident rabbits and a racoon in the woods nearby. The perfect place to come back to after the adventures of the day! There was nothing we didn't like.

• Blair (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing space with warm hosts and everything you need to enjoy your stay - The property was spotlessly presented, provided privacy and lots of space and is well located in a quiet, neighbourhood with a very short walk to a nice, small beach. Even with the rainy spring weather we enjoyed exploring the area and relaxing in the property. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with dishes and basic spices to make cooking meals easy. Kathy and Gary were excellent hosts even offering assistance after our car battery needed a boost. The home baked cookies on arrival were an unexpected bonus touch.
• Margaret (10/5): A beautiful place to relax and recharge - You will get the entire house to yourself. It is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood close to the sea. You are only about 8 minutes from everything though, with a grocery store very close by. The house was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was fully stocked. Beds are very comfortable and linens and towels excellent. I loved the dark, quiet nights and beautiful views from the house. I enjoyed this stay very much. NOTHING.

I thought we might be able to see the beach from this site, and we can't. If you are looking for a view, this isn't the place. But if you are looking for a comfortable, clean place to stay in the area, this is excellent

Beds were comfy, the two bedrooms were on separate floors, and the place was very clean and tasteful. Bonus was the deck seating looking out over some green space. A small beach was a 2-minute walk away.

• Sofie (10/5): Relaxing spacious house near the beach - Beautiful house on location near the sea. It has everything you need, including highly comfy spacious beds and a sunny balcony. Moreover, the owners are very friendly and welcoming, gave us some tips on what to do in the area and responded quick to questions. Thanks for the stay! -

• Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - The house was beautiful, and comfortable, and everywhere you looked outside was gorgeous. Just steps from the ocean. So peaceful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure we were happy... which we certainly were. Wouldn't change a thing, the hosts have thought of everything and then some. Right down to the tasty muffins waiting for us when we got there.

• Carol (10/5): Well kept, adorable home in a superb location. - I really like the location of the home in a very quiet suburb in the countryside. It was just a few minutes to the beach so it was lovely to go in the morning and evening to see the change of tides. Having breakfast on the balcony watching the bunnies play in the large grass area was delightful. We went on many day trips to the surrounding towns.

We received a warm, friendly welcome from Kathy upon arrival, including delicious baked goods on the kitchen counter. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated, fully equipped with everything you need, and feels very private and peaceful. Had a glass of wine on the balcony, did a little yoga in a secluded area of trees, took a short walk to the beach. It was just delightful. We were quite busy during our stay, so our only complaint is that we didn’t get to spend enough time enjoying this lovely home. Highly recommend!! No complaints.

• Brian (10/5): Great countryside home - Great place to stay in the Cowichan Bay countryside if you're looking to get away from the city. You get the whole house to yourself and the home had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The beds and pillows were really comfortable and the home was clean. Not really dislikes but a few things to keep in mind. The bed in the main bedroom is really big and it can be a squeeze to get to one side of the bed. The second bedroom is on the ground level but the bathroom is on the upper level.
