• Di (1/5): Don't be fooled by the view - The view. The information on the booking was misleading. This owner relies on internal photos to sell their listing. There was no information prior to arrival that this was a two-Storey-walk up, and as my companion was not able to walk up stairs due to a leg injury, this egress issue was a deal breaker. We had to madly look for alternative accommodation late in the day after a long drive, Not happy. !! The second set of stairs were equivalent to fire stairs with piped handrail and large cleats in the treads, and the passageway to the unit's front door was narrow, uneven and the rail to the right low, rusty and felt unsafe as a two Storey drop to the driveway. Getting your suitcase up would have been challenging, but as mentioned we couldn't get that far. Also the parking space under the building couldn't be accessed for a medium car. Physically wouldn't fit even to drive through. To add insult to our inconvenience the owner took a cleaning fee from a grudgingly given refund saying the unit had been used. I had rung the property manager on arrival and advised our situation and told her we couldn't stay, so they were didn't use the accommodation. Integrity zero.

• Dan (4/5): OK, Assumptions led to disappointment - I think the orginal look is good with good colour scheme and generally it looks appealing There was no air conditioning The couch was uncomfortable No TV in the main room The house was just hot The whole building and parking is shabby Its up on a hill so its a steep walk up and down to the beach The bathroom is old The whole apartment was overall just a bit down at heel Windows and doors all dont shut well and bugs come in. Look, overall it was fine and for the price point it was fine. It was that feeling of being misled by photos when the reality was so different. Its up two flights of stairs in a shared block and if you are a traveller on a budget its fine, if you want somewhere nicer and more comfortable then we should have stayed somewhere else. I just think some photos of the outside to make it really clear you are staying in like a 1950's or older apartment complex would of been helpful. Also to show that the block is on top of a hill. At the end of the day it is on me for not doing more google searching and explicitly asking. I just didn't think to ask for Aircon and that it would be cool and that it was completely insect proof etc. They have a business to run and their job is to show their place in the best possible light and I get that. The consequences of that decision is that this review is not going to be glowing. I would recommend it to people on a budget, people who like things that are a bit more worn and like to be away from the hustle and bustle of being near main st and who don't mind a steep walk up and down to the beach.
• Clayton (8/5): Well located to beach and local Kirra restaurants - Location was fantastic and well located to the function I was attending which was the main reason for booking this property. Room wasn't ready at agreed time. Cleaner was still inside cleaning room. Had to wait 15 minutes for cleaner to finish. Cleaner was friendly and apologetic but had thought the booking was for the following day.

• Brianna (7/5): Perfect location, relaxing apartment. - Absolutely amazing location, the apartment was clean and cute little place to stay. Had a few design features that were different and cool like the shower and chair in the lounge room. Would stay again. No aircon is a stinger, especially with the sun beaming in the afternoon. Opening the windows and doors with the fans on kept the place a little cooler.
