• Quiro (5/5): Great staff, but poor management turned a promising stay into a stressful experience – 5/10. - While our stay had enjoyable moments, unfortunately, our overall experience with Molca Xperiences was overshadowed by the owner’s behavior. Let me start with the positive: The employees and associates we interacted with throughout our trip were exceptional—friendly, responsive, and truly 5-star service. They went above and beyond to help coordinate transportation, experiences, and ensure we were comfortable. For that, we’re genuinely grateful. However, the attitude and approach of the owner left a lot to be desired. Eager to complete payment upon arrival Friday evening, I submitted the full amount via bank transfer to the first account they provided. Immediately after making the transfer, I sent them the payment confirmation, and they acknowledged it with a “thank you.” The next day, Saturday, they began pressuring us to make an additional full payment via credit card—with a 5% surcharge—because the original transfer had not yet appeared in their account. They threatened that we wouldn’t be allowed to leave the property if we didn’t comply. At that point, they highlighted that their payment instructions stated external bank transfers were not accepted. Oops—my mistake. I acknowledged this oversight and explained that the funds would appear on Monday, as expected with interbank transfers. I also provided additional proof and bank references to support this. Despite that, our explanations were ignored, and the threats continued. To avoid further conflict during our short weekend getaway, we conceded and made the additional payment. The whole situation created unnecessary stress during what should have been a relaxing trip. While they did refund the duplicate payment once the original transfer posted Monday morning—just as we had communicated would happen—the situation could have been handled with much more professionalism and trust. At no point during or after the ordeal did the owner offer an apology for the stress caused.
• Maria (10/5): Overall we made it work. And still will give them a good review. - Accessibility, close to the airport and centralized. It was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and flexible. No AC and the mattresses were not comfortable. Hot water was not working properly.
• Davide (10/5): Very nice but.... - We had a great stopover. The apartment was exactly as advertised. Very spacious, bright and spotlessy cleaned. The staff are really nice, Leonardo was very caring and helpful. The security guards and the life guard in the pool were also very friendly. We book again few days after, as we were still in the area, and although on Booking.com website the reservation was confirmed, they contacted us on WhatsApp telling us the they had some technical issues and they went on overbooking and cancelled our reservation. They were very unprofessional and rude. Also according to other reviews on booking.com it is something that it happens quite often with the way they handle reservation. Overall I would not trust the seriousness of this company as they may tell you that your reservation is cancelled on the day of your arrival.
