- Jude (10/5): Tranquil, comfortable river-side house surrounded by beautiful Australian bush - Beautifully tranquil location and comfortable characterful accommodation with a well-equipped kitchen, huge covered balcony overlooking the tree-lined Hawkesbury river. The sauna deck was something I didn’t know I needed until now! Jake and Natasha are delightful hosts - friendly, helpful and they went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. A highlight was trekking half an hour through the bush to the old ‘dam’, an icy-cold plunge pool that we had to ourselves.

- Emma (10/5): Stunning natural retreat on the Hawkesbury - Kalighat River House exceeded our expectations! Set in Australian bushland with gorgeous water views, it was the ideal combination of adventure and relaxation. We spent our days fishing (caught Flathead, Bream and Blue Swimmer Crabs), hiking, and puzzling. Both hiking to the natural thermal pools and having BBQs with our fresh catches were highlights of our stay. Kalighat's host Jake was incredibly kind and helpful, he has built something very special on the river. Our dog Luna had the time of her life too! This spot is definitely worth coming back for - next time we can't wait to try the sauna precinct.
- Natalie (10/5): A unique and memorable experience with our gorgeous hosts Jake and Natasha who went out of their way to turn our 3 night - Beautifully designed with magical views, a huge deck, a very well stocked kitchen, comfortable and unique furniture and lots of entertainment. Loads of space for a family of 4. The book collection alone is extraordinary Nothing to dislike.

Jake, the host was very sweet, welcoming and knowledgeable about the place and its history. He took care of our every need with perfection and also showed us the surrounding Islands and waterfall. The stay exceeded my expectations in all manner. The Sauna was the highlight for us. Pretty much everything was up to the mark.

To be in a quiet place, enjoying the view and relaxing a lot with the Sauna, the deck and vibe was amazing . Our host was friendly and helpful. We could go for a nice walk to see the Dan and had a swim ! We will come back for sure ! Thanks for the amazing experience :) Nothing
