Check in is too late(16:00). The norm is 14:00.
We had to put our luggage in storage.
Dishwasher didn’t work properly (tablet dispenser)
Mattress in one bedroom too soft (maybe old?)
Not enough clothing hangers (the few there are a cheap mix - get the same nice wooden hangers)
- Marc (4/5): Book for the view and location, not for the quality, the service and the price. - Location is convenient for visiting East of London, easy access from/to the City via buses 76 and 141.
The spectacular view on part of the City of London' s buildings. Despite the help (not so responsive) from Edi, we had an overall negative experience with Penthouse AC:
- No flexibility to put our luggages to the receptionist before entry time. Negative consequence: we had to carry them during our visits in London from 10am to 4 pm (Note: the "solution" was to rent a luggage store, which was not budgeted)
- Heating system not functioning. Negative consequence: 13 degrees C in the main room and the guest room - had a bad sleep.
- 3 forks for 4 people. No salt. Negative consequence: we could enjoy our meals as normally expected. We received the cutlery set the day before leaving
- Cannot close the window of the bathroom. Negative consequence: the bathroom was cold.
- 2 bed lights not functioning. Edi said someone is going to come to fix both the window bathroom and the lights issues, which did not happen
- Wifi codes were not available in the flat. Negative consequence: we had to contact the owner to get this information.
- The telephone number +44 7747 374601 is not valid. Negative consequence: we were not able to fix the temperature issue in a timely manner.
This is not worth the money spent. We are asking for partial refund from Booking.com
- Geneve (7/5): Good - terrace and the veiws were stunning. only issue was oven wasn’t working
