• Priscilla (9/5): Fabuleux, à refaire très très très bientôt ! - J'ai tout aimé du studio que j'occupais, très propre, paisible, reposant, bien équipé aussi. Bref, tout était comme il faut. C'est avec le cœur serré que je l'ai quitté pour retourner au Cameroun. L'hôtel est très bien situé (Rosebank Avenue), dans un environnement très sécurisé et avec de belles attractions dans les environs.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially when I made a mistake with my booking dates while trying to extend my stay. They went out of their way to assist me and quickly sorted everything out with such professionalism and patience. I truly appreciate their support and the excellent customer service. • Joslin Sita (1/5): Very disappointed - The hotel is close to Rosebank Mall. Good location I was very disappointed with my sister's stay at this hotel. There was visible humidity on the ceiling near the window. When the cleaner came, she said the floor was already clean, so she only cleaned the bathtub. She did not change the bedsheets or pillowcases. At the restaurant, I was shocked to find a cockroach in the buffet area for 2 days. It was very unhygienic. On top of that, there was no drinking water provided in the room, not even a single bottle, which is unacceptable for a hotel. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service or the cleanliness. This hotel needs serious improvement in hygiene and customer care.

• chris (8/5): Amazing choice for budget conscious travellers - The room was huge, the aircon was very good. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets were spotless. Rosebank is a great area in Johannesburg. Breakfast in the cafe next door was good. The building is, in general, quite tired. It looks to be an Art Nouveau/Art Deco era building, and as such, has a lot of interesting design touches and style. It would benefit greatly from a restrained refresh/renovation. To complain feels a bit unfair, though, as the cost of staying there was outstanding, especially when compared to other hotels in Rosebank.

The area is a bit suspect especially at night you don't feel comfortable and safe being outside as you see many intoxicated people and guys on corners looking like they sell illegal things and make shady deals. The area where breakfast is served is also used as a shebeen/bar at night and the place was filthy with broken doors and worn tables and chairs. The breakfast was not worth it and the hygiene is questionable.

The room was very big and comfortable, a kitchen with all the necessary equipment was available, the bathroom is also big. The staff was cordial and friendly. Really liked and recommend it The breakfast which is included in the reservation is served in the restaurant attached to the hotel and it could be better, unfortunately one of the days I found an insect in the coffee and the coffee itself seemed to be old (prepared days better and reheated everyday) But the options are good and there is a person cooking eggs and some other things as per your request which is very good
