Guest Reviews
- Colten (1/5): - Nothing couldn't acess room
- Abid (1/5): DO NOT BOOK - It was absolutely horrible. We have to leave right away and book a hotel. My kids were unable to breathe because of the smell and poor condition of the apartment. I canceled it and they communicated free cancellation but charged us.
- Dana (7/5): Great value for great location - Location was great! Beds were a bit uncomfortable for our liking.
- Ashley (4/5): Not what I expected - Location was good. Place was very clean. Had everything one needs Outdated, needs upgrades. Where do I start. The microwave did not work.... Or it possibly did but the outlets in the whole entire wall did not work. I tried to use the toaster and had to move it to a different outlet; this is how it was discovered that it was the outlets that did not work.
I set my phone on the bedside table and the table collapsed... It was not put together or attached; my husband had to fix it.
I tried to open the cabinet door in the bathroom and it was not attached at the top. Everything looked good, but on closer inspection it was in need of some improvements.
If I turned the lights on in one bedroom the other one would go on in the other. But only one room would control the other.
- Morin (8/5): - Suite set up , stocked kitchen Parking not in building ,
- Guest (7/5): -
- Donna (6/5): It was a real eye opener as to the situations people can get into when they put their trust and safety into believing th - It was the size we needed for 2 Adults and 2 children
For our trip it was close to both locations we needed to attend The information was not released until 4:00pm about the check in at the location. Which was difficult for us to manage due to parking mostly.
The instructions were not clear for us to follow correctly without some major hurdles especially upon checkoutđ€Šđ»ââïž
We do not live in the city so there was a lot to navigate.
Construction in the alleyway was noisy as well as impeded the âPaidâ parking spots, for 2 days. The City workers digging up the parking lot, apologized, saying that the owners were informedđ€·đ»ââïž
The âundergroundâ parking spot for the unit ,is in the adjacent building with an opening height of 6â 2â, which our Ford F150 pickup would not fit. When we inquired we found out that street parking is not allowed,8-8pm dailyđ€Šđ»ââïž
The building Alarm system maintenance testing was another issue, from 9:30-10:30ish am, over 20 deafening shrills sounded, for 3-5 seconds long, each! Understandably things happen beyond our control but with some notification, we could have been better prepared and not âshaken to our coreâ, when the alarms started! We had no idea what or why they were sounded!? What do we do? Evacuate!? That seemed like a smartest idea without any other information as to what and why the alarms were going off!!!
In both cases the owners were notified but we were not!

- Mary Ann (8/5): A nice unit - The room itself was very nice. The view was stunning. Love the layout of the unit. Good for a family or group of 4 to 6 people. Parking is in another bldg. In summer no issues but because it was -30 + the whole week we stayed we were freezing cold getting to the parking bldg.everyday.
- Diane (10/5): Good location quiet and safe - Clean and comfortable The parking was a little confusing
- Nancy (8/5): -
- Jaidyne (10/5): -
- Carolyn (5/5): - It was clean for how old the property is. The place had everything you need available. Itâs downtown. Hard to park and bad driving area. A transient area. The garage parking was closed, there was another however the car clearance height is 6â2 and I did not fit with my Tahoe. I had to park on the street, paid parking. Not too pricy, but it was cold and couldnât plug in. The air bnb offered to pay but its wasnât much, but if you donât pay you get ticketed easily which I didnât. The parking areas are hard to make sense of times and such. In all a pain in the butt.

- Kim (8/5): Great for a central location stay. - Spacious, well equipped kitchen. Host was very responsive. Check in wasn't very smooth. The host is a company vs. an individual so there is a whole other check in process outside of what you would expect from Booking.com. Had to re enter payment, fill out a waiver and complete a separate check in process. The website wouldn't update properly so had to contact the host a few times to get check in instructions. They were very attentive however and made sure the rest of check in and the experience went well.
- Peter (8/5): -
- Musa (10/5): Worth every penny - Good location easy access to almost everything The parking area
- Justin (10/5): - Very well equipped and comfortable to stay. Quite close to a lot of places and easy enough to get to via public transport.
Host was incredibly friendly and helpful at all times.
Would definitely book again
- Johny von Milde (5/5): - The apartment was very nice, clean, and spacious. The location was perfect, with a beautiful view of Edmonton from the balcony. Free parking was also available. Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review, even though the apartment itself was very clean, nice, and spacious â due to the check-in process.
To be honest, checking into this apartment was quite problematic and at times felt like solving a puzzle.
First of all, the check-in was done through a confusing and troublesome third-party website, where I had to upload sensitive personal information, including my ID, date of birth, and â most concerning â my credit card details to an unverified platform. A relatively high deposit (500 CAD) was frozen on my account simply for booking the accommodation, which I find very unfair.
The check-in instructions were misleading, incomplete, and unclear. We didn't receive proper information about how to access the garage or how to open the garage doors. Without completing all the required fields on the external website, it would have been impossible to enter the apartment.
The host communicated only via the Booking.com app and not through more direct or convenient platforms like WhatsApp, which made communication more difficult.
Overall, the check-in felt like a riddle and was by far the most negative part of the entire experience. We spent over an hour just trying to find the correct parking spot based on poorly written instructions. Honestly, if that unnecessary check-in website didnât exist, the whole stay would have been much better.
- swati (9/5): The apartment was neat and clean and very cozy in the evening. Jae was extremely helpful and responsive at any time of t - It was located close to the legislature grounds, so we had a good view of the fireworks on Canada Day and was close to the University of Alberta. We were also walking distance from some really good restaurants. The gym was good and the laundry room was clean. The apartment was also neatly kept when we arrived and Jae was extremely helpful and efficient when we had queries, at any time of the day! It was mentioned on booking.com that the apartment had AC, but it was not working so we had to keep all windows open even during the night and keep the fan running to feel cool. Also, we were told that the place was located right next to Rogers Arena which wasnât true because the only view we had was of the apartment building in front of us. The laundry card had approximately 13.68 CAD even though Jae said it had 15 CAD. To add more funds we had to pay a minimum of 10 CAD. The tide pods were limited too. The oven did not heat the food properly, despite preheating it beforehand, resulting in us trying to reheat our food several times.
- Proceso (10/5): The property is excellent in everything. We will surely stay again here in the future. -
- Peteris (8/5): Very good - Clean, nice apartment in city centre. House itself is time-worn but I guess thatâs not apartment owners fault. High commission - even higher than the stay fee
- Karima (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mazur (4/5): Disappointing -
- Alona (8/5): Perfect to stay for couple of night, excellent location. - Good location, excellent communication
- Curtis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neil (8/5): Very good - Light weight net curtains in the lounge area. Sunlight made it very difficult to watch TV, and it also gave no privacy when dark. The curtains in bedrooms didn't block out the light at night. Black out blinds or better fitting curtains would make sleeping easier.
- Tran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karyna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional - The beds are really comfy . Very clean apartment with everything you need. We had a problem with the toilet, which was sorted out immediately. Great location. We will definitely stay again.
- Champ (10/5): We stayed somewhere that can be called home for 3 days in downtown Edmonton - Very clean and comfortable place to spend nights. Neighbours were quiet, and the hosts prepared various board games for us to enjoy! Took us some time to figure out the parking for the first time, but it was fun for a little discovery!
- Jenn (7/5): We would return! - Great location, close to downtown, and a few minutes walk to transit. Unit it located in a high rise building - which is old, but the unit was clean and the bathroom was updated. Residents of the building were friendly.
Owners very responsive to inquiries. Parking was not fun at all, and quite a hike from the building - though this is due to ongoing renovations. We could not find a cart to help us unload. I highly recommend unloading your vehicle in front of the building
- Brian (9/5): Superb - Very nice apartment Noise level in and around building. Homeless population in area made returning from subway at night slightly uncomfortable with family.
- Boyd (3/5): Overpriced but good location; pictures very flattering of a dumpy college dorm - Beds were comfortable Found live bugs on Beds; TV would not cast Apple products and had no sports channels (couldnât watch Oilers game during Stanley cup finals that they were in)
Building is nearly falling down and parade is an inconvenient wreck
Coffee maker broke and agency wouldnât fix.
- Duchow (10/5): Great stay - Clean open space Nothing
- Padhraic (6/5): Great location, geat support. - Great location and super support from the team. So sad that the building was having a problem with the heating. It would be good if the property description made clear that the washer and dryer are in the basement and not in the apartment.
- Tuan (1/5): Bad -
- Terry (8/5): Very good -
- Shaelyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tina (10/5): We didnât stay long but it was just what we needed - The apartment was very clean and great location The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke
- Allen (8/5): Very nice apartment. Exactly as depicted in photos and text. 12th floor with balcony. -
- Rakesh (3/5): Poor - We requested early check in at 3 p.m., however, keys were not available even at 4 p.m. We had to call and they had to gave us few different codes before we can access the lock box. The parking was terrible due to construction and its location. They promised us that they will send a gift card for all that inconvenience - which we never received!
The TV never worked throughout the stay. It seems they might be using same Netflix account at various locations. Called them several times and they tried different ways to make it work over the phone but it didn't - we finally gave up! Better access, parking and TV
- Teresa (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (10/5): Super happy over all - $5 Uber to Rogers place and Sabor restaurant (the best restaurant in Edmonton) - Clean, good location, good instructions, nice touch having bottled water. Canât park your truck as the parkade was super low, I only have a regular truck.
- Moyan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lei (10/5): Here is very comfortable and everything is very clean. - the owner of the house has very good education and he is very smart on set up his home. There are lots of books in his home that may mean he loves reading.
