Guest Reviews
- Rachel (8/5): - Best thing about the location was close to a subway station and the Market close by was great for dinner. Downtown LA was a very uncomfortable part of the city to walk around after dark. The windows are very thin and the street is very noisy, although ear plugs were supplied ( which I can't wear) so i didn't sleep very well.

- Julian (8/5): Pros: fast WiFi, near food and offices. Cons: noisy and sketchy area. - The layout and comfort was great, host was great too. WiFi was fast and place was clean. Close to a lot of food. Not too much of a problem for me since I’m a heavy sleeper, but the noise from the outside bleeds into the house. You could hear sirens and people chattering all night. The host must be aware of this because he left ear plugs which is a nice consideration. I would suggest sound dampening curtains and decor that would greatly reduce the noise bleeding in. Also the area is sketchy, but nothing host can do about that.
- alfred (7/5): Good place to stay downtown. - The apartment was adequate for two people. It was clean and had the facilities we needed. It was close to transportation. There were many restaurants in the area. The owner was very responsive to questions that we had. The apartment is designed for tall people. We are short (5'5" and 4'11") and another 6 inches on both of us would have been helpful. The area is very "urban" which was not a problem for us, but some people might find it intimidating. It was safe.
- Gino (8/5): It was a nice time - Clean, private Very noisy at night. To be expected in a Downtown setting, but it was a little too loud
- Ilaria (10/5): - Dev è una persona estremamente disponibile e attenta, risponde subito ai messaggi. L’appartamento è arredato benissimo e c’è tutto il necessario. Tutto perfetto.
- Kiri (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay here - the place is in walking distance to everything you need (bus, metro, restaurants, coffee shops) and it has everything you need for your stay. Dev went above and beyond for us - couldn’t be more grateful and can definitely recommend the place to everyone who wants to explore LA. Thanks again for everything, Dev!

- Tunia (7/5): Good - I loved how comfortable the apartment felt. The bed slept very well!!! The location had my anxiety at an all time high when stepping out the building. It’s surrounded by suspicious people, and homeless people, along with your everyday people! I didn’t like the inconvenience of walking back and forth to the garage for parking. I was unable to access the roof top.
- Jamie (9/5): Superb - The rooftop area was nice although there’s no pool only jacuzzi
- Niko (8/5): Very good -
- Joshua (1/5): The host cancelled my stay at the last minute and did not refund my money. -
- Sally (10/5): Amazing spot and would stay here again! - Great location, enjoyed the hot tub, AC was perfect, they saged the house which was awesome, the bathroom was great, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I also appreciated how responsive Dev was the entire time! We would absolutely stay here again. We accidentally locked ourselves out (super smart) and Dev saved the day! 10/10 customer service. Nothing - everything was great.
- Jamie (9/5): Superb -
- Harvey (4/5): Disappointing -
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - Best kitchen amenities in any accommodation I've stayed at!! I was thoroughly amazed at how there were baking trays, oven mitts, a can opener and other basic utensils.
A Brita filter jug, ketchup and butter were included in the fridge and Pantene shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Dishwashing liquid and a sponge as well as a First-Aid Kit and an iPhone charger and plug were also included- all of this was amazing and unexpected.
Plenty of space, a comfy bed, amazing views of DTLA and the famous US Capitol building from the bed and the rooftop terrace at night!
Modern TV able to access Netflix and YT
Dimmable lights and fast WiFi
Well-furnished and industrial-themed decor, creating a homely and cozy vibe
Very friendly host who replied to my questions instantaneously
Very close to the popular attraction in DTLA, Perishing Square Subway Station and a 3-minute walk to Bus 460 to Disneyland
Definitely will go back when visiting LA next time! At times in the late evening and occasionally in the middle of the night, I could hear people yelling/screaming from outside. It awoke me once but was able to fall back asleep instantly as the bed was so comfy.

- Amanda (7/5): Good location and comfortable space. Clean and minimalist. - The place was clean and sparse yet handsomely furnished. Kitchen was decently equipped with essentials. Lovely, spacious bathtub. I was quite disappointed to find that the hot tub wasn’t working. Or if it was, I didn’t find the instructions to turn on the heat. Found the jets but the water was cold so my dream of rooftop tubbing - the main reason I hooked this place- was sadly not realized. Fortunately the extra large bathtub in the apt saved the day.
- Sari (10/5): Urban Charm apartment is cozy, perfect for an LA visit for a couple, great location. - The location was fantastic. Right around the corner from my daughter's apartment, the reason I chose this location. The Grand Central Market is just a few steps away with so many food choices for everyday of the week. Very walkable apartment location to Whole Foods, CVS. Tons of buses to get around. I do cook, so perhaps more cooking tools would've been nice, ei; measuring cups & spoons.
Although there was instant coffee, a real coffee maker would be a big plus!
