• Valérie (10/5): - L'accueil et les conseils de Massimo, l`îlot de calme en plein centre de Naples, déco agréable. Ajouter quelques ustensiles de cuisine (mais à part ça, tout était parfait).
• Derek (9/5): Excellent location and good value, but be careful on the stairs - Our host, Massimo was extremely friendly and helpful, responding right away to our questions. The apartment is ideal for a short stay in Naples old town for two persons. Despite the constant activity on Via dei Tribunali the apartment was quiet. The location on the 3rd floor (two flights of stairs) was a bit of a challenge. The elevator wasn't working (Massimo warned us ahead of time but we decided to book anyway due to the location and reasonable cost per night). The stairs are wide and well constructed but poorly lighted. The overhead lighting came on at 6 PM which is probably OK for summertime but at the end of October at 5 PM they were quite dark. We asked out host, Massimo, about it but it was out of his control.

• John (10/5): - Our host was fantastic. He sat down with us and told us a bit about Naples and places to go. The apartment is very central and an easy walk to meet various tours. The apartment was well equipped and we had a great stay.

• Karin (9/5): - Great location on one of the main streets in the old town. Massimo is very proud of his city and will make sure you‘re well prepared to explore it. While, as others have written, the building might not look welcoming from the outside, it feels very safe and comfortable inside. The apartment is cosy and has everything you need. Nice bathroom too. Massimo takes good care of everything. Very clean plus cooking essentials provided. Facing the inner courtyard, you won‘t be disturbed by outside noise.

Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti e ci ha illustrato i vari punti di interesse della città consigliandoci anche dei buoni posti in cui mangiare! L'appartamento è molto accogliente e ha tutto ciò che serve. Ottima posizione, il punto in cui è collocato è molto strategico trovandosi in una delle vie principali del Centro Storico di Napoli! Tutto perfetto!

The apartment is positioned very well in the middle of the old city centre, but you hear almost none of that in the appartment. Nothing. Everything was good!

Extremely secure, very quiet, a few steps away from bars and restaurants and within easy reach of amazing historic treasures in nearby churches and museums. Naples is a rich cultural experience: food, wine, art, sculptures, architecture and of course an amazing archaeology treasure trove (for example at the nearby national archaeological museum). Massimo, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful on arrival providing useful pointers on how to get the best out of your stay. Thoroughly recommended. Nothing

The apartment is in an excellent location in the heart of the historical centre.Surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars. The apartment itself is spotless clean and has a well equiped kitchen. The bed is extremely comfortable and large, with lovely linen and super comfy pillows. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely stay here again.

• Michael (9/5): Superb - The host was there on arrival and was so helpful and friendly. The place was incredibly clean and tidy and the beds were super comfortable!! The apartment was spacious and in a great location! There are quite a few flights of stairs to get up to the apartment which was initially a bit of a struggle with the luggage but after this was fine. The shower clogged up slightly but otherwise the shower and bathroom was great!

Very clean, has many extras - good kitchen, washing machine etc. Hats off to Massimo - one of the best hosts we've had on the platform - always kind, replies fast, and checks in regularly to see if we need anything. • Claire (10/5): Comfortable and quiet central apartment with a kind host - Very central location in the lively, historic part of the city next to the Duomo The apartment was quiet however, being inside the courtyard area. The owner, Massimo, met us on site to give us the keys, to tell us about the local area and answer any questions - he was very kind and helpful. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and has a washing machine if you need it. Also, just to note that the bar right across from the building entrance (Bruno) does excellent bruschetta and breakfast pastries. As others have mentioned the central area of Naples is very busy and a bit dirty. Parts have quite an edgy feel at night. The outside entrance doors to the building are covered in graffiti (like lots of others) which is a little off putting at first, but it's fine inside and feels very secure. The apartment is on the second floor up about 60 steps, so not great if you have to carry large bags or struggle with mobility. It's probably also worth mentioning that the bedroom is down a few steps if you have to get up in the night etc.

It was very quiet, windows looking to the inner courtyard. Massimo was friendly, discreet and communicative. Maybe a bit warmer in the apartment.
• Arthur (10/5): Good value for money apartment in a central buzzy location in the historic area. - The apartment was relatively newly renovated, clean and comfortable. It was ideal for our 30 day stay. Massimo looked after us very well and he and his son carried our luggage up and down for us as I am an 80 year old with a weak back. We had apartment number 2 and the steps down to the bedroom were a bit tedious after a while. Next time I will insist on the other apartment.

The landlord Massimo was very flexible with our check-in and check-out, also gave us lots of recommendations for visiting Naples. Very welcoming and personal, which is very unusual in these days. • Środa (9/5): Fantastic host, discreet, helpful. Unique location. Highly recommended! - The location is very central - perfect for visitors who prefer to walk and to feel the atmosphere of the town which, I have to admit, is exceptional. The great asset is that it is very quiet there - we slept with our window open, and it was perfectly fine - the sound of people in the street sounded very, very distant - but we were so close, in fact. You go outside, turn left, and the next museum hosts a masterpiece by Caravaggio. You go outside, turn right, and in three minutes you are standing next to Banksy's Madonna. Such things can happen in Naples only, and only in Via dei Tribunali! Well, the lift did not work - so walking upstairs with heavy bags wasn't relaxing - two floors up (which felt like three or three and a half floors) - but, on the positive note, it was some good workout :) We liked the note on the lift's door: I DON'T WORK :)
