• Sebastian (10/5): - Fajna lokalizacja, super taras na którym można było się zrelaksować. Wejście na 4 piętro w tak ciasnej klatce schodowej było bardzo uciążliwe.
• Martin (8/5): pleasant, well located small apartment with terrace up quite some stairs - This is a perfectly pleasant small apartment on the top floor of a relatively old building - left and right modernised ones are sprouting up, one can see that the area is up and coming and there are a wealth of hipster cafes and restaurants just around the corner and easy access to the beach. The terrace is indeed an asset for those who love the sun and there is a generous amount of furniture on the terrace (small table with 2 chairs, 2 sunbeds plus two armchairs). This is clearly a loft conversion (nothing wrong with that of course), however, you can hear the neighbour's every move. It's up three flights of very narrow stairs (that was advertised but the stairs are so narrow that you need to carry your luggage either in front of you or behind you, I had a suitcase, that was a mistake). Bathroom and kitchen are tiny (and I mean tiny), if you are obese you will struggle. The wardrobe has a rather odd partition (you can hang two coats or 5 shirts and everything else needs to be folded). The terrace has a bird shit problem, whilst there is not much the landlord can do it might be worth thinking about providing a cover for the table and chairs? (or at least some gloves and utensils to clean?)
• Pui Sun (8/5): Quirky rustic charm, but with some issues - Amazing private patio overlooking the street where you can hear all the activity from nearby Rambla de Poblenou, fun authentic rustic beach house vibe. Many things that you wouldn't put up with at a hotel are normal for this kind of quirky authentic old style Spanish home, and part of its charm. After the first few times, the stairs get easier as you get used to it. Great location, around the corner from Rambla de Poblenou. Unfortunately, I have to deduct a point for the following: Very steep narrow stairs that are barely wide enough for a carry-on suitcase with inconsistent sized steps, some much narrower than normal adult feet as shown in my photos, so are a bit scary, AC dripped randomly a significant amount of water making a puddle near the bed , extremely loud construction noise next door from demolition each morning. You hear lots of drilling and hammering of cement, and falling concrete, plus workers talking loudly. Sometimes so loud, it hurts your ears. I know this is temporary and not the listing's fault but it doesn't seem like new construction that just started, and seems to be an ongoing renovation, and there should be a construction warning to guests during this period. I am being nice and not taking off another point as I know the accommodation has limited control over this. Finally, while I understand the rustic, imperfect look is part of the appeal of this type of housing, there's a big brown stain over the bed that seems like previous water damage, and should be painted over.
• Jonathan (7/5): It was pleasent but overshadowed with some minor inconvenieces - Property was already ready on arrival. Keys were collected instantly. It smelled very bad when arriving, and it was also very cold. We kept the heating on as long as we could, but it wouldn't warm up sufficiently.
• Omar (8/5): Very good - It was very nice and comfortable, and in good condition. The streets around had a lot of good restaurants. There was no elevator and it is on the last floor up so had to carry the bags all the way to the top.

• Kyra (1/5): Awful - I thought it was cute on the website When I arrived the owner didn’t have the place ready. The cleaners arrived the same time we did. Additionally, it’s on the top floor with no elevator about 9 floors of stairs. When confronted with this information I told the owner I couldn’t stay here because I was with my elderly mother (62) and she can’t do the stairs. Instead of a refund he told me it wasn’t possible and his customer service was horrible. 0/10 don’t recommend

• Lihan (4/5): - It has a good geographical location and complete infrastructure. 1. The room is located on the top floor of the building (which is the fifth floor). The staircase is very narrow and there is no elevator, which is not very convenient for luggage or large items. 2. The smell of sewage from the bathroom is extremely strong. A bag filled with water needs to be placed over the drain to prevent the smell from coming up. 3. The biggest problem is the washing machine. It seems that it has never been cleaned before, and the inside is full of dirt and fiber debris. I spent four hours, in two sessions, using two doses of washing machine cleaner to clean and disinfect it at high temperature. Eventually, I managed to get a usable washing machine. However, after my cleaning, I believe other guests will have a relatively clean washing machine.

• Eva (8/5): - Die Lage ist super, Supermärkte und viele Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Gegend ist ruhig (Oktober) und hat alles was man braucht. Bus ins Zentrum ist ca. 250m entfernt. In wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strand. Für Urlaub zu zweit ist das Apartment völlig OK. Das Treppenhaus ist sehr eng. Das Bad im Apartment ist ebenfalls ziemlich klein und eng, was für große Menschen etwas umständlich ist. Ablagefläche ist auch nicht wirklich vorhanden. Aber abgesehen davon, hat das Apartment alles was man braucht.

• Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the location. The terrace was wonderful. Bed comfortable, shower pressure great, loved our stay. Communication was brilliant throughout the stay. Everything was thought of to make your stay more enjoyable. Didn't love the steps, worth the climb, but something to be aware of.

Everything you need which has given us ideas for our air BnB’s. Comfy bed and nothing was too much trouble. If you needed anything the people running it would reply in minutes. As everyone has said lots of steps to get there so you have to be quite fit but we were fine. It’s a top floor property but worth it.

• Martyn (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, comfy, well equipped and very tastefully decorated apartment! The apartment is small, but was perfect for 2 of us for 5 days. Had everything you needed there - Aircon/Heating machine, washing machine, coffee pod machine, very comfy euro double bed, ample shelves for clothes, and lots more. Also have a really nice terrace area, although we didn't use it as the weather was a bit wet and chilly. The location too is fantastic in a really classy area with plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes, bakers and grocery shops all within 2-3 minutes walk. Beach was also only a 5 minute walk and good bus and underground connections. Also finally Joel the agent was great for helping us with questions about the area and anything else we needed. Would highly recommend! Can't really fault the apartment, area or service from the agent at all.. We will definitely be back to stay here at some point, as it's such a nice apartment/area/service. Only thing to be mindful of is up a few flights of narrow stairs, so not ideal for reduced mobility, but not a bother if not! Also the boiler is quite small, so don't take too long in the shower as we did run out of hot water.. but again, not a big deal if you're conservative/you know!

• Nicky (10/5): Amazing made us fall in love with Barcelona more! Perfect perfect perfect! - I absolutely loved the aesthetic of the apartment! We loved the patio and how many amenities they were especially for a small apartment! We were truly Surprised about that. The location was PERFECT! So central to everything. The customer service was amazing !!! The host was so wonderful and so helpful and very quick and responsive! We definitely will be visiting again!!! The only downside was the no lift and the surprise of their being 5 flights of stairs hahahah but totally worth it! I didn’t have to carry the luggage so it was okay for me hahahaha but my partner was still very happy to return despite the no lift either!

• Simon (7/5): Poble Nou Apartment - Spacious. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Great walkable neighborhood.Easy hi tech access. Four flights of steep narrow stairs. Large shower in a tiny bathroom. Had to dry off in the kitchen. Pricey. Could have at least put some bottled water in the fridge.

• Rick (10/5): Perfect - The appartment was fantastic, we had everything we needed. Close to the see, some really great restaurants in the "ramblas" located next to the appartement. It is a great neighbourhood to enjoy your holiday, it is less touristic as the centrum of Barcelona, with a great atmosphere, and really kind people everywhere. For me it brought a new dimension in the city I already loved. Also the connections with the bus and metro are really good, it doesn't take long to go to all the sightseeings you want to go. You can get an abonnement for the bus/metro/train for a good price, we did that and for us that worked perfectly. This is your place for a great holiday! I would say, don't eat at "La Roda", that is the only negative thing we experienced at Poblenou. Portions are really small and were served almost cold, the ober said we had to eat the meat within 5 minutes, that was the reason it was cold. Sangria tastes chemical. This has nothing to do with the appartement, but I wanted to give this as a tip.

• Sooji (6/5): Pleasant - They had COVERED the room with some cleaning product or room fragrant, and the smell literally caused me a headache within the first 15 min since arrival. I had the terrace door and window open for an hour but it helped only a bit. I had to leave the room and come back some hours later to get rid of the headache. Maybe they had to cover up some smell of the room, but please be modest with the room fragrance.
• Andrei (10/5): Exellent choice! - The location was exellent, 5 min from the beach, many cafes, bars, pizzerias with cheap prices and good food. The flat was large, clean, and even with own terrace. Supermarket is in the next building. WiFi was free and perfect. Host is very friendly and helpful. Absence of an elevator.
• Mariia (8/5): Good - Thanks to the staff, they were in touch, at first I didn't understand how to get in. Nice terrace, close to the beach. Everything in good condition It was reaally cold and the air conditioner didn't help though it was turned on on maximum heat. The bathroom and the kitchen are really small. The house doens't have an elevator, I didn't notice that (my mistake), but the stairs are super narrow, apt is on the top floor.

• Mara (9/5): One of the most beautiful apartments I've been to in Barcelona. - Might be the most beautiful / best apartment I've seen in Barcelona. The apartment per se is cute with everything you need , bathroom is small BUT the terrace (sun from early morning until early afternoon) makes it perfect - breakfast in the sun, working from the laptop in the sun, it is fantastic. Poblenou is my favourite part of town, the apartment is perfectly close to shops and super markets (without being loud) and the beach. Right on the other side of the street is this perfect café (Taulat 44) which fantastic coffee, pastries and awesome food for breakfast and lunch. Can highly recommend the place, communication with the host was very easy! Kitchen is small with no oven (for lack of space) but works well, I'm not a fan of the bar table (in general, nothing to do with you), I really would have wished for a slightly bigger sink in the bathroom (water easily spilling). I got a relatively good deal for the 9 days that I stayed, apart from that I think it's overpriced. I don't get the synthetic turf on the terrace, I'd always prefer the original tiles.

• Scott (7/5): Recommended for the fit and agile - Good location close to beach but not so close to Gothic Corridor. Has a washer, comfortable bed, has a small balcony, mostly quiet. Some construction in building which interrupted siesta a few times. Has kitchen and full bathroom. Was a competitive price compared to others on booking.com There was a 5 euro per night City tax that was unexpected for 7 nights. Tourists already bring money to city seems redundant. Need to climb a moderately challenging 4 flights of stairs. Not for those uninterested in physical activity. Bathroom is small but functional. If stay in shower too long will flood the bathroom. Was construction for several days in building or close to building during daytime. Building is older but I’m assuming typical for some areas of old city.
• Stanislav (7/5): Ok for a short stay - Big tv, washing machine, convenient check-in, nice terrace, lots of natural light in the morning, some nice restaurants nearby, beach is in 5 min walking distance. No elevator (4th floor), no street parking available - mind this if you have lots of luggage. A bit noisy, noise from the street and from the neighbors. Not very clean - the towels had stains, floor could use some mopping. Kitchen is super tiny, toilet door doesn’t leave you any room for privacy - it’s a sliding glass that’s doesn’t go all the way up to ceiling or down to the floor. If you’re a couple - you better be very close to each other!) bed could use a new mattress.

Quiet neighbourhood with many restaurants. Shop around the corner for essential shopping. A few minutes walk to the beach. Flat very clean, Spanish style. Highly recommend, it was a real pleasure to rent the flat from Turyhost.

• Riin (10/5): Best location, cozy interior, super comfortable, quiet street, beach very close. - Superb location in the heart of Poblenou (best part of Barcelona), 5 minutes from the beach. Shops, cafes, bars, breakfast-lunch-dinner places all around the corner. Extra bonus for kids - a gelateria right downstrairs :) And: very private terraza for evening wines or private sunbathing :) Kitchen is very small, but totally enough for some mornings you want to make breakfast at home (cooking range, tea-coffee, fridge, toaster, microwave etc).
