• Ashley (3/5): look for other places. - location was good. near the aeon mall. host was quite responsive, though i had to send them a whatsapp message regarding check in. the main gate is secured via a number lock (suggest you bring your own lock). the main door could be easily pushed opened. the bedroom doors could not be closed.
• Wee (1/5): Avoid this like the plague. Unclean and poorly run apartment. No wifi! - Its location is opposite the Aeon Tebrau mall, just a short walk away. It’s only saving grace. There are many reasons not to stay here: 1) The building is like a public building with some homes used as dormitories. It doesn’t feel very safe. 2) To make it worse, the main door is poorly secured with a simple number lock (that is easy to open) and the wooden door alignment is off, so locking it is meaningless. Essentially the unit entrance is not secureable. We actually moved furnitures to the front door to block it from being opened easily when we are in. 3) No wifi in the unit. TV channels don’t work. 4) The communication with the operator is slow and dismal. They insisted on a deposit after our non-refundable booking before they’ll provide us with the booking information, and the information was incomplete so we struggled to get into the unit. 5) The unit is basic and poorly furnished, is dusty, had items strewn around and was poorly upkept. It does not look anything like in the listing. 6) We were also given wrong checkout lock numbers and had to spend a fair bit of time figuring out the lock combinations to return the key. The operator evidently didn’t know the new lock number as well, presenting a lot of hassle to us when checking out. 7) Operator was late to return our deposit (they promised 1-3 working days) and we had to chase them to remind them. And they charged a $5 fee retroactively as “platform fees”, something which wasn’t disclosed during booking. Told us that next time book directly through them to avoid these retroactive fees. We insisted this wasn’t transparent and told to us during booking, but they refused to transfer the fee back to us.
• Melissa (10/5): Nice place to stay - Had a great stay here! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The toilet was really clean, which was a big plus. The room was comfy, and it had everything I needed. Overall, a nice and cozy place to stay!
