Guest Reviews
- David (9/5): - The location, the ambience, plenty of space. Inside cleaning was excellent. 2ND ATTIC bedroom, dangerous to get in & out, mattress needs replacing as we kept rolling into middle of bed .The courtyard needs cleaning and downpipes were blocked. Light bulb needs replacing.
- Paul (10/5): . - . .
- Carolina (6/5): - The appartment was not properly cleaned
- Nigel (9/5): 3 Night Stay - Location was excellent to Central Sydney
Facilities were all you could need and beds were really comfy
Would recommend
- Szumowski (3/5): In short: the property has great potential, but poor cleanliness, lack of maintenance, and no follow - Comfy beds and great location Unfortunately, our experience at this property was far from the “luxury apartment” advertised. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the apartment hadn’t been cleaned to an acceptable standard — the walls and toilets were dirty, the place needed a full dusting, and several areas, including parts of the ceiling, required proper attention.
Cleanliness & Condition:
The TV was basically unwatchable due to bright spots all over the screen. The outdoor area was also unusable with rubbish piled in one corner and grime covering the ground. The kitchen chopping board still had food residue on it, which was unhygienic, and even the bed sheets had holes in them — something we don’t expect from any paid accommodation.
Safety Issues:
There were several hazards throughout the apartment. The lip between the kitchen and lounge flooring was split, posing a tripping risk. One of the shower screens wouldn’t close properly due to a misaligned hinge. The extraction fan was full of dust, the front door handle was loose, and a damaged bedside table actually cut our daughter.
Communication:
The owner, Jack, advised us that a cleaner would come and the TV would be replaced. We even cut our day short to return for this — but no one ever showed up, and we received no further communication or updates afterward.
Overall, the condition, cleanliness, and lack of follow-through fell well below what is advertised. I would not consider this property “luxury” in its current state. I’m happy to share photos of all issues if needed.
It would be a fantastic place to stay if its maintenance was up to date and it received a proper deep clean and ongoing upkeep.

- Vincent (8/5): Very happy, great location, very comfortable. It was everything we needed. - Location Great. Very comfortable. Rooms were great. All in all the property was exactly what we needed The ladies in the group felt the shower pressure from the rain heads wasnt strong enough, and the shower nozzles were a bit low on the wall. But thats a minor detail. I was fine with them. Also the dryer takes Ages to dry.
- Seni (10/5): Lovely and clean. - Beautiful property. Spacious for my family. Clean and had everything we needed for our weekend away. None
- Glenn (10/5): Loved our stay, comfortable and convenient to everything! - Excellent location! Please get the cleaners to clean under the bed in the downstairs bedroom! Looks like it’s been missed many times!
- Stephhall (5/5): Clean & Convenient Spot, Lacking in Facilities - The location was close to where we needed to be, and access to the residence was easy and timely. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was quick to arrange parking when we requested it. Many of the facilities were not working properly or at all. There wasn't a booklet or guide in the residence to explain how to use anything or where helpful local locations were. The wifi password didn't work at all so we had to use our phones. The tv screen had pixels missing. Only some of the pans would work on the induction stove top and the dryer wasn't working properly. We had to take home wet clothes after having our clothes in the dryer for over 2 hrs. There was an aircon remote missing in one of the bedrooms, and the toaster also tripped the power.
The parking instructions should also be added to the email before check-in so it's clear what guests need to do.
- Jan (9/5): Convenient well appointed house in Pyrmont - House was clean and well set up. Easy to get to light rail or walk to the ICC and the city. House was very quiet. Parking was a short walk away but short paid parking in the street. Did not cook but good to have tea and coffee available. Is really 2.5 bathrooms but that was only a minor issue as friends showered at different times.
- Stephen (9/5): Great place to stay. - Great location, well appointed. Kitchen has everything you could need. Comfortable living room. Good beds. Good bathrooms. We were travelling with older relatives, just be aware if you stay here there are a lot of steps/stairs. Even on the ground floor.
Could do with some hanging space in the downstairs bedroom.
TV needs replacing (but you're not travelling to Sydney to sit in front of it).
- Rasmussen (9/5): Would recommend accommodation to others - The property was well fitted out , and great for the number of guests Few minor details- like missing aircon remote and hairdryer
- Lincoln (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juliana (6/5): Good location but for the price the host and cleaning staff need to spend some time on repairs and deep cleaning. - The property was in a quiet location close to amenities. Light rail station, bus stop, supermarket, casino and pubs. The host was fairly easy to communicate with. The bathrooms and beds were clean but the floors were dirty, air conditioners were caked with thick dust. Rubbish was found behind couch and under beds. There wasn’t enough cutlery or glassware. The rubbish bins were filthy with old food. The dryer didn’t work. The patio area was also filthy and littered with old cigarette butts. A door handle was missing from the bedroom door and front door handle was broken. Walls and pictures were smeared with fingerprints and there were numerous large holes in the plaster. It lacked care to detail and hygiene. It also had a very musty smell on first entering.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Louise (3/5): Underwhelming standard of property represented poor value for the money - Location was ok for last minute short stay In Sydney The presentation was poor, standard of accommodation, amenities broken, or lacking for standard suggested online
- Akshay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Erdenesukh (10/5): Exceptional - I was staying there with my work mates. Near to everything. House is huge and comfortable. You can cook by yourselves and has a washing machine and dishwasher is nice. Fully recommend.
- Lilian (9/5): This was a last minute enjoyable stay. - This house is in a brilliant location, close to the fabulous eateries on Harris street.
- Sanja (5/5): Passable - We were expecting an apartment, but it was a small townhouse, which was a nice surprise. The location of the townhouse was excellent, you could explore Sydney on foot. It was also great that we had a parking space (which was a few hundred meters from the townhouse, in a garage) that we could use even after checking out, that was really great. Since it had more than one review, we didn't really know what to expect, but we took a chance because of the location. The townhouse itself is in an excellent location. Unfortunately, the facilities were very sparse; we had a small garden (from which you could see the other neighbors' gardens, which wasn't exactly a great view) that had no seating, i.e. no table or chair. It's a shame because it had a lot of potential to be cozy. One bedroom on the upper floor had a huge hole in the wall, which they tried to cover up with the bed, and a small damage to the wall by the stairs. We had no WiFi from Saturday to Monday; only then did we get a new SIM card for the device. Unfortunately, the gentleman who manages this townhouse was not always easy to reach, but that doesn't mean he was unfriendly, just that hours went by before we received an answer. There is also a lot of room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. The bed linen was not clean (A HUGE NO-GO), it stank of stale sweat which was very, very disgusting, you could also see dust, the floor was dirty which was quickly apparent from the children's socks. There were no kitchen utensils (for self-catering), the toaster could/should be replaced as it was so dirty that it is not recommended to use it. The wooden cutting board already had black mould on it. The knives could not be used properly as they were made of such cheap material that they bent when cutting cheese. The cables from the TV in the living room were also connected from the connection (lower part of the dresser) to the front over the dresser, which did not look very nice (but can also be dangerous for small children).
- Xueying (8/5): Very good -
