- Jared (8/5): Fantastic place for most. - We loved how removed from the loudness of Dublin it was, though some people might find the distance away from the town challenging (just over an hour away from the city proper). It was quiet. It was quaint. It was exactly the kind of escape we were looking for. The lodging offered an indoor and an outdoor shower (loved this). The view of the city was excellent both during the day and at night. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Personally, I hate the word, but it very much encompasses what this location felt like - glamping. The shower had to be turned off and on every 3-4 minutes in order to get the hot water back on, which took a moment to figure out. The toilet was behind a VERY thin wall...be ready to hear everything, or to step outside for a little while. There was some dampness coming through the flooring in a couple different locations within the room which was a bit jarring on discovery, but sandals are provided for walking around the room so we made do.

- Cheyenne (8/5): - John was very kind and the cabins are very unique. Seeing the animals out in the field and the view of the city was gorgeous. Property could have been cleaned better. Some of this may be outside there control due to the nature of the cabin itself but ledges were not dusted and there was trash on the side tables. We also felt like this booking advertises the sauna and hot tub as included. You have to click three buttons to see that it is an additional charge.
- Max (10/5): scenic and peaceful - animals and view where amazing far walk from facilities to cabin
- von Craushaar (10/5): It was a beautiful cabin with an incredible view over Dublin and the landlords were lovely! -

- Eric (10/5): A perfect weekend - We loved everything about this place, because was exactly what we're looking for.
A peaceful weekend away from the city and surrendered by nature.
John was easy to reach out for anything and Keira when welcomed us was very kind in showing and explaining each details related to the location. Both very nice, friendly and humble people.
The cabin was impecable, with everything we needed and all the comfort. Beautiful, clean and cozy.
Ah! Some coffee capsules, a postcard of Ireland and a welcome message with all the info and contacts from John and Keira was also waiting for us in the cabin.
The kitchen is well furnished and easy to cook any type of meal.
We loved playing with Luna and Blue, the never ending playing dogs! We interact with all the animals in the farm, letting them decide if to be pet or not. Indeed, all the crew (an horse, some sheeps and goats, a llama and a goose and a duck) were behaving peacefully and obviously used to have people around.
Long short story, we already know we'll be back soon for another peaceful stay.
N. B. Easy to reach by bike, easier by car.
- Heron (8/5): Peaceful night in Dublin. - Friendly host, comfortable bed, good shower, we really had a good time. We had an electric blanket but it got cold outside of the bed. I don't want to be critical. I will be back and recommend it again.
- Magnus Nygren (10/5): Great cabin, great view, great area and lovely animals to say hi to. - Getting met not only by John, the owner, when we arrived, but also his two dogs, som sheep and an alpaca. The view from the cabin is awesome, the animals are friendly, the area is lovely and the water pressure and heat in the shower is surprisingly good. No complaints here.
- Colleen (8/5): Glamping pod on a farm with a city view! - If you are up for a “glamping pod on a farm” experience, this is definitely it! Owner was lovely and helpful, loved Blue and Luna (the pups). Easy commute to the airport early in the morning (why we booked here for the last couple of nights of our trip). Comfortable bed, nice shower. Enjoyed seeing the animals in the pasture as well. This is one of 3 (or 4) pods on-site, and another serves as the kitchen. This was the most costly of the places we stayed on our trip (everywhere else we had full cottages, rural locations) but understood that it’s proximity to Dublin was going to account for that.
I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues, but if you are able-bodied it’s fine.

- Gordana (1/5): Way bellow our expectations - The location was good with a nice view. The cabin is on a neglected farm mainly growing thistles and nettles. Lots of rubbish lying around. Cabin itself is very poorly built with wc and shower squeezed into a tiny space. We were not given any towels. Kitchen in the separate shack was dirty.
You could not see the sky through a dirty plastic roof.
- Raynes (10/5): - This is a stunning place to stay, the cabin is well decorated and clean. The view is unbelievable! We made friends with Blue and Luna (dogs) and they were the best company! The owner John is very friendly and helpful and they have almost everything you could possibly need! I absolutely loved my time here and I will definitely be returning! Nothing!
- Tatyana (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful place with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were very kind. We were enchanted by the view and the animals. Our only regret is that we could only stay for one night. We definitely recommend and will come back again.
- Christina (9/5): Superb -
- Jessica (10/5): 100% would recommend! - I had the coziest sleep of my life here! The cabin was a little chilly, though the little heater did a good job of warming things up. But the heating pad on the bed and the thick duvet made the bed SO cozy. It was a fantastic view of Dublin, plus the beautiful rolling fields and the cute little goats and pigs. We had fun feeding the horse and other animals, and we spent a lot of time petting the 2 dogs. We wished we could have spent a lot more time enjoying the hammock and fire pit too. Overall I would 100% recommend this place! Nothing! Everything was great, we have no complaints at all.
- Marcos (10/5): Absolutely perfect - The cabin is super cozy, clean, and surrounded by nature — perfect for relaxing. The host was extremely kind and even helped me out when I had an issue with my car. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!
- Mary (8/5): Very good - The location is excellent. It's a working farm and the owner has plans to upgrade etc and we look forward to going back
- Jordan (10/5): Peaceful and tranquil - Facilities were good, it had everything you needed. The highlight was being able to freely roam the field and interact with the animals. The view is amazing, you can see the entire city, beautiful during day and night.
- Renata (10/5): Just what we needed! Thank you so much! - The whole experience was amazing and exceeded out expectations - this is a working farm with a few cottages with an espectacular view of Dublin - the place has enough comfort to provide the perfect glamping experience. The hosts were very nice, kind and helpful, the place was extremely clean and the farm animals are the cutest! I already recommended it to all my friends and will definitely be back!
- O (9/5): Superb -
- Maguire (10/5): Spectacular - John was a delightfully engaging host, gave us a tour of the farm, met the animals and he gave us great instructions on how to use any appliances, in case we weren't familiar! Spectacular views across Dublin, cabin was so was warm, clean and a very comfortable bed, superb quality! As a working farm, it was a pleasure to be allowed walk into the fields freely, see the Alpacas, sheep, goats, horse, and blue the dog. The fact we only stayed one night, longer next time for sure!
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (7/5): Good -
- Sales (1/5): Bad - There is nothing. Nothing like what is advertised on your platform Rude , Site did not feel safe.
- Emmeline (10/5): Cozy stay with amazing view @Happy Land Farm Dublin - The view was incredible, both during the day and at night. The host was also very friendly and helpful. We were met by the cutest dog, very gentle and sweet. The cabin was very cozy and exactly what you would expect. There were many heating options and al the appliences you would need. (There even was an adaptor for your charging cables on site). You can also visit the other animals on the farm, which is always nice! Also many options to sit outside and you may use the joined kitchen. Nothing.
- Alistair (7/5): Didn’t stay so hard to assess - More a holiday place than work place. Would be nice in summer not sure in the winter needs a bit of TLC. We ended up not staying as we had to go to cork for an emergency. Bit out the way with the wild life to fiddly getting in and out the premises and needs a bit of upgrading.
- Marianne (10/5): REAL happy land - everything! especially the dog Blue ♡
- Karin (1/5): DO NOT PAY TO STAY HERE !!!! - The only good thing was the view of Dublin from "above"........ The "cabins" are situated on something we would call a "DUMP" with rusty old kitchen appliances standing around outdoors by the cabins, with old moldy furniture among the animals grazing, utensils and old flowerpots with dead plants laying around everywhere outdoors.
Small muddy paths to the "cabins", with poor lightning to lead the way when dark.
The "cabin" was of such poor construction quality through out, with both the floor and walls giving way, screwed together with no knowledge and with screws sticking out of the walls everywhere !
The porch was giving way, and we were afraid to fall between the planks walking on it.
Small rugs on the floor that lay on top on the outer flooring.... trying to keep the cold air out. Not clean to begin with !
The "shower stall" was glued and spray painted together, with screws sticking out of the walls !
Warm water on demand was provided, that needs to be managed by another person when taking a shower, since it was either ice cold or HOT.
The rate asked for this accommodation is RIDICULOUS !!!!!!
The host required an additional EUR 20 directly at arrival for "deep cleaning" of the cabin after our dog. He nearly would not take us to our cabin if we didn't pay up front. The cabin was not that clean to begin with, since the building materials and the construction of the cabin was of such poor quality.
- Wade (7/5): Very comfortable and peaceful - Views breathtaking, and location peaceful Don't know
- Jennifer (10/5): We had an amazinf staybfrom start to finish, what an experience - The views from the room were absolutely stunning both day and night and the fact it was on a farm with all the animals around made it so unique and amazing Nothing
- Adam (8/5): Very good - The view, the accessibility of the place, the privacy. The quality of the space could be better
- Brigid (10/5): Exceptional - Warm welcome. Peace and quiet.
