Guest Reviews

- Chloe (10/5): Great stay would reccomend! - Spacious rooms and easy to cook for yourself. Friendly people to book through, gave great recommendations for nearby food/activities. Shower was very small but that is the same for all Italy it seems, so not disappointed!
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - We could not have been more pleased with this apartment. It was so easy to get around the city from. The tram station was incredibly convenient and our host, Daniel, could not have been more helpful with our questions about how to use it. We used it nearly every day, except the day we went on an organized tour outside the city (Daniel’s advice on that was also immeasurably helpful and we enjoyed a stress free day in Cinque Terra as a result).
One tip on the tram; while you catch it only steps from your door at the Dalmazia station, we advise when coming home, you can get off at the station called Vittorio Emanuele instead. Exit the tram, go right, and walk straight up the road. You’ll see your neighbourhood a short walk up. This saves you from going to the end of the line and back. You’ll understand when you get to the tram and see the map of stops. We also took the blue line tram one day, out of curiosity, for a round trip. It takes 1 hour 40 minutes. It’s a great and cheap way to get all over.
The apartment was very comfortable, had all that you need to enjoy the kitchen, very comfortable beds, and wonderfully located for getting around. Lots of nice restaurants in the area as well, but the center is only a 7-10 minute ride on the tram, with a train coming every 5-6 minutes at most times of the day.
If I find myself in glorious Firenze again, I would certainly stay here again. This is not a “dislike” but more of a recommendation, the apartment is across from a bus station and very busy railway. This is not unusual in many cities, but plan accordingly. If you’re a light sleeper, be sure to have earplugs on hand. Even with the shutters and windows closed tightly, while they help, you can hear them. Again, it is no problem, but as with all travel, just have what you need to block out sounds that you might not be used to.
