- Wesley Rigg (2/5): I could not recommend this property, because customer service is what makes or breaks hospitality. - The house was beautiful, clean and well equipped and the location close to the beach was excellent, but we could not enjoy the quality of the premises, because of an almost total lack of customer care. 1. Keys and Lockbox: We arrived at around 6.30 on Friday evening. When we used the code which we had been given, the door of the lockbox refused to open. When we called the owner, she said, "Oh yes, that door gets stuck, so you need to pry it open with a sharp object. After more than a dozen attempts, we managed to pry the door open with scissors. However, it was obvious that the door had been like that for quite a long time and that other guests must have had the same problem, so why hadn't it been fixed? We left our belongings in the house and went out for dinner. Upon our return, we found that one of the bedrooms required a key, but we hadn't been told the location of the key, so one of us had to sleep on the sofa, until we finally found the key the next morning. 2. Bedsheets: None of us have queen size beds, so we had to pay an extra $100 to rent sheets. The sheets looked nice and came neatly packed in plastic but, when we opened the packages, one set of sheets had a distinctly unpleasant smell. 3. Hot Water: When we went to shower on Saturday morning, we discovered that there was no hot water. After several calls to the owner went unanswered, we resigned ourselves to taking cold showers.
- Cristy (9/5): Great value property that was well presented - Great location and the layout of the property was great for 2 families. The kitchen was also well designed and had all the kitchen items we needed. 3 bedrooms had no aircon or fans. Even some pedestal fans would help move the air to cool it down whilst trying to sleep.
