• Richard (4/5): Poor service - Had only 6 coffee and tea bags with one small 50 ml milk carton for a 7 day stay. For an apartment booking there was no toaster /microwave. Too much noise from construction site across the road. Would not book here again as hotel doesn’t have anything to do with the apartment hire which is in the same building.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Mantra On View stay - Wasn’t allowed to leave bags down in lobby of hotel on checkout day because I was “apparently” not a hotel guest because it’s a separate room to the hotel. The only gym is not included apparently as hotel staff have said only thing that can be used is pool.

• Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - The location is great, so close to the beach and the city centre. Room was clean and all amenities like towels, spare blankets & pillows spare toilet paper etc and soap all available, great little convenience store down stairs if needed. Just such a great spot with an awesome view Nil
• Sandra (4/5): - This hotel needs a major revamp. The lifts don’t recognise your cards to access your levels, so you end up with a group of commonly frustrated people waiting downstairs for a different life each time. There is no parking available at the hotel, you have to park in the public car park, or across the road and hope you don’t get a ticket. The toilet does not flush properly after the initial flush, so you have to either wait to go to the bathroom, or just leave it. The restaurant only offers breakfast and 2hrs of “happy hour pizza’s” but was closed the whole time we stayed there for a private function. The noise from the construction across the road is unbearable as well. At night it’s not too bad, but during the day you cannot sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean view and sunshine. The air conditioning is the absolute worst I have ever encountered, it only has a heat option and the vents are horrendously dirty. Will never stay at this hotel again!

• Peta (8/5): Comfortable stay in good location - Instructions provided were easy to follow for key collection and parking. Unit is basic but comfortable and in a good location. Close to everything. Pillows on the bed were not comfortable however softer pillows were under tv. Over all stay was good and I would stay again. Cleaning could have been a bit better, we had to clean the toilet on arrival.

• Antonio (7/5): Good - The location was great, and the host was very accommodating. I've stayed there many times, but this stay, unfortunately, the room was not to the standard of the photo advertised. What wasn't very comfortable was the shagpile carpet and carpet runner on top of the already laid carpet, and chairs covered with rugs, looked a little uninviting. This isn't shown in the advertised pictures, and as much as I completely understand people like to protect there investment, they also have to make it more inviting and presentable for guests
• Jade (1/5): Absolutely disgusting - The vent in the bathroom couldn’t be turned off and was making noise all night, the vents were disgusting and need to be cleaned, THIS IS A HEALTH HAZARD!! The air conditioning didn’t work well despite following instructions, I was told the air con had recently been serviced and asked to see proof which they couldn’t provide. The fridge stopped working and I lost $30 worth of food and $120 in diabetes medication and all I got as a response was sorry you feel like that. You can’t ask the hotel for help because its privately owned. The property manager seems nice initially and asks to be contacted if there are any concerns but they don’t actually give a f**k about anything. Just pay them. This has been a very distressing experience and unfortunately I think it will be a very long time before I can look back at it without feeling sick.

• Chelsea (1/5): I'll be demanding refunds and never booking with this hotel or through booking.com again. - Nothing, didn't even get to stay even though we paid and booked Everything was terrible. Parking was difficult enough, then finding out way to reception from parking area was even more difficult. Then reception tell us we have to pick up keys from an Indian corner store which was closed by the time we got there (it's closing time was not included/mentioned in the booking confirmation email). When we finally made it to our room, we find that someone elses stuff is already in there as someone double booked the room. We waiting around for hours for a solution and no one helped. We had to drive hours home having done none of the activities we bought tickets for in Surfers Paradise. I've never witnessed a mistake made this badly, not to mentioned the way it was handled or should I say wasn't.

• Jasan (4/5): not happy - good location, room had good amenities well we had a not so good experience I.e for the money we paid for a day which was a bomb, we were not even given normal check in time as toilet had some issues. worse was the plumber left all the tools in the toilet and the property manager just said that they couldn’t do anything about it as it was previous occupant fault. that was quite disappointing response as just becos we had paid upfront we were almost held hostage. quite disappointed in service given the money paid.

• Ella (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect, so close to the tram. There were also convenience stores close by. and the view was so nice! The facilities were complete and everything was so clean. Would definitely love to stay here again when in Gold Coast :)
