Every staff member went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout my stay. The service felt sincere rather than just routine, which made a big difference. My room was spotless, well maintained, and verry comfortable to return to after a long day. It was clear that great attention is paid to cleanliness and detail. At first, I didn’t expect much since it’s a small hotel in the Old Quarter. HOWEVER, I was truly surprised. From the bellman to housekeeping and reception, everyone always greeted me with a smile and kindly checked on me whenever we crossed paths. Here, I felt a level of care just like being with family. • Beau (10/5): I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel during my time in Hanoi - The property feels new, modern, and very well maintained, which immediately gave a good first impression. The reception staff were especially kind, attentive, and always welcoming whenever I needed assistance. Their friendly attitude made the whole experience feel much more comfortable and personal. The room was very clean, smelled fresh, and had a bright, relaxing atmosphere. After long days exploring the city, it was nice coming back to such a comfortable space. The location is also very convenient, only around a 10-minute walk to Ta Hien Beer Street and other lively areas in the Old Quarter. At the same time, the surrounding area still felt calm enough to rest well at night. There are also plenty of local restaurants, cafés, and food options nearby, which made it easy to try different Vietnamese dishes. Considering the location, cleanliness, and level of service, I thought the price was very reasonable.

The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. We also rented a motorbike right across from the hotel, which was very convenient.

I went into Astoria and asked the staff for help. After asking me a few questions somehow—almost magically, even I don’t know how—she managed to contact the reception of my hotel. She was incredible, like she had some kind of magic power. She literally saved my life ;)

• Peter (10/5): - I’ve stayed here both before and after the hotel’s renovation. After the upgrade, the space became much more beautiful and elegant—from the lobby to the rooms. I’ve stayed in both the Superior and Deluxe Family rooms, and both were very comfortable, spacious, and well-designed. The view overlooks a small alley, and from afar you can see the cathedral—very open and relaxing. The hotel is right near the walking street, so it’s super lively at night, never boring. The staff have always been extremely supportive—helping me with contacts for limousine and motorbike rentals. On my second visit with my family, we booked a combo to watch fireworks in Ha Long. There was a small issue with the tickets at first, but the receptionists on the online shift responded quickly and handled everything very efficiently. Both times I stayed here with friends and family, everyone loved it. They all told me I should write a review, but I kept forgetting—until now. I was planning to come back to Hanoi this June, but unfortunately the hotel is already fully booked. Otherwise, this would definitely be my number one choice to stay in Hanoi.

In early April, I accidentally threw my teeth-whitening device into a black trash bag, which was quite stressful. • Máté (3/5): Megpróbáltak átverni. - Elhelyezkedés tökéletes, nem mondom hogy makulátlan tisztaság volt de ár-érték arányban elfogadható. Rossz élmény volt összességében és sok gyanús dolog volt. Kezdve hogy a becsekkolás után pont elromlott a terminál és nem lehetett fizetni kártyával (elvileg 2 nap múlva jöttek volna megjavítani) majd elvileg “ingyen” upgradelték a szobánkat, viszont emiatt valami kamu dumát kitaláltak, hogy mondjuk le a foglalást, mert csak így tudják elintézni az upgradet. Olvastam erről a fajta átverésről, ezért kértem hogy előbb mutassák meg a szobát. Pontosan ugyan az volt mint amit foglaltam, szó sem volt upgraderől, sőt az eredetileg foglalt szobáról a képek mintha nem is itt készültek volna. Felhívtam a Bookingot, hogy rá akarnak venni a foglalás törlésére, ami egy bevett scam a nagyobb városokban Ázsiában (ha törlöd gyakran dupla árat kérnek tőled, átvisznek másik szállodába stb, és nem véd semmi hiszen te mondtad le “magadtól”, de gyakran ők mondjak le no show-ra hivatkozva még a határidő előtt, ezért kell felvenni a kapcsolatot a bookingal mindenképpen) szerencsére gyorsan cselekedtek és felhívták a szállodat. Érdekes módon miután 2 óra múlva újra odamenten a recepcióra már megjavult a terminál és lehetett kártyával fizetni, így lett nyoma a foglalásnak. Egyébként semmit nem vártam a szállástól, mert annyiba is került, de ez az élmény és hogy át akartak verni az nagyon negatívan hatott. A lokáció miatt nem adok csak 1-est. (Javaslom keress rá a google mapsen a szállodára és nézd meg a negatív kommenteket, itt szerintem rengeteg a kamu komment és a ha törlöd a foglalásod már le sem tudod írni a valós véleményed)

Everything is within easy reach, and you can walk to any place you need. It’s truly perfectly situated. In addition, the room was amazing — very spacious and beautifully maintained. It had two large beds (one and a half size each), and they were incredibly comfortable. We slept perfectly. The only downside was that the window cannot really be opened, and when it is, it faces a wall. Unfortunately, this makes the room feel a bit closed off. The room was also slightly humid, and the bathroom could benefit from some maintenance and small improvements.

However, upon arrival, we were informed that late check-out was not available, as there were subsequent bookings after us. There was no attempt by the hotel to make arrangements to fulfil the promised late check out. With regard to the early check-in (which was also supposed to be included), it was similarly not acceptably fulfilled. I informed the property on 26/11 via whatsapp about our arrival details (29/11 at estimated 10am local time). However, due to flight delay, we only arrived around 11.40am. Despite this, the room was not ready upon our arrival, and we waited for another 15 minutes. Hence, we only checked in very slightly before 12pm, even though the property had confirmed our arrival at 10am.
