Small matter but we were there to celebrate my first business deal. We had informed them of the same before arriving and they did not acknowledge that at all during our stay.

All staff encountered were friendly and accommodating breakfast buffet was great and food at Toucanes restaurant was very tasty. We only stayed for one night but had a wonderful stay.

• KINGA (7/5): Hotel w sposób hurtowy podchodzi do gości - Strefa z gorącymi źródłami. Zagospodarowanie terenu piękne. Bardzo miły personel. Pyszne jedzenie w restauracji. Pokoje na żywo nie wyglądają tak jak na zdjęciach. Stanowczo są gorsze. Słabej jakości kosmetyki w łazience. Sztuczny zapach olejku w samochodach transportujących i ręcznikach powitalnych. Na śniadanie bardzo mały wybór warzyw. Zamykanie strefy spa o 19.00 jest niefortunne bo jesli ozryjezdzasz na 1 dobę a od 15.00 jest check in to ciężko iść na masaż.

• Jill (10/5): Another lovely stay at the Tabacon Resort - We had a fabulous time at the hotel and the hot springs. Our rooms were very comfortable. The meals were fabulous at the hotel. The check in process was a bit overwhelming. There were too many things that we were being told about our stay while we were having to set up the whatapp number to send our passports while at the same time we were being handed a drink and facecloth. The drink and facecloth should have been given to us a little later when we weren't overwhelmed with all of the tthings we needed to do to check in.

• Nadia (8/5): we enjoyed it. - Although this seemed expensive on booking the chance to use the springs both in the evening and exclusively from 8-10am in the morning was fantastic. It made the stay very good value and lot of fun. We could not turn off the lights in the wardrobe which because of the design of the cupboard doors (with slats) meant we had lights on all night. The coffee set up meant making a mess in the sink. Capsules would be better.

• Maciej (10/5): Absolute must! - Thermal resort was highlight of our whole stay in CR. It was our second time here, but definitely not last. The Tucans restaurant is just average. Food is served nicely, but bland and overpriced.
• Wonjoon (10/5): Must stay hotel and hot springs resort. - This was our second stay at the hotel. We loved our stay here five years ago so much we wanted to make sure to stay here again. Originally we wanted to stay for two nights but due to its popularity only one day stay was possible for our scheduled itinerary. Our experience was fully satisfactory again. The hot spring is still the “must” for us and we enjoyed thoroughly for two days (even before checkin time and after checkout time. Staff, all of them, were epitome of kindness and prompt attention and professional service. They all speak English fluently too. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the dinner at the hotel springs was also first-rated. Next time we travel to Costa Rica we will definitely schedule our itinerary early enough and around this hotel’s availability for at least two nights. We had two rooms, both of which were meticulously maintained clean and high quality bedding. Shuttle van operated very frequently with very minimum wait time. We could not reserve for two nights that we planned for Arenal Volcano area. The hotel is very popular. We really wished we could stay one more night but had to move on to Monteverde. Our “neighbor“ guest family members were talking aloud outside our room for a while at night but once they got into their room to carry on their conversation it was quiet again for good sleep.

If you book directly on their website breakfast is included. So best to book directly with them as bookings doesn't include it and it's 30 per person. I already paid a lot for the room so it doesn't make sense that it's not include it.
