Location for walks to beach and lighthouse good, but a bit far out of town to walk. Construction in block ruined our 6 day holiday. Woken early on Fathers Day to an electric sander in the room above, and then on Monday banging before 7am!!
No basic tea, coffee or sugar in kitchen, nor shampoo in bathroom. You get even get these in budget motels.
No safe to use. Curtains were not wide enough to cover windows, so people could see in. NO window coverings at all in the kitchen, with 2 big windows on both sides of the building meant you could be seen from both roads.
Outside balcony & bbq looked like it hadn't been used or cleaned in ages.
Smelt musty because of a permanent flooding issue in basement carpark which is only a few steps from the apartment.
We were also told via the booking agent that we were expected to clean before we left! I know the usual take the rubbish out and make sure all washing up is done and put away, but cleaning...

- Tara (8/5): Great apartment in great location. Shame about the traffic noise. - Great location near Clarkes Beach, lighthouse track, walking distance from town. Large sized rooms, two bathrooms and washing machine was great. Being on the corner of Tallows Beach Road and Lighthouse Road, there is a lot of traffic noise at times. But overnight it was ok. The balcony is very narrow and we didn't sit out there much due to the traffic noise. It's an older apartment, particularly the kitchen is pretty basic. But fine for a beachy stay.

I would recommend this unit.
It would have been good to have access to beach towels. Unit smelt musty, the hall floor boards are very creaky, the bedroom blinds allowed the morning light in making it hard to have a sleep in.

- Robert (10/5): Great stay between Captain Cook’s beach and Tallow beach - Great location between Captain Cook’s beach and Tallow beach, within walking distance of the Lighthouse on one side and the town on the other. Lack of loo rolls, one bathroom had none, not even on the loo roll holder - very unusual. The lady at the office said someone would bring some the following day, but didn’t happen - maybe due to Xmas period. But we just bought some.

- Pamela (9/5): Enjoyable - The location, quiet corner, easy walk into town The second bedroom isn't well laid out. Twin beds, too long, blocks the door from closing (no privacy). There is also a large fold-up bed at the base of the second bed, in front of the wardrobe which means you can't get into, or in front of, the wardrobe.
