The location is fantastic, with plenty of bus and metro options nearby, making it really easy to get around. There are also plenty of places to eat and shop, and being so close to the subway is a real bonus for convenience.

• Jessica (6/5): Handy location in a safe and friendly neighbourhood with a few creature comforts missing. - The location was great and very near to everything we wanted to explore while visiting Shanghai. The neighbourhood is very safe and clean and easy to walk around or use the public transport. There are many restaurants and shops nearby if you wish to shop and eat close by. The local people are very friendly and helpful but have limited English. A translator app is very handy and helps make life a little easier when communicating with the locals. We have travelled to many AirBnBs around the world and rely on the property description and photos to inform us about what to expect. We knew the shower was not a western style shower in fact it was a bath with a hand held shower head. What we didn’t know was the roof in the bathroom was very low which made it awkward to wash as we are a tall family. The upstairs room also has a very low ceiling so again as a tall family we struggled to stand in the bedroom without hitting our head on the ceiling. There are two internal windows which are covered with only a blind and we think it must have another property behind us who always keep a light on making it difficult to sleep at night. The beds are very hard and you can feel the mattress spring also which is not great after a long day exploring Shanghai. There is also limited plates and cups available to use and no way to dry your dishes.

The staff were warm and very helpful, I was deeply touched by their thoughtfulness. They provided me with many tips for exploring Shanghai and its surroundings. I'd come back just for the services they provided me. The design of the little villa is unique and cozy. I highly recommend this place. Non!
• Lilee (10/5): Exceptional - I really like this B&B! The location is excellent, very close to the subway station, with good amenities nearby. It feels safe to go out at night, and there are also some bars around. Shanghai's nightlife is really great! The customer service is good too. The house has Shanghai characteristics, with an old alleyway feel. Everything is perfect, though the light is too bright for me😂
• Émile (10/5): Exceptional - This homestay is great! It is very close to the metro station and easy to find. The surrounding attractions are also nearby, making our travel extremely convenient. The hotel is situated in a beautiful old-style house with a charming vintage decor. We had a good time! Highly recommend.
