• Sunnytina (6/5): Lovely apartment - but we will look around at easier options next time. - Spectacular views - the location was very quite nice and close to where we needed to be for work. A comfortable apartment for three people as each had their own bathroom. Check in was attrocious. Once booking on booking.com, everything is handled by another website but that's not stated or even transparent. So logging in to get pin numbers to get keys was incorrect as we didn't have that site - it was all done by text and links so if you didn't know it wasn't Booking.com where you originally booked, it was rather difficult. After multiple phone calls to work this out, there was a moment where the host said 'it's all done electronically on another site - if you can't get the online check-in to work, we can't give manually give you a pin, we can just refund you'. We were sitting in the car having driven an hour an half to get there so that wasn't an option. We finally got the link to work and got in. The kitchen contained no essentials such as salt, pepper, oil, coffee or even cold water in the fridge. For $600 a night, a few little essentials would be appreciated. EDIT POST: Despite their subsequent advice, no essentials were located in the pantry. Further, they have taken from my work credit card a $500 deposit which I have a screen shot advising that this is a 'hold only' and there were no issues upon check in OR out. So, the comment regarding 'refusing to complete the security deposit' is untrue as we were unable to obtain keys without providing additional funds. I now have work chasing this. I have contacted 'Luxury Penthouse Collections' multiple times for a refund of this security deposit with no response. If no response is received, this will need to be referred to police. Their policy and screen shot I have of the terms of this advise that it will be refunded 48 hours after the stay. This is three weeks later and no response.
