Graeme (9/5): Very useful location and comfortable accommodation for a studio size unit. - Location was great for the purpose of our visit to Brisbane. The accommodation was generally quiet, as fortunately one very loud nearby party on Saturday night finished at an acceptable time - by 10pm. Kitchen was well equipped although we did not need to use it much. Bathroom is a good size and well presented - the deep rectangular basin and tap location took a bit of time getting used to. Some instructions on how to access free to air TV would be useful. The instruction sheet for things in the accommodation was minimal, and we did not work out how to get the tv channels. Fortunately IVIEW was on the remote and, when we wanted to watch TV, we could access ABC that way. The 9 digit PIN took some time to confidently memorise - wrote the code on a scrap of paper and put it in my wallet as a backup.
Ros (9/5): Peaceful location. Well appointed and comfy. Easy access to city transport. Clear coms from host. - The fan didn't operate as it appeared the remote control needed new batteries. We would have preferred to have used that instead of the a/c but we were grateful for the fan only function of the a/c which was very quiet. The sun rising though the bathroom window directly (very early as it is summer) was blinding and could be tamed by some kind of blind on that window. Even with the bathroom door closed, there is a fair bit of light bleed which for light sleepers is a bit of a disruption. Cooking pans need some extra attention to their condition/cleanliness. Perhaps the provision of something like Gumption to help with tough marks/burns would help here.
