- Wojciech (7/5): - Fantastic location. Good amenities. Comfrotable and spacious place. There was a bad smell in the 2nd bedroom. Luckily we didn't need it for our stay, but it would be a big problem if we did.
- Carmel (6/5): Disappointed - Location was great. We arrived to a London hot spell staying 4 nights. The apartment had very poor ventilation but did have two fans. On arrival one fan was not working at all. The other was spinning but no air coming from it. Did report it to the host. No replacement was provided during our stay. There was no sink plug, also reported to host and only one tea towel provided. There were placemats on the glass kitchen table that we removed as they were dirty. The kitchen had a dirty rug under the table with one corner that was turned up and I couldn't count the number of times that one of us tripped on it. The very low lounge was inadequate in size for 4 people.
The second day we reported that the bathroom sink was not drawing away. Not nice when 4 people are cleaning their teeth and the residue was not draining away. Was told this would be sorted on the Monday. It didn't happen. Surely a cleaner would see this and report it.
So overall it was a little underwhelming.
- Lucy (1/5): Cheap stay if you just use it to come and sleep at night - The property has good location
That is all.
if you want to save money and live in central London it’s okay . The property has good location
That is all.
The house smells of dampness and mould
The house wasn’t very clean
The carpet under the table was dirty
The main lock gets stuck you need to know really have to struggle with it a lot.
Lack of ventilation .
Bathroom is too small
The shower is too small can barely fit in it without bumping yourself against the wall.
However if you want to save money and live in central London it’s okay .
I had to open the windows as soon as I entered the house and even had to keep the main door open to let the smell out. Through that was not a very safe thing to do considering Camden can be notorious at night.
- Dayoung (6/5): Pleasant - Good host, location The facility was too old and not clean
- Ole (9/5): Superb -
- Lynn (9/5): Great Stay - Ideal location for Camden Market. Just a short walk to several bars and restaurants.
Host Alison was fantastic Had just a couple of minor issues but Alison the host was on hand to solve
- David (1/5): DO NOT BOOK THIS - DO NOT book this apartment. there is a leakimg roof above one of the beds. Meaning I woke up with dripping water on my head. We raised this with the property manager and requested less than one nights accommodation as a refund in compensation. they failed to compensate us in anyway. I doubt they fixed the leak.
- Kevin (7/5): Good - location there were 2 locks for the door, one of which did not work at all and the other was tricky to use
there was no teapot
- Jim (9/5): Superb - Great location
Nice size rooms Front door was hard to open/ lock
Plugs needs replacing in kitchen sink
Bathroom sink no plug and didn't drain
- Maria (9/5): Great stay. - Fabulous location. Nice and spacious two bedroom apartment on ground floor. Clean. Great kitchen with large fridge. Nothing.
- Lemonia (6/5): Pleasant - Everything was clean, the house modern and comfortable and the location comfortable. The first night -when it rained- the ceiling in the master bedroom was dripping in two or three places. When there was no rain, there was no dripping.
- Margaux (10/5): Perfect for a few days ! Thank you :) -
- Lydie (2/5): strong urine smell makes one room unusable. - The location was ideal, 8min from Camden station & 5 min from a small supermarket. The key on arrival was broken inside the key box. The second double had a very strong smell of pee, someone must have peed on the cork wall and the smell was overpowering and absolutely disgusting. The flat itself could have been ok but, you cannot see outside, all windows are frosted, it is a long corridor flat so feels really overwhelming and boxy. The wifi only works in the main room where the tv is. The oven was broken (the element was not heating so must have blown) so no means to cook quick dinner for the kids. I felt absolutely ignored by the owner and by Booking.com, absolutely no help from either just constant emails saying are you sure you tried this or that, we never had any complaint about that.
I can recognise the smell of male urine, I can work an oven. Very disappointed and revolting to have been left with one room out of two unusable, while as a single parent I saved to take my three kids on holidays.
- Quoc (10/5): Exceptional - excellent, the stay was full of amenities, and very comfortable, hope we come back and continue to stay here!
- Sean (9/5): Wonderful place to stay in the heart of Camden, with great transport links and quiet, comfy bedroom. - The property was just what we wanted. It was very convenient for the local bus stop and overground train station, and the tube was just a few more minutes walk. Everything was incredibly clean and all the equipment we could want in the kitchen was available. The beds were comfortable and, despite being able to hear the trains from the living area, the bedrooms were wonderfully quiet.
Would stay again without hesitating. We couldn't see any information about recycling and refuse collection, but that's a very minor quibble.
- Kimberley (9/5): Great location, helpful hosts, and comfy beds! - The property was clear, and had all the amenities we needed included a well-equipped kitchen and a decent bathroom.
Was less than a minute walk to the overground station, and about a 10 min walk to the underground. Close to local shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.
Both beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the number of pillows provided. The main bedroom was particularly spacious. The second bedroom was smaller (double bed against a wall) but still decent-sized.
We barely heard any street noise, however we did not stay over the weekend.
Towels and basic shower amenities provided, however the soap/shampoo etc would not have been enough for the 3 of us for the duration of our stay.
Check in process was easy, and the host provided useful instructions. Alison was also very polite and responsive to any message I sent her.
The property is on the ground floor. While we did have upstairs and downstairs neighbours, we rarely heard them and had no problems with noise. The wifi in the property was terrible for us; the signal did not reach the bedrooms, and it was very slow when we were able to connect. We ended up using mobile data while staying at the property.
The front door had 2 locks, however only 1 lock worked. Guests are only provided with one set of keys, however Alison did offer a second set.
Both of these things should be easy to rectify, so I hope they are fixed for the next guests, as it would truly make it the perfect place to stay in Camden 😊
- Harriett (3/5): Poor - I cannot fault the communication with the host. Location was good, around a 5 minute walk to Camden town tube. The beds were comfy if you didn't think about the smell. The property absolutely stank of damp! And the property was so humid because of the damp. All of my clothes now stink of damp/mould. There were lots of plug in air fresheners to try and mask the smell but unfortunately this is never going to sort the issue. Shame because the property itself was 'ok' but the smell was just so over powering it was hard to breathe.
- Susan (10/5): Good - Good location for our work visit Plenty of room
