• Erika (7/5): - Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Gute Aussicht. Parkmöglichkeit am Haus. Leckeres Frühstück ( separat zu zahlen - 2 Personen 16,— Euro - per Mai 2026). Das Bad ist sehr klein. Leider waren nicht alle bei booking.com genannten Ausstattungsmerkmale vorhanden; z.B. kein Wasserkocher, Kaffee/ Teezubehör und Fön auf dem Zimmer. Auf der Veranda waren ein normaler Holz-Tisch mit Stühlen, keine gemütlichen Gartenmöbel, zum Verweilen. Ferner war der auf den Bildern zu sehenden Außenpool und die Liegen hierzu ( noch) nicht vorhanden (Mai).
• Dieter (10/5): Schönes Zimmer mit Aussicht - Sehr gute Lage mit Blick über den See und privatem Parkplatz. Die Gastgeberin war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und schmeckte hervorragend. Von dem Sitzplatz vor dem Zimmer hatte man eine wunderbare Aussicht.

• Timothy (10/5): Wij hebben heerlijk genoten van de rust van het verblijf en het dorpje is ook erg gezellig. - De eigenaren waren enorm gastvrij en behulpzaam. Heerlijk vers ontbijt. Een betere accommodatie hadden wij ons niet kunnen wensen! Er is niks wat ze kunnen verbeteren. Alles was super!

• Amer (10/5): - Objekat se nalazi na lokaciji koja pruža prekrasan pogled na Skadarsko jezero, domaćini su izuzetno ljubazni i susretljivi do mjere da je vlasnik isparkirao svoj automobil kako bi mi svoje vozilo parkirali na najbolje mjesto unutar imanja. Savjetima su nas uputili kako da sto kvalitetnije provedemo vrijeme u ovom simpatičnom selu a sam objekat u kojem smo odsjeli je izuzetno čist. Iskrena preporuka za sve koji želw mirno i udobno mjesto za nekoliko dana odmora.

• Marleen (8/5): Fijne plek aan het meer - Heel blij met deze keus, skip Shkoder vooral als je in deze hoek wil zijn voor uitstapjes want dit is een veel fijnere locatie: een rustig dorpje, heel klein, aan het meer. Een boulevard met wat restaurants (die uiteraard allemaal hetzelfde serveren, helaas), terrasjes en 1 supermarkt, meer is het niet maar dat is ook precies goed. In de avond is de boulevard heel druk en rijdt iedereen met zijn auto heen en weer, dus fijn om niet in die herrie te zitten. Vanuit Hyka House heb je super uitzicht vanaf het terras over het meer. Wij hadden de twee kamers met terras, erg fijn en eronder stond het zwembad wat echt heerlijk was in de hitte (het was erg warm). Ontbijt was prima en uitgebreid, met die oliebollen natuurlijk die ze in heel Albanie serveren. De gastvrouw is enorm aardig en attent, het is er mega-schoon. Haar zoon woont in Belgie dus daar kan je mee communiceren via de telefoon in het NL. Er zijn boven in het huis ook nog kamers. Parkeren is wel een uitdaging maar het lukte. Beneden kan je lekker een visje eten bij Xhaka, neem die uit de oven in een soort kleischaal, superlekker. En dan een halve dag of meer suppen naar het vogelgebied bij Drini Sports aan het eind van het dorp, ontzettend leuk, echt aanrader. Lunch of een cocktail bij Dredheza (die snapt dat je wel eens zin hebt in een smoothie) en klaar. Vanuit hier kan je naar Komani Lake (aanrader) of je rijdt met de auto naar de ferry en vaart de hele rivier af, ook heel tof. Eigenlijk niets. In Shirokee is verder niet veel te doen maar daar kwamen we ook niet voor. Shkoder is dichtbij, er staat wel altijd file over de brug. Twee extra ligstoelen bij het zwembadje zou nog wel fijn zijn geweest.

• Aidan (8/5): Nice stay in Shiroke near Shkoder - Lovely place to stay by the lake. It reminded us of Menaggio at Lake Como. A short stroll from the accommodation to the lake and it's various bars and restaurants. A very relaxed and safe feel to the area. No noisy nightclubs of bats but plenty of nice places to eat and drink. Swimming and kayaking in the lake was fantastic. The lady serving us breakfasts could not have been nicer. The road up to the house is very narrow. After the first night we just parked in the free public car park next to the lake which is only about two minutes walk from the property.
• Barnaby (10/5): Lovely place in Shiroke - Everyone was very helpful and attentive, with lots of great suggestions of things to do and places to see. The room was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the lake and is walking distance to the whole of Shiroke. Nothing, it was a great place.

Even with the language barrier they made us feel welcome, gave us tips on where to eat and where to go. They also let us keep our luggage there for a few days while doing a hike nearby! • Mascha (9/5): clean and brand new place you will love - we were the first to stay in the room! The place and the couple who owns it were lovely. they took good care of us and even spoke a bit of Dutch. you could feel they are very proud of the place and love sharing it with others. the room has everything you need. nice big bed, fridge and very good shower. the view is beautiful and it’s nice that there is a big terrace belonging to the room. in the morning they prepared our breakfast which was very good good wifi very clean if you come by using Google maps it will point you one street later. a sign would be nice. the street goes up a bit steep.
