From the bed to the bathroom, everything was well set out and the facilities provided made our stay a very comfortable one. The hosts, Caroline and Robert were wonderful. They were very thoughtful in the way the studio unit had been set up. We did not have any issues with anything.

• Taylor (2/5): - The studio was modern, exceptionally clean, well equipped with appliances and conveniently located. We were unaware that the studio was attached to the main residence by an internal door through which both light and sound travelled. We could clearly hear the owners speaking meaning they could hear us as well, which eliminated any sense of privacy. This significantly affected the 3 day romantic gettaway we had planned. The bed was extremely hard - comparable to sleeping on the floor and resulted in severe back pain and poor sleep for us both. Breakfast provisions were not adequate for a B&B. The only cereal offered was muesli which we don't eat and the uncut sourdough loaf could not be toasted and went stale quickly and the fruit cups and small tub of yoghurt were not suitable alternatives for us. Consequently, we had to eat breakfast out each day, which was an added unexpected expense. Additionally, although a coffee plunger was provided, there was only enough ground coffee for one pot. Overall, the accommodation felt more suited for older guests who retired early. The lack of privacy and comfort meant the stay was not relaxing, and we even considered seeking alternative accommodation, but could not afford the additional expense on top of the money we had paid. We both felt it was not worth the money spent and that the advertisement clearly needs to state that the studio is attached to the main residence by an internal door, we would never have booked this accommodation had we known that fact. We can only give this review 2 stars and could not recommend to any of our friends.

The room was very clean, comfortable and a good continental breakfast was provided, a variety of options for hot drinks, fruit, yoghurt etc. A loaf of fresh bread was provided. It was obvious that a lot of thought had gone into fitting out this property. We stayed for 2 nights. The bathroom was excellent. Our only complaint was it didn't have a reading light.

• Margaret (10/5): Exceptional! - Exceptional accommodation! The studio is attached to private residence but has separate private and secure side access with off street parking. Exemplary standard in all aspects - quality, cleanliness and comfort. The kitchenette was very well equipped and the provisions for breakfast (sourdough, granola, muesli, yoghurt, milk, tea, coffee) was very much appreciated. Caroline & Robert are excellent hosts and we look forward to returning.

We stayed in the room most of the time and did enjoy everything in the room, incl. design, layout, furniture, front garden with a private carpark/bike racks etc. Hosts were friendly to welcome us when we arrived. Nothing we really disliked.

• Patricia (10/5): Exceptional - This property is exceptional, everything you required was catered for. The continental breakfast was great. Caroline even enquired as to what milk we liked so it was there when we arrived along with fresh bread. The unit was spotless & roomy. In the photo it is to the right of the front door & is part of their residence but you never hear the hosts & you have your own side entrance. Location is brilliant,close to town & tourist spots. We hope to return in the future. Nothing. Only thing we as travellers note there are never hooks or a stool in the bathrooms for one to put their clothes on. We can't put them on the floor because they would get wet. This is the case for nearly every place we stay. Just a thought.

Good hanging space and storage for clothes. Bed was very comfortable. Fabulous breakfast. Generous hosts with great communication skills. Access was easy with off street parking. Fabulous area to explore. Would definitely stay again. Everything you needed was there. We had a longer stay and could have enjoyed some more comfortable seating.

The property was out of town in a quiet location off Liverpool Rd, access to walking trail and view of river was a short walk away. Hosts Carolyn & Robert warm, welcoming and discrete.. Would highly recommend for a getaway in the area as a couple.. I would have liked another serve of the delicious fresh coffee.

I liked the open communication including checking what type of milk we prefer for breakfast. Loved the bathroom and the huge shower. There was nothing I didn't like.

Fantastic breakfast supplies - full carton of milk (checked in advance what sort we wanted), fresh bread, muesli and fruit, ground coffee etc. So thoughtful. Lovely quiet residential road just back from the waterfront walk into town. Perfect location. We loved it. Robert and Caroline very welcoming and gave loads of information to help us enjoy our stay. Nothing - it was a perfect stay. We wish we could have stayed another night.
