• Sharee (9/5): Amazing location - The step by step instructions and photos provided on how to locate the key, carpark & apartment was most helpful and greatly appreciated! The location was fantastic and so close to everything! We had a terrific stay in this lovely little apartment. Ideally a longer check out time than 10am after a 3pm check in would have been a nicer touch. (Most other places offer 2pm Check in and 10.00am Check out, or 3pm &11.00am) Not a deal breaker, but nice to have. We discovered the door did not lock upon checking out....not ideal or secure..... Some UHT milk and perhaps some coffee & tea sachets would also have been a "nice to have".
• Jarred (1/5): Beware this propert and booking.com - I booked this accomodation late on the day we were to check.in. When we arrived we called the owner who said they would take 30 mins to arrive and give us the key. When we finally got to the room it had obviously not been cleaned from the previous guest. We contcted the owner who said he had paid for cleaning. Dirty bed sheets, dirty tissues next to the bed, dirty towels on the towel rack, food in the fridge. When i complained to the owner again, then there was a knock at the door, it was the owners who demanded we leave the property. We greed we would if we get refunded the $320. They agreed and we left. We contacted booking.com to inform them.of the situation. They said they would contact the owner to arrange a refund. Since then they have put a 50% crefit on my booking.com account and have refused any further action. After discussing this with the ACCC we issued a Letter of Complaint as per ACCC advice. Booking.com simply igmore all.efforts to try and resolve this issue. They blame the owner, the owner blames booking.com. We are now going to VCAT to try get our momey back. Booking.com do not have any proyection for, or accountability to the consumer in circumstances like these. Obviously this completely ruined a weekend away and we had to get alternative accomodation. This was a very costly and upsetting weekend. We paid, we did not get what we paid for. The owner and booking.com refuse to discuss this or even attempt to resolve this meaningfully. Beware this property and booking.com. We now have to wait for VCAT to get our money back. We are not goimg to let this go and are warning people that this is what can happen. Beware! • Hannah (3/5): If you’re not fussy and want to be close to the exhibition centre/South wharf, it’s is a satisfactory stay. - Great location for our stay. Close to the exhibition centre and restaurants at South Wharf. Was good to have a washing machine and a kitchen with all amenities for our baby. Close to IGA. Property/apartment very run down. Walls and floors very scuffed. Very noisy with the apartment facing the freeway. Needing repairs and some new furnishings, linen and definitely the rug in the lounge room. Dryer very noisy. Shower doesn’t drain water away very well so water everywhere in the small bathroom after a shower. Toilet seat very flimsy and does not fit on the toilet. Fridge unclean and food items left over from previous stay. Cutlery unclean. Need a new ironing board as it is brown.

• Anneke (10/5): Our stay was comfortable, affordable & very convenient - The location was perfect for visiting the casino. Also a leisurely walk into the city. The apartment was clean & comfortable. Communication was really friendly & accommodating to our needs. Will definitely stay again.

• Libby (7/5): Basic accomodation but covenient, quiet and close to trams. - Location was excellent Host was fantastic Apartment was quiet Linen and towels were old and felt very worn. Kitchen had everything needed to cook and eat diner but was very basic. No table and chairs inside the apartment (enclosed balcony has a small outdoor table) so nowhere internal to eat or work.
