Guest Reviews
- Heather (9/5): Perfect modern house in a great location! - The house is in a perfect location for transport into the centre of London and Blackheath itself is full of great coffee shops and cafes. The house was very modern and well looked after. Our host was very helpful and communicated key information well. Perfect place for a group of women! Minor issue with no hot water when we arrived but this was quickly sorted.
- Kate (10/5): Perfect place for an all adult group getaway! - Such a great place for a group. Was really pleased. Communication was absolutely brilliant all the way through and couldn’t have asked for better place to be as a group. Loved the fact they left condiments and other bits and bobs making cooking easy. Makes such a difference. Everything was great. It’s a very light house so would have been nice to have better curtains as sun came in loud and clear.
Couple baking trays would have been useful.

- Manthan (10/5): A relaxing, enjoyable stay that I’d happily return to. - I really enjoyed my stay—the room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully set up. The location was perfect, peaceful yet close to everything I needed. There wasn’t much I didn’t like. If I had to mention something, there was a slightly off smell when we first entered the property which lingered for most of the first night. Overall, though, it was a very minor issue in an otherwise lovely experience.
- Michelle (8/5): Excellent accommodation for a weekend away with friends, and an opportunity to explore a part of London we’ve never been - Just a few mins walk from the station and Blackheath’s lovely high street, house was beautiful and clean, in a quiet area and with lots of natural daylight. It was easy to get up to London Bridge and into central London. Very well equipped with good quality fittings. Everyone loved the heated toilet seats!! Perfect place to stay for a weekend in London with friends. Nothing just a few little extras would make it even better- eg mirrors in bedrooms, hanging hooks/rails, wine glasses
- Lynn (9/5): A very comfortable property in a great position - This was a lovely spacious house with comfortable rooms which was great for a family gathering. Its position is a key feature. The bedrooms are quite light so an eye mask is useful.
- Sanita (9/5): Spacious and comfortable home. Conveniently close to train station -
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kirk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Armenuhi (10/5): Exceptional - The house was magnificent, everything needed for comfortable living was there. The design of the house was very beautiful and convenient. It was also very safe.
- Anonymous (9/5): Great stay - Fabulous location. 5 mins walk in to Blackheath & the station. The bathrooms - heated toilet seats & great showers! Very responsive owner- supplied us with kitchen towels as soon as we let her know there were no tea towels in the kitchen. Beds lovely and comfortable and plenty of towels left in each room.
- Bridget (9/5): We were very pleased with our stay here and grateful to the hosts for making it possible for us. - It accommodated us very well, lots of room and several bathrooms. Loved the enclosed garden, especially for the little ones. The stairs were a bit steep.
- Fiona (10/5): Great location & beautiful house for families or group. - Great property for family or group of friends. Very close to Train station & a lovely walk to Greenwich. A Tv on first floor seating area.
- Susan (8/5): Lovely comfortable house. Good location, only 5 mins from Blackheath station. Would definitely stay again if we come as - Size, projector, mirrors in bathrooms, bi-fold doors, comfy beds, good kitchen and eating area for big group. Parking Needed blackout blinds. More mirrors in bedrooms needed. Hand towels for the bathrooms. Tea towels for kitchen. Large key ring for key, almost lost it down the drain.
- Ela-maya (6/5): Good stay - Very modern
Strong heating
Big space Quite dirty
- John (9/5): Superb - Fantastic house with beautiful lounge/decking areas which was ideal for our large family get together. Managed to get 2 cars on the drive which is a bonus. Lovely area,
convenient for local shops, buses and a delightful walk into Greenwich.
- Sharon (4/5): Disappointing, the property should not have been listed until all renovations had been completed. - Owner's husband was flexible and waited for us to arrive especially as we had been delayed travelling. He showed us around and explained where the extra bedding was for the modula sofa/bed on the ground floor. Neighbourhood was mostly quiet. The single bedroom had a blind at the window. Only two rooms in the whole three storey house had curtains. The ground floor front room/bedroom had a modula bed which the supplied bedding didnt fit properly. There were no curtains in this room and the outside security light shone right into this room all night! Apart from the small single bedroom on the second floor, there were no curtains as such. The back double bedroom on the second floor had a sheer net but this didn't keep the sunlight out first thing in the morning. The other double bedrooms had NO curtains either and the neighbours could probably see straight into these front bedrooms. There was no welcoming package (ie small bottle of milk, or bread etc) which would have been a nice touch. The owners were obviously in the middle of doing renovations as blinds were lying on the floor in several rooms.
The location was close to local shops and about a 15 min walk to the local train station. As we were going into the City daily it was a mission to get a train from Blackheath Station to London Bridge, then change to the tube to get into the City centre. There was 8 of us (four adults and four children) in our group.
- Dickson (10/5): Exceptional -
