• Nina (8/5): Wunderbar - Super schön historische Gebäude, nett restauriert und eingerichtet! Die Dachterrasse ist leider nicht möbliert, bzw. zur Nutzung angedacht.

A casa tem uma decoração muito bonita e está na melhor zona da cidade da Praia, sem estar na confusão. Foi-me pedido uma taxa acima do que é a lei, 2,5€ por dia. Daria 1000 CVE e foi-me pedido 1650 CVE.

Es un edificio antiguo, sin embargo la distribución interior no realza la belleza del sitio. La habitacion interior en una segunda planta sin ascensor la hace poco accesible y oscura, no obstante interiormente era cómoda.

• Sabine (9/5): Impeccable. - La gérante est particulièrement professionnelle est arrangeante. Elle nous a accueillie très gentiment alors que nous sommes arrivés à l’hébergement très tard le soir. L’emplacement était parfait, le lit très confortable. Rien. Il nous a juste manqué la lumière dans la salle de bain qui devait être réparée mais cela est un petit détail.

• Mathilde (8/5): Agréable - L’emplacement est parfait et c’est plutôt calme. On peut aller au restaurant sans prendre de taxi. Nous avions la chambre du haut et nous étions vraiment au calme, nous avons eu la chance d’être seules les 3 nuits donc nous avons eu 0 bruit mais il faut tenir compte que le silence à l’intérieur de la maison est aussi dû aux colocataires de la seconde chambre Pensez à prévoir vos shampoings et savon Peu de lumière naturelle Un peu cher en terme de rapport qualité prix
• Chiara (7/5): - Die Lage ist sehr gut , auch die Küche kann man nutzen. Es kommt warmes Wasser mit guten Wasserdruck. Das Personal konnte kein Englisch hat aber schnell die Chefin (denke ich) geschickt die mit mir kommuniziert hat Bei Booking stand mit Meerblick, wir bekamen aber Hinterhof Blick . Das Zimmer wirkte dadurch sehr dunkel. Auch im Bad war nur ein winziges Fenster. Zudem ist im Bad Wasser ausgelaufen. Wir konnten nicht feststellen woher aber es stand aufeinmal alles unter Wasser. Das Bett war nicht bequem und sehr klein. Generell verfügte das Zimmer über sehr wenig Ausstattung. Ich hätte mir wenigstens einen Papierkorb oder kleinen Schrank gewünscht.

• Knut (9/5): - Unser Zimmer im Hause „O Sobrado Mariazinha & Inácio Lima“ war fuer unseren Besuch in Praia auf Santiago die perfekte Wahl. Das geraeumige Zimmer mit Bad/ Dusche besass einen franzoesischen Balkon mit interessantem Blick auf den Hafen sowie die Praia Negra. Ein riesiges Wohnzimmer und eine voll ausgestattete Kueche zur Mitbenutzung, die sehr zentrale Lage sowie Parkmoeglichkeiten unmittelbar vor dem Haus runden das perfekte Arrangement ab. Das Zimmer war sehr gepflegt/ sauber und wie auch das gesamte Haus liebevoll dekoriert. Die Betreiber sind zuverlaessig, hilfsbereit sowie von erlesener Hoeflichkeit.

• Nadine (4/5): Si vous n’êtes pas claustrophobe… - L’appartement est grand et meublé avec goût. Aucune fenêtre dans le séjour / cuisine, ce qui donne l’impression d’étouffer dans cet appartement. Seule une fenêtre est présente à la chambre qui donne sur une cour sombre et sans air. À l’heure convenue pour récupérer les clés, nous avons dû patienter 1 heure car l’appartement n’était pas préparé. Très mauvaise isolation du bruit avec l’appartement du dessus, on croirait que les voisins sont chez nous…

• Maria Del Carmen (8/5): - It's a calm area close to the busy streets of Praia. However, it felt some days a bit insecure cause during late hours they were people high walking around the place... It's a ground floor which doesn't have daily light and you can not open the window cause everyone sees you. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was good, and it had a hairdryer. The towels were clean, and the toilet itself was standard. It's closed to the city centre and other areas. If you require, they clean the room for you so it's great! The unsafe of some days having people walking around the neighbourhood pretty high... You can not cook there - only basic staff.

Der Flughafen-Transfer wurde organisiert und hat uns pünktlich abgeholt. Unser Zimmer hatte ein Fenster in einen dunklen Innenhof, das Zimmer war klein und war dadurch spärlich eingerichtet. Das Personal spricht kein Englisch, aber mit Übersetzungsprogramm kommt man gut durch.

A localização, apesar de bastante central, situa-se num fundo de uma rua com muito pouco movimento. Acabamos por ser alertados pelo guia e por um taxista para termos mais atenção naquela zona, o que nos deu a sensação de alguma insegurança.

• Susanne (8/5): Gute Unterkunft im Herzen von Praia - Die Lage ist wirklich gut und auch preislich fanden wir diese Unterkunft in Ordnung. Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und Blick auf den Hafen. Das Bett war bequem. Man darf ein großes Wohnzimmer mitbenutzen und eine Küche mit großem Kühlschrank, das ist sehr praktisch. Das Zimmer war sauber, nur der Boden müsste öfter gewischt werden. Wir hatten schwarze Füße vom Barfußlaufen. Das Personal spricht leider nur Portugiesisch, wir kamen weder mit Englisch noch Französisch weiter und haben uns mit dem Google Translator verständigt, was vollkommen passt, man kann nicht immer überall erwarten, dass die Menschen Englisch können. Was uns etwas gestört hat: das Kartenlesegerät war kaputt und wir hatten nicht genug Bargeld. Haben dann ausgemacht, dass wir am nächsten Tag zum ATM gehen und bis 15 Uhr bar bezahlen. Am nächsten Tag hat es aber um 10 Uhr an unserem Zimmer geklopft und eine andere Person wollte jetzt sofort das Geld haben. Wir haben die letzten Escudos zusammengekratzt und konnten es zahlen, haben auch eine Quittung bekommen, also alles ok. Aber es kam uns so vor als hätte man Angst, dass wir ohne Bezahlung abreisen, was kein schönes Gefühl war. Es ist auch ungewöhnlich, dass man bei einem Hotel nicht über Booking oder mir Kreditkarte zahlen kann.

• Clara (7/5): Buen alojamiento y limpio para 2 días en Praia - Es un alojamiento que está limpio y más o menos cerca del centro. Es cómodo si quieres independencia ya que solo hay personal parte de la mañana y de la tarde. Tal vez es el alojamiento perfecto para 2 días en la ciudad, pero tal vez para 6 días no. Aunque hay aire acondicionado en la cocina y salón hacía mucho calor y no podías hacer casi vida en estas estancias. Personalmente, la calle para llegar por la noche es un poco oscura, y a mí me hubiera gustado que hubiese alguien del personal por la noche, ya que da más seguridad.

Soprattutto se si ha intenzione di andare al mare è un po’ scomodo non avere uno spazio per stendere/asciugare costumi e asciugamani.

The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and ideally located in the city center of Praia, with easy access to restaurants, local culture, and amenities. They accommodated all our requests quickly and made us feel genuinely cared for. While the apartment itself was great, it didn’t align with our specific plans for a quiet, nature-focused area suitable for remote work. We were hoping for a location closer to natural spaces and beaches for relaxation. Despite this, the owners were incredibly understanding and allowed us to leave early without any hassle, which we greatly appreciated.

Maria was also able to organise transfers to and from the airport which was very helpful. The room was perfect for a one-night stay/stopover, simple with bare basics - you need to bring soap, etc.
