• Jelenová (8/5): - Ubytování má na první pohled příjemný vzhled a oceňuji samoobslužné check-in řešení i aplikaci s průvodcem, což je docela dobrý nápad. V koupelně byl k dispozici šampon, kondicionér i tekuté mýdlo a kuchyň byla poměrně dobře vybavená. Samotné ubytování má bohužel více nedostatků, které vzhledem k ceně zamrzí. Chyběla mikrovlnná trouba, postel byla poměrně malá a židle v pokoji i kuchyni byly velmi nepohodlné. V kuchyni navíc překáží noha stolu, o kterou člověk neustále zakopává. U vstupu chybí prostor na odložení bot a bund. Zahrádku jsme vůbec nevyužili, protože je hned u hlavní silnice a nepůsobí příjemně ani klidně. Ručníky v koupelně byly spíš jako tenké bavlněné hadry než kvalitní froté ručníky. Také šatní skříň působila velmi provizorně. Nejvíce nám ale vadil pocit neustálé kontroly. Každý den někdo chodil kontrolovat produkty vystavené k prodeji v apartmánu, jestli jsme si něco nevzali bez zaplacení. To nám velmi znepříjemnilo celý pobyt a necítili jsme se komfortně ani v soukromí. Za mě cena rozhodně neodpovídá kvalitě ubytování.

It would have been a nice little add on to have some water and tea available in the property. Bed cover was a bit itchy.

Außerdem ist im Hof eine kleine Sauna, diese muss allerdings extra gebucht werden. Gute Kommunikation über einen Chat. An- und Abreise mit Code möglich. Fahrradkeller abschließbar. Alles sehr sauber! Für Menschen über 1,90 Meter Größe sind die Doppelbetten leider etwas kurz.

• Ingrid (9/5): Schöner Aufenthalt in der Nähe des Sees - Schöne Wohung mit antiken Gegenständen und besonderem Flair. Es war alles hergerichtet, die Betten sind sehr bequem. Man kann hinter dem Gebäude parken. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht, die Wohnung ist aber auch für mehrere Tage geeignet. Der Gastgeber hat eine eigene App mit vielen Infos über die Gegend und auch für den Checkin und kümmert sich um die Gäste. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben unterm Dach, d.h. es geht zwei Außentreppen hoch, man kann aber direkt davor mit dem Auto zum Ausladen stehen bleiben. Beim Sitzbereich fanden wir die beiden kleineren Couchen zu alt und unbequem.
• Bertus (9/5): Great comfortable stay at crossroads between three countries within easy reach! - The location is special but for me it was exactly what I was looking for. It is a well equipped nice apartment with all the trimmings and equipment. It was very comfortable for my stay and an ideal point for my planned travel during my stay to Switzerland, Bregenz and Vaduz. It was all around the proverbial corner. The availability of minibar and sauna was also very welcoming and given a positive feeling. When arriving in the dark you need to carefully look where exactly you get in as an entrance and find the key-safe. In daylight no problem whatsoever but we only found that out the next morning. Given the local circumstances not sure what you could do to improve that situation. Not a big deal anyway

• Katharina (3/5): Viele versteckte Kosten und automatisierte, schlechte Kommunikation. - Positiv: Das Apartment war sauber. Insgesamt stimmt für uns aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht, vor allem wegen der vielen Zusatzkosten und der schlechten Kommunikation. Wir würden nicht erneut buchen. Wir waren mit fünf Personen für drei Nächte in dem Apartment. Leider gab es einige Punkte, die den Aufenthalt sehr enttäuschend gemacht haben. Für die fünfte Person war bei Ankunft nicht einmal ein Bett vorbereitet, obwohl wir für die extra Person mehr bezahlt haben. Gleichzeitig sollten wir pro Person und Nacht 25 € extra für die Sauna zahlen, also 125 € pro Nacht. Diese Kosten waren auf Booking nicht klar ersichtlich. Insgesamt wären so knapp 500 € Zusatzkosten nur für eine sehr kleine Außensauna entstanden, obwohl wir an zwei Nächten sogar nur zu dritt vor Ort waren. Da konnten sie dann keine Ausnahme machen und wollten uns zu dritt 125 € für einen Sauna Abend berechnen. 30€ kostet es dann wohl, wenn jemand persönlich vorbei kommen soll. Also es wird bei allem extra abgerechnet. Auch die Grundausstattung war leider auch unzureichend: nur eine Rolle Klopapier für fünf Personen für drei Nächte und kaum Spülmaschinentabs. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, wir sollten das selbst kaufen. Die Kommunikation lief fast ausschließlich über eine automatisierte App mit vielen Nachrichten, auf konkrete Fragen wurde jedoch kaum individuell eingegangen und immer so eine automatisierte Nachricht geschickt. Für jeden zusätzlichen Service vor Ort wird außerdem eine Gebühr verlangt.

• Daria (5/5): Unfortunately, poor service and unresolved issues with the sauna led to a disappointing stay, especially as it was my bi - Cosy, lots of natural materials, large blankets, good shower, warm house. Good Bluetooth speaker. There is an option to go to the sauna, but it is expensive for the quality of services provided. There is a Netflix subscription. The bed linen was not fresh. Customer support did not respond. We lost a lot of time while using the sauna trying to understand why there was no water. It turned out the pipes were frozen, and we had to carry water from the apartment ourselves. Because of this, we could not properly enjoy the sauna. The hosts did not answer calls or messages, and there were no essential oils. Very poor value for money — we paid 100 euros. The apartment was missing basic items: trash bags, enough toilet paper, proper cups for tea (only espresso cups). There is an oven, but no baking paper or baking dish. There was an unpleasant and rather depressing painting on the wall, which negatively affected the atmosphere. Most importantly, it was my birthday, and the sauna issues together with the lack of service completely ruined the experience.
• Linda (4/5): - Die Wohnung war sehr nett Die Kommunikation mit den Betreibern war furchtbar. Sie haben nicht auf mich reagiert. Ich hatte schon gezahlt, konnte aber ohne Kreditkarte keine Kaution hinterlegen, welche bei booking.com nicht ersichtlich war und ich immer nur mit debit buche. Keine Hilfe oder Reaktion der Betreiber. Nachdem das Problem gelöst war, bekam ich viele Nachrichten und WhatsApp dass ich die sauna nicht gebucht habe. Ich dachte die ist im Preis enthalten, NEIN. Ok, ich habe sie dazu gebucht. Man muss sie selber 1 Stunde vorher einstellen. Das tat ich. Als ich rauskam, war sie besetzt. Laut Betreiber habe ich einen tagvor meinem Aufenthalt gebucht...da das dort anscheinend öfter vorkommt, kein Geld zurück und kein saunaaufenthalt. Due Lage ist echt schlecht, direkt in einem Wohngebiet, an einer strasse- ohne fussgängerwege. Wer den See von dort aus sieht bzw zu fuss hinlaufen kann, ist mir fraglich. Direkt an der Grenze zur Schweiz. Ich muss das erste Mal schlecht bewerteten kann es überhaupt nicht weiterempfehlen.

Auch die Lage ist gut, um spazieren zu gehen am schönen Bodensee. Leider gab es keine Fensterläden & Verdunklungsvorhänge. Für jemanden wie mich, der nur im vollkommenen Dunkeln schlafen kann, bedeutete das leider eine schlaflose Nacht.

Wir haben von Anfang an nicht gewust, das für die Sauna soll man exstra Zahlen :( Es war sehr spontane Reise, Abens gebucht, morgens gekommen, deswegen Bewertungen haben wir nicht gelesen. Man darf in der Sauna insgesamt 3 Stunden bleiben. Aber mindestens eine Stunde braucht die Sauna für bis zu 65 Grad aufheizen. In der Dusche gibt es kein Duschvorgang aber auch keine Warme Wasser... keine Saunadufte und Saunabesen wie auf dem Bild man sieht. Ansonsten ist neu mit Sauna Hut und Hammamtücher.

• Hanno (8/5): One night stay in Austria near German boader - Iglu sauna from Estonia, the neighbourhood, different from regular hotels. We arrived in the dark and did not find the right safebox for the key. Should have read instructions more carefully.
• Sabine (8/5): - Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, gemütlich und schön gelegen. Besonders die Sauna war angenehm und von guter Qualität. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt ruhig und erholsam. Die Sauna war mit 25 € pro Person und Aufenthalt bei einer Übernachtung recht teuer, zumal sie für alle Gäste gebucht werden musste, obwohl nur zwei Personen sie nutzen wollten. Etwas störend war zudem, dass die Kommunikation über eine App lief, die häufig und über alle Kanäle Benachrichtigungen schickte. Zudem mussten wir ein Depot von 150 € hinterlegen, das wir eine Woche nach Abreise noch nicht zurückerhalten haben.

• Anett (10/5): Unsere kleine (wunderschöne) Farm - Alles war einfach spitze. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht geblieben sind, da wir auf der Durchreise waren. Zwei tolle Schlafzimmer mit superbequemen Betten, ein komfortables Bad, der Küchen-Wohnbereich war sehr gemütlich und man hatte alles, was man brauchte. Die Vermieterin war total nett, es gab zwar keinen persönlichen Kontakt, aber alle Informationen waren hilfreich, sie erkundigte sich mehrmals nach unserem Befinden und Probleme gab es sowieso keine. Parken konnte man direkt hinterm Haus und gegenüber gab es einen tollen Spielplatz für unser Kleinkind. Nichts, alles war perfekt.

• Michael (9/5): Drei feine Tage in einer sehr gemütlichen Unterkunft - Das Appartement war sehr gemütlich, ruhig gelegen, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern erfolgte ausschließlich digital. Als älterer und in dieser Hinsicht altmodischer Mensch hängt man halt noch der romantischen - aber offensichtlich überkommenen - Vorstellung an, dass man mit den Gastgebern vor Ort direkt in Kontakt treten kann.
• Julie (9/5): Nice, clean, pretty, nice location.. Beds were soooo comfy!!! - Nice location, not to touristy and walkable distance to a few eating places and a shop. Although check opening times! Sadly didn't get to use the sauna but it looked fab and host was so nice and allowed usage of this at any time of day. Very very comfy beds!! Bedroom was spacious as was bathroom. Living room and kitchenette was more compact but had space enough for a sofa bed. No microwave. Host was English speaking to which was great for us ☺️ Parking was gravel which for motorbikes was not perfect but doable.
• Victor (10/5): - Spotless apartment. Very well equipped with a full kitchen and a private terrace which was a wonderful surprise. It really felt like home. We only stayed one night but I would say this is the perfect place for a longer laid back stay with time to relax and explore the area. The owners were lovely as well and the general organisation and check-in were convenient if you plan to arrive later in the evening as we did.

• Zazie (4/5): extremely disappointing - The nature around is very nice. Access and check-in were very easy, and the decoration is pleasant. It’s such a shame that most of the information was false advertising. We were deeply disappointed, because if the host had simply been honest — and if the price matched reality rather than fake pictures and fake expectations — we would have known what to expect and would have chosen something bigger, with a garden while travelling with our kids. I will start by saying that I have never taken the energy to write a bad review for anyone — but it was a very disapointing experience . From reading the comments, I can only assume that “Em & Family” will find an excuse for everything. But here we go. This listing is, purely and simply, a lie. It looks nothing like the pictures. When we communicated our worries to the host, she didn’t try to help, she just denied and argued. The house: The “traditional Austrian wooden house” in the photos is not where you stay. Instead, it’s an industrial building right by a noisy road. The sauna: Advertised as “in a garden surrounded by trees,” in reality it’s on a parking lot. The host’s explanation? “We have resurfaced the surroundings.” Apparently they cut down every tree and moved the location. The apartment The so-called “48sqm one-bedroom” is actually a much smaller studio with everything in the same room: one sofa bed and one tiny, uncomfortable 140cm bed with stained sheets. We ended up sleeping in the same space as our young children, waking each other all night. On the photos you see a sofa bed and then a bed in another room — anyone would assume it’s the bedroom. Turns out, no. That 140cm bed is in the same room as the sofa. Once unfolded, there’s literally no space left to move. And the host’s replies? Honestly shocking: “The pictured bedroom was just to illustrate the ‘ambience.’” No bedroom. “You must have made a mistake, you confused it with another listing.” “If it’s too small, just sleep on the couch". €350 per night for this circus act: four people squeezed into a glorified shoebox. We suggested staying one night and refunding the second. We explained that if we found a compromise, our review would reflect that. The host’s reaction? She accused us of “making threats” and being rude. Ten overwhelming bot messages before arrival, but once we raised real concerns: silence, refusals, and passive-aggressive remarks.

• ftisch (8/5): Sehr gerne wieder einmal. - Die Lage ist super, das Appartment war genau richtig für unsere Gruppe. Der für das Frühstück vorhandene Kaffee war sehr gut. Vielen Dank! Das restliche Frühstück war gleich in der Nähe zu besorgen. Leider sind keine Mückennetze vor den Fenstern montiert, aber sehr viele Mücken warten auf Beute. Es sind zu viele Möbel im Wohnzimmer, man kann sich kaum bewegen. Die Kommunikation vor dem Bezug war wirklich sehr umfangreich und es musste Kaution hinterlegt werden. Das kenne ich trotz Self-Check-In viel unkomplizierter.

Mit geöffneten Fenster waren die Straßengeräusche störend, die alten Holzbetten sind zwar urig schön aber auch knarzend und für große Menschen aufgrund der Fussteile evtl. zu kurz.

• Miloš (9/5): Superb - The apartment is a nice, cozy and quiet place, perfect for a family holiday. Two separate bedrooms, living room with a kitchenette, bathroom with a bath, smartTV with Netflix, kitchen with all you need to make a simple dinner, decent WiFi connection. Two shops, pharmacy and cafés/restaurants in walking distance are an added value. Upstairs apartment has quite a lot stairs - if you travel with your folks, downstairs apartment might be a better choice.

• Pauline (10/5): Fabulous - The apartment was exceptionally comfortable, particularly the magnificent beds. The decor was beautiful and the atmosphere tranquil. Every possible need of the guest had been considered and the attention to detail was fabulous. All amenities were accessible, nice places to eat and a well stocked supermarket a few minutes walk. The surrounding area was scenic and the lake a short journey away. The host was very attentive and was contactable throughout our stay for any queries. We had a wonderful guest information link which was very informative. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment for a very enjoyable experience. Nothing!

The property is very tastefully decorated, with lots of nice touches and toiletries to use. I wish we had time to use the onsite sauna (which can be booked at extra cost). It is Perfect for us, the No fly adventure family.

• Dmitry (4/5): It was on our way, self-checkin is good, but overall experience was quite disappointing. - Self-checkin. The apartment itself (quite spacious and it has own entrance). 1) They charge 150 EUR deposit on top in the separate system and there is no info about that (it's the first time I pay deposit for booking.com stay). 2) Misleading information in the description: the "formula" for using their sauna is [20 EUR X number of people staying (no matter if one of you uses the sauna or not) X number of nights booked], which is ridiculous and very expensive. Especially considering the sauna is standing in the middle of the parking lot. 3) Sofa-bed is not what you expect to sleep on after a long journey. 4) Very expensive minibar (prices like in a 5-star hotel). 5) No complimentary tea, only coffee. 6) They charge a fee if you leave dirty plates or cutlery (I haven't experienced this anywhere, I remind you that you are paying for your stay). 7) Wifi was not the best one.
• Henning (9/5): Superb - We had the top floor apartment, which is nicely decorated and very spacious. The usage of the check-in app is slightly confusing, with messages coming via email, phone and Booking.com

• Luis (10/5): Super charming place, great sauna. - Super nice and charming place. Easy check in since it's just a keybox and you can arrive anytime after check-in. Sauna was AMAZING, highly recommend. Plan in an hour for heating it up. Better than any hotel you can stay in around there. Wifi could be a bit faster, but works for most stuff.

Great for famillies We couldn’t park the car on the drive due to snow, no one had cleaned the drive and we had to park much further away. But the apartment exceeded our expectation

• Tibor (9/5): Superb - Design, comfortable bed. Everything was new and clean. It was a big plus to be able to stay with our doggies. I understand it is an old farmhouse, but from time to time somebody could vibe up the spiderwebs. Very strict rules but if you obey them everything is fine.

We visited the lake and nature reserve in the evening and had time to go up into the mountains in the morning. Really comfortable old farm house, love the decoration here and met the family this time and they gave us lots of time! We will come back soon again. Thank you!
• Stephie (2/5): Terrible host. Would not recommend and would definitely not stay here again. - Nicely decorated Terrible host. Our stay was totally ruined due to the inhospitable attitude of the host. First of all she’s based in Spain which is pretty useless when hosting a property in Austria! The apartment was boiling hot. She only provided one fan in a two bedroom apartment meaning that we couldn’t use the second bedroom and all four of us had to pile in one bed, which meant we had a terrible nights sleep. When I asked repeatedly to please buy us a cheap fan her reply was ‘buy one yourself’. Absolutely shameful. We spent €1,000 on a 3 night stay and she couldn’t fork out €20 to make the heat tolerable. Also the photos are pretty misleading. The entrance looks nothing like the photos pictured. It is far shabbier. There is also very little in the vicinity and you have to drive everywhere.
• Man (5/5): People need to drive to there, not close to public transport. No elevator inside the building and no washing machine ins - Overall, it is clean. The host has decorated the apartment well. The building is quite old. However, the apartment is located at 3rd floor. It is not good to walk up the stairs with several big luggage cases. Also, it is too many house rules and instructions from the host, such as paying deposit, uploading passport as well as many reminders during our stay. A bit disturbing to our holiday moods
• Anonymous (10/5): Pristine Hygge - The apartment was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and was conveniently located while still be quiet and quaint.
• Meital (10/5): Exceptional - lovely and inspiring place. It was a lot of fun for all of us. We didnt want to leave at all such a beautiful and cozy place! The area was Beautiful , green farm fields and forest walking trail along the river. Charming and well equipped.
• Alaa (9/5): Superb - Very clean and comfortable There's no near access to the lake, cleaning procedure is complicated for a tourist and you'll pay fees if not collecting your garbage with recycling.
• Johngunther (10/5): Comfortble apartment on a working farm - Very nice apartment upstairs in a converted building on a working farm. You should be comfortable with manure smell outdoors. Kitchen is usable and well-equipped. Communication with host is efficient and prompt. Very quiet area away from heavy traffic. The mandatory online self check in is mildly annoying and a refundable damage deposit will be charged on your credit card. No cash accepted. Free off street parking and frequent local bus service. The ADEG grocery store, the Old Rhine River and Switzerland are a 5 minute walk.
