Guest Reviews
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- John (8/5): Very good - Good location A bit small , lack of wardrobe space in main bedroom
- Paula (7/5): Had 3 nights at this apartment and overall it was a comfortable stay - Location was very close to tube station so was great for travelling around the city
Beds very comfortable The floor boards were extremely noisy to walk on.
- Michael (10/5): Lovely apartment in safe, convienent area - Recently made the change from staying at hotels to apartments - this has been the best one yet. I’ve stayed in Earl’s Court and all around Chelsea numerous times throughout the years and I really like this area. You’ll find everything you need within 5 minutes of the apartment tube/shops/food etc. The property itself is modern and surprisingly bright being a basement flat. Full of lovely art and all the necessities you’d need. It has a courtyard out back which is a rarity in London and I really enjoyed sitting out listening to the birds. The apartment was clean and ready earlier than stated check in - they even allowed us to drop our luggage off whilst it was being cleaned meaning we could go around London without dragging around bags! The only thing I didn’t like was the fact I couldn’t stay a day longer - sold out… no surprise there ;)
- Anonymous (9/5): Great place to stay with 2 bedrooms & bathrooms close to trains, shops etc. & washing machine - Great location. Easy access to trains.
- Lois (10/5): A great apartment in every way. - We liked everything about the apartment and the facilities there. Very comfortable and well presented with everything you could wish to make your stay worry free. Earls Court Station and buses around the corner. A big supermarket only a very short walk away. Host was easily contactable if there was any problem. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
- Grass (6/5): Pleasant - The location of this flat is easily the best part of staying there! There is a train that takes you directly from the airport to this location. It takes about 40min on the train to get to downtown but it is close to both Kensington and Notting Hill area. The check in experience was really strange- when we booked we requested an early check in time of 1PM and it was approved. I even messaged the owner ahead of time to confirm; when we got there around 2PM there was two cleaners still there as well as broken glass outside of the apartment. We had to move all of our stuff and wait in the back room while they finished. When they were done, they still had extra laundry that they asked us to dry and put away. For the cost of this apartment I do not think this is a pleasant experience especially when the early check in was confirmed and even offered by the host. This unit is also on the basement level so it was a little unsafe feeling at night.
- Aaron (8/5): Very good - Really good location and friendly enough host. The apartment is fine. Couple of notes: (1) its a basement flat so do expect some noise from the upstairs and (2) there isn't much wifi signal in the ensuite bedroom.
- Michael (9/5): Would definitely stay again. - Great flat. Very clean and well kept. Close to the Earls court Station and easy to get to and from. Owner / Host was responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. The bathrooms are a bit small. The one for the second bedroom is an ensuite, however if you want to shower it is difficult to keep the water from splashing all over because there is only a small piece of shower glass at the end of the tub. Other than that our stay was great. Very clean and well kept.
- Judith (10/5): Exceptional - The Earl's Court apartment was a great apartment. The location was essentially across the street from the Earl's Court Underground which made getting to the tourist areas extremely easy. The apartment was very comfortable and a welcome respite after a day of being on the go. It has everything that you will need for your stay with great grocery and restaurant options nearby. The bedrooms were nice sizes and there was a private patio that you could sit outside and have a quiet drink on. Great value of the money.
- Tracy (9/5): Superb - Great location. Very close to a Picadilly line tub station. Nicely furnished.
- Anja (6/5): We enjoyed the convenience of being close to Earl‘s court - Location and being able to sit outside in the courtyard.
The beds were comfortable to have a good night‘s sleep. The apartment is advertised as „bright“ and being ground floor. The apartment is in the basement and only accessible via steep stairs and it is the opposite of bright. It is dark and damp and not very pleasant to spend time in. There are also too many belongings/knickknacks of the owners around. It makes the place feel very cramped and uncomfortable. The fridge had someone else’s old food and medicine in it. It should be clean and empty.
- Lucina (9/5): Superb - The location was great, and the flat was comfortable. Plenty of room for our party of three. It was wonderful to have a larger TV that I could cast to from my tablet. The location of the lockbox for the key. As an older person, it is difficult to bend down and see the code to open. Given that it was pouring rain when I arrived, it took me a very frustrating 5 minutes to get the lockbox open as the rain only made the silver numbers of the code harder to see.
The TV was obviously new, so it wasn't set up yet, which made it difficult to use.
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): Great flat in nice, convenient neighborhood - Comfortable, clean apartment with courteous and responsive host. We had some specific questions which were answered promptly and thoroughly. Well-furnished and well laid-out. We rent out a property as well and notice little details. Everything was well thought out. The flat is in a great neighborhood (quiet street) with grocery and dining options nearby. The tube stop is convenient and serves two main lines, one of which connects directly with Heathrow, the other connects with many of the main tourist spots in town. We would definitely stay here again on a subsequent trip. Can't think of anything.
- Kathryn (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (9/5): Superb - The property was beautifully presented with everything we needed for our weekend stay. We were provided with all the information we needed for access and to ask any questions.
