• Andrea (6/5): Ok per brevi soggiorni, zona perfetta per muoversi - Ottima posizione per visitare la città, 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione metro Euston e 20 da St. Pancras. Camera spaziosa (la numero 1 al primo piano) con due letti matrimoniali abbastanza confortevoli. Presente anche una cucina attrezzata che non abbiamo usato (il frigo risultava un pò sporco). Bagno in comune (uno con wc e uno con doccia) fra tre stanze, tendenzialmente pulito. Da rivedere un pò l'arredamento in generale. Tutto sommato una esperienza positiva considerando anche i prezzi elevatissimi di Londra. Nessun tipo di isolamento acustico tra i piani e le stanze. Qualche spiffero entrava dai vetri che danno direttamente sulle strada principale, anche qui poco isolamento.

• Wim (1/5): avoid at all costs, they are scammers - terrible if they weren't scammers, it would've probably have been a decent location. at 4am in the morning on the day of travelling we received info they closed this location down and offered another location ca 4 miles away. During my travelling they kept reaching out, but when I finally arrived we shouldn't call them, only write them. When we got in touch, the "host/scammer" was barely understandable. The nearby Publove (great staff, great people, go there instead) tried to help us and told us that many people who booked this venue passed by them to ask for help and there are always problems.

Ci ha messo in una stanza 1C (evitatela) nel sotterraneo con una finestra vista ZERO, con luce verde per uscita di emergenza nella camera e la notte facevamo fatica a dormire per poi l'uscita di emergenza CHIUSA A CHIAVE, quindi non c'era possibilità di fuga. Inoltre questa stanza non è nelle foto perché penso che sia molto squallida. Il bagno accanto a questa stanza e a qualsiasi ora senti scendere persone che a volte poche educate sembrano cavalli e ci hanno svegliato più volte, la cucina sempre vicino a questa stanza e quindi anche da lì le sentivi in camera. Ho mandato messaggi e chiamato il Sig. Hans che mi ha risposto dopo un giorno per darmi la password della wi-fi, che solitamente la lasciano in camera. Per dormire ho dovuto mettere l'asse da stiro sotto il materasso, altrimenti sembrava di sprofondare nell'abisso. Assolutamente errato il modo di dare un appartamento, e non avere cura del CLIENTE, questo fa cattiva pubblicità sia al Sig. Hans che a BOOKING.
• Hannah (1/5): - The advert on here is good but the experience we actually had was horrendous 😕!! Complete scammers and they should be removed from Booking.com Had no information at all on how to check in, after multiple calls, emails and messages that never got responded to, I tried WhatsApping the number, however were told that the booking was actually not confirmed at all and that the landlord preferred to book out the whole house and not per room. Why list it as per room then? And why confirm the booking if it actually isn't?? Due to this they offered another location but I said it was not in the location we needed so we just wanted a refund so I could book something else. After booking another place due to the need of a safe place to stay for the night, we then get a message at 2pm the day of that our room was ready but this time by a completely different number. Not the original business number that we contacted previously and given by booking.com After explaining and sending screenshots of the whole conversation, that they told us our booking was no longer confirmed, we were told by this other number that the room was actually ready and we would not be getting any refund. I also advised that if this was the case why where we offered another location, to which they laughed and told us we could go their instead if we wanted. This was clearly set up from the start and I wish I had looked at reviews before booking as it seems they have done this many times to people. They are scammers and should be removed! Never got a refund !

Communal areas were dirty and shabby in places. A hair and a stain on a sheet. A corner of a wrapper left on the floor. No instructions of where to find the kitchen or bathroom. No coffee or milk included with kettle or any cups!

• Philip (5/5): Very cheap and in a great location... but feels cheap and shower was cold - The toilet room door couldn't be closed because of a cable leading to a washing machine in there. The shower was cold, but fortunately I found another on the floor above which worked okay, and I seemed to be the only one staying there. There were stains on the bed and the room was damp. But it was cheap, and was what I needed. But I definitely panicked when I couldn't get the shower to heat up! Fix the first floor shower and it'd be acceptable for a cheap well located stay

• Abbe (3/5): Would not recommend! - Didn’t like a lot to be honest, the location was fine for what we needed which is why we booked it. The worst thing about this whole place was the communication with the property. I tried contacting them multiple times and multiple ways over the space of 3 weeks and was getting no response to the point of contacting Booking.com the day before my booking to ensure my booking was still ok and going ahead and what I could do if no contact from property when we arrived. All I wanted was confirmation that getting in after 10pm would be ok. We were travelling with young children from Bristol to London and I wanted reassurance but was consistently ignored! The bathroom was shared between multiple rooms and this wasn’t clear. The bathroom was dirty, dusty, things left lying around. The beds were basic which was fine but would hell if they were actually clean. Found multiple hairs in two different beds. Rooms we had were cold and very cramped. The handrail at the very top of the stairs (where you need it most!) was completely detached from the wall and when I went to use it, it moved down by a couple of inches as the next section that should have been secured wasn’t either. Really not safe and was exposing screws too. We had young children with us as well. In case it isn’t clear to anyone else, as it wasn’t to me, this is multiple rooms (and I’m talking at least 8) with individual door codes which are all off of one flight of stairs on multiple levels. Clearly trying to make as much money as possible with everything crammed in and poor standards. I didn’t take pictures as didn’t think of it at the time. We arrived at 11pm and left by 5am the following morning so was tired but thinking back, the standards were poor! I’m sure there were more issues than I’ve listed here but honestly wasn’t there long enough to notice or remember clearly so I’ve put what I do remember.

Owner us great with answering any questions you might have All the rooms and close together so you WILL hear your neighbour! (Typical in London) and room size is kinda small also the laundry machine is in one of the toilets so can be hard to close the bathroom is the cleaners are running a load as the power cord runs from inside to outside the door

• Tanja (4/5): If you look for cheap accommodation and cleanliness doesn’t matter to you - go for it. - The only positive thing about the housing was the location nearby various shops and coffes as well as the tube station. And the price. Everything was very dirty, hair clumps everywhere, it was not possible to provide enough towels, and the ones that were there were dirty. This seems to be a general problem, reading other reviews...not sure what is so difficutl to provide the basics to which I would count clean towels. he description mentions a kitchen, but it’s not available to everyone; it’s in a room that can also be rented. From the pictures, you can kind of guess that… so be careful. Wifi was not working. Furthermore, communication with the landlord is very difficult… either no response at all or only after a long delay. I sent several messages via Booking and WhatsApp regarding the check-in details—no reaction… the last one send was answered almost 48 hours later with “we will inform you.” When? We did not know. They also didn’t answer calls. In the end, we were already at the airport when, after calling again, we finally received the details, which then worked perfectly on-site. So, some own initiative might be necessary here…

And the biggest advantage of this place is definitely the price. Unfortunately, the accommodation left us quite disappointed. The rooms are very damp, with a noticeable humidity smell. The bathroom door is damaged from moisture, the radiator has started to rust, and overall the place needs proper renovation and updates. Another major issue was that it was impossible to contact the host — they did not reply to any of our messages, which made us feel unsafe throughout the stay, as we realised that if anything happened, we would receive no help. Additionally, the neighbours on the upper floor were extremely loud and shouting late in the evening, making it hard to sleep. The walls are very thin, and it often felt as if someone might walk straight into our room.

• dlcglobal (7/5): Clean, cheap and cheerful accommodation with plenty of restaurants nearby. - The apartment is situated in the heart of Euston only 10 minutes' walk from the station. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and local shops nearby so it's an ideal basic place to stay for a London visit. The accommodation is exactly as advertised - a cheap and basic but clean room in central London. The rooms are small - we booked a family room just for the 2 of us which was fine but it would be quite a squeeze with 4 people, even if 2 were children. However, it's perfect accommodation for somewhere to sleep and then go out during the day to explore the city or as a stopover before travelling on. The bed was comfortable and clean and the shared toilet and bathroom were also clean; the water was nice and hot in the shower. There was very little toilet paper when we arrived but I messaged the owners and fresh supplies arrived a few hours later. In the room, there is a small fridge but it was off when we arrived so we had to switch it on and wait an hour or so before it had cooled down. There is no lift in the building so the property is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Also, the handrail at the top of the stairs is coming away from the wall - please can the owners have this fixed. There was a kettle in the room but no coffee or tea was provided - this would be a nice touch to add so visitors can have a hot drink when they arrive.

• Bradley (1/5): SCAM - COMPLETE SCAM OF A PROPERTY We have never had an experience like this but from other reviews on here you’ll see that you can expect it from this property. We received no check in information when arriving to the Accomodation and it was past the check in time. We tried to contact the owner for over an hour but had no response. Eventually his response was a fake message stating there had been a ‘gas leak’ which obviously wasn’t true because other guests were coming in and out of their rooms. The owner wouldn’t cancel as he was trying to scam us because there was no free cancellation so the cost of cancelling would fall on us. He sent us a fake code to the door which didn’t work. If you stay here there’s a chance you might experience this so if it does make sure you contact booking.com and then expect to wait 45 minutes whilst they try to get a response. Booking.com relocation service wasn’t the best for us in this scenario but they do offer this. Another review also mentions they had the exact same experience.

I got information from an unknown number and not from booking.com So I asked them to cancel my booking because If i cancel it it will cost me and i may lose my booking amount. No one responded to my calls , and no one replied me to my messages. Initially i felt , it's a scam to put low price room,take our money and cancel at last minute so you cant get your money back. Please be aware, always get written confirmation from official email and phone number only.

• Boglarka (2/5): Doesnt worth your money, go somewhere else where theres no mold and dirt! - Not much, only positive thing about the property was how close it was to public transport The walls, the window were MOLDY!! The handles of the desk were broken and the heater in the bathroom was really rusty. The room wasnt completely clean, I found trash, and water was prevously leaking through the ceiling which was patched very bad. This was the cheapest room available but that doesnt mean that they can give you mold. The passcode to my room was the same as it was to the whole building and I was terrified both nights someone would come into my room. There were also stains on the sheets. I can send pictures.

• Terri (1/5): Do not be fooled by the pictures! - I arrived at this property and found it to be in an unsafe , unsanitary condition for myself and my family to stay in. I tried to speak to the lady that I believe was the cleaning lady to be told " no speak English " I then proceeded to contact the owner to no avail. There was cigarette burns in the very worn bed throws , dirty stains on the bed sheets that had clearly not been changed , mould behind the beds and on the walls , there was food stains on the walls. Big holes in the ceilings and bare wires , panels missing from the kitchen cupboards, cracks in both the ceilings and walls. Where the shared bathroom was there was both mould and hair everywhere that had supposedly been cleaned ( it was wet in there and smelt of stagnant water ). When we entered the hallway to get into the property my special needs children grabbed the railing to walk up the very steep stairway and the railing came away from the wall. The rooms are at the top of the stairs . The railing is hanging on literally by one remaining screw. When that screw comes out I dread to think what will happen. When you enter your pin in the door it does not work . We only gained entry because somebody let us in. I contacted customer services at booking .com and I discussed the issues aforementioned. They agreed it was not advisable to stay. We had no option given the lack of communication from the owner to rebook elsewhere and pay a further £85 for another hotel. Nearly ruining our stay in London and missing our event for Teenage cancer trust. The owner refused to refund the £99.75 he took a month before and claimed i was trying to scam him. ! I luckily was clever enough to take pictures , keep receipts for the payment with the alternative hotel and I have reclaimed my money from my bank. In future be careful who you book with. Not all is what it seems. Pictures on booking can be really misleading ...read the reviews. Lesson learnt !

The communication was so bad. I struggled to get my check in done because no one answered me through booking.com, I had to call the property, and they spoke bad english. It took over 30minutes for them to send me the check in information, so we stood outside for 45mins. The place was nice but dirty and moldy. The wifi was the only good thing. There was no enough toilet paper, and we had to share the bathroom with other guests. The other guests smoke inside and the smell was horrible. The showering room was nice. I would've liked the stay if the communication was better with the property, and if it wasn't so moldy.

• Summer (2/5): Do not book this place unless you want to breathe in mould, constantly smell damp, smell other peoples poo and want to h - The beds were comfortable Mould everywhere. People would come in and poo in the only toilet and leave the door open. Our booking was incorrect and was not fixed. The smell. The staff took our clothes out of the tumble dryer and left it so she could tumble dry already dry sheets.
• Farrell (10/5): Easy and pleasant - Host was understanding and the room was fantastic. Clean, spacious and a great location - only a 10-15 minute walk to Euston station and not far to walk to Camden market.

• Karine (9/5): Superb - Excellent value for money. The shared bathroom can be a pain some time but the room was spacious and comfortable. It can be noisy depending on the noise from the street and neighbours but it went fine for us (Wednesday through Saturday)
• Michael (4/5): Disappointing - Great check-in experience and service, property in a good location and well equipped. Unfortunately the room suffered with damp which had not been addressed by the cleaners, for this reason I am using alternative accommodation next time I stay in the area. Hopefully the property can rectify this as it is otherwise a perfectly decent place to stay.
