Guest Reviews
- Jaid (5/5): I wouldn’t stay again due to the limited space of the room, and lack of cleanliness - The room was well decorated and utensils, and facilities were good. First off the door and only outside access for fresh air and emergency escape was locked which was a safety hazard and made the room stuffy and feel even more confined as it was. The host did offer to send a member of staff round to open the door however by that point I was leaving.
There was also a £35 damage charge added on top of the total cost but this wasn’t stated in the first instance.
The room was incredibly small, it’s a four story house which has been completely condensed in the name of profit, it’s quite sad to see but so common these days.
The bed and cover was covered in hairs, with bubbled fabric on as if they were old bed sheets. The hanging lamps are pretty and decorative but a safety hazard for people who need to get up in the morning as it hangs incredibly low.
- Heather (7/5): lovely apartment overall for a short stay, with good access from train stations - good equipment and technology such as a smart radiator photos make it look bigger
- Alvar (3/5): - Es mucho más pequeño de lo que dice en el anuncio. No hay 41 metros cuadrados.
Tampoco es nada luminoso, y en las fotos sí lo parecía.
- Ilona (10/5): - Very nice modern and warm apartment. Little but cute.
- Katrina (7/5): Place was decent - Place was small but decent, internet worked great for working remote. They most essentials. The shared common kitchen is not a fully equipped kitchen. It is a common space and tenants are encouraged to clean up after themselves but not once did staff change out the trash or clean up in the space from what I could tell. In the personal flat, it was most clean but could use a good dusting.

- Michael (10/5): Effortless - Small and compact. Easy to get to, and perfect for a short stay. Everything was good.
- Michael (1/5): Absolute con. Stay elsewhere. - There's a nice Premier Inn down the road where the rooms are literally 4 times the size of this box room, which is where I decided to stay instead. 'Shoebox' is too generous - there is literally no room to move down either side of the bed, which has been positioned to block out nearly all light from the window.
Hidden fees / deposit requirement not clearly declared upfront. In spite of this, the property is in poor state of repair with numerous scuffs to paintwork and woodwork.
The property hadn't been properly cleaned in some time - there was a thick layer of dust on top of the low-level lamps either side of the bed.
There's no kitchen, despite being advertised as so. What there is, is a toaster, which you can't use as there's nowhere to put down the plate of coffee/tea sachets that covers it. Not that you'd want to, as there's no ventilation.
The owner is completely unresponsive to complaints - they just want your money and don't care how they get it.
- Mohammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (9/5): Place was in a great location and was absolutely spotless on arrival. -
- Cedrick (8/5): Overall really nice and good price, we are happy with the stay and would choose the same again - Good location with bus stop with great lines direct to London right in front of the apartment and walkable distance to Overground station (also reachable by the same bus that stops in front of the apartment). Easy access, clean, good bed and nice tv. WiFi works perfectly. The shower is not the best, I’m not aware if it’s common in the UK but it was some sort of electrical shower that gave me and my partner a small electrical chock more than once. Also attention that the kitchen in the pictures are not inside the apartment, inside is a fridge, sink, toaster and kettle and all appliances needed to use the kitchen (located probably in a common area. We didn’t ask for the instructions once we were eating out all meals)
- Kelise (7/5): It was a cute place - Cute place for one I could hear the people’s tv above so clearly.
Also I’m not sure if they have a leak above but throughout the night towards the end of my stay there was just a constant dripping noise which woke up me up and I then couldn’t get back to sleep because it was constant
- Ben (1/5): Poor experience, don’t bother - Incredibly poor experience. When I arrived, the electronic lock on my door was out of batteries. I had to wait an hour and 40 minutes for it to be fixed by a repair man. The host refused to give me any compensation for this, even though I couldn’t access the room I had paid for. I would not bother staying here. Unreliable host.
- Dominika (6/5): Pleasant - A big comfortable bed and a nice location. There are a lot of shops near this apartament and the bus stop is like a 1 min walk from the doors. The room is very small and the clothing clothing rack was broken down so we had no idea where to put our clothes. The kitchen is on a different level and the room is basically just a bed and a really small bathroom
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Eliza (10/5): Exceptional - What a great stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and close to everything. The host was super kind. Highly recommend!
- Nesha (9/5): Lovely room, good location - Good location between Hackney Central and Dalston Junction. Walking distance from both. Just next to a bus stop is another plus. Comfy bed, nice cosy little room, great for a short stay. No toilet brush, or the one that was there was broken, couldn’t use it
- Tom (7/5): Good - The damage waiver after paying is super cheeky. Just include it in the price of stay. Making you pay extra afterwards is just scammy.
- Sara (7/5): Value for money - We thought it was a 1 bedroomed apartment with stove & oven. We had no stove or oven. We did have a sink, kettle & toaster. The room was much smaller than the pictures make you believe it is. However, it was very clean & nicely decorated.
- Nuno (7/5): Good -
- Ben (8/5): Compact but good for a base. The host has tried to cater for everything. Value for money. - Comfortable bed, en-suite, everything was thought about and provided by the host. Nicely decorated with plug points in useful places Some marks on wall and bed. Very small and compact without any room to store anything. Hanging rail was broken too, so no place to actually hang clothes.
- Khaled (10/5): I stayed for two nights. The place was nice and clean. There was no difficulty in getting inside the - The place is very clean and quiet Nothing to mention
