Guest Reviews

- John and Rachel (9/5): We had a great stay here as a family of four. Despite the fact it rained for our entire stay we had so much space inside - Great location, amazing views and lots of space
- nardia (7/5): -
- Rafael (7/5): Good -
- Christine (9/5): Second year in a row we have stayed at Pixies. Just love the calming feel of this place. - Loved how quiet the property was, especially at night.
Loved the quirkiness, so much heart gone into the construction of this property. Large stain on carpet upstairs, corner cupboard broken.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberley (10/5): Exceptional - The house was absolutely beautiful
Everywhere you look is pure art
Every need is met with the bedrooms kitchen laundry and information If I had to say something the driveway is a bit crazy 𤣠not sure my tiny car would have made it but luckily we were in a 4wheel drive
- Kai (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (9/5): We had a lovely stay, Jayde was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The house has a lovely f. - Full of character, unique, comfortable and warm feel!
- Michelle (10/5): Stunning views, ideal location and a large comfortable space to relax and unwind. Highly recommend! - Fabulous and quiet location, comfortable large space! It would be lovely if the property was fenced to be a little more dog friendly âşď¸
- Ghazali (10/5): Fantastic.. highly recommended - Location, facilities
- Carole (7/5): Good - The views are just lovely the upstairs lounge and bedrooms are great although we could have used a blanket. The house is very eclectic and charming. In good weather it would be lovely to eat outside. We chose this house as it had two bathrooms. The ground floor bathroom does not have a towel rail no shelf in the shower no heating and no door. The hall door closes off the downstairs bedroom and bathroom.. We had thought to use this downstairs bedroom but it is only really suited to one adult or children as walking around the bed it limited. It would have been helpful to know we needed to supply our own firewood.
- Kylie (10/5): What a beautiful property. We had planned to do many outdoorsy adventures but once we arrived we didnât want to leave. W - So much character. This house is full of wonder, the creativity and craftsmanship is inspiring. To compliment this beautiful home we recommend some sort of photo/coffee table book capturing the build and telling the story behind the build and the artefacts that have been incorporated into the design. We loved it all!!
Just some ice cube trays would be nice.
- Andres (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yadvendra (8/5): Nestled in the bush with stunning ocean views. - The views from both the living rooms were absolutely stunning. The owners have made serious efforts to make the dwelling ecologically friendly in a ship theme. The backyard is a lovely open space and the fire pit in the backyard was quite tempting. The place is run down and in need of some maintenance and upkeep. There were no fans in the bedrooms upstairs and even with the landing fan and AC on,the rooms got stuffy at night. The drive from main road to property is tricky and an average sedan might struggle on those roads. The bathroom downstairs appears to be a laundry converted to a bathroom and did not have any door (one could lock the door leading to the bathroom and store but still). The stovetop is in need of servicing as you canât control the heat.
- Russell (10/5): Exceptional - Loved that it was just so different to anything we have ever stayed in before.
- Margaret (8/5): Very good - We were only at Pixie's for one night and arrived late in the afternoon, so we did not have a chance to explore and enjoy all that the property had to offer. It is a very unique place to stay and would be appreciated by those who love eco-building! It wasn't really clear if the water was suitable for drinking and the water filter wasn't functioning properly
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leah (9/5): A special and fantastic stay from which to explore the 12 Apostles park. - EVERYTHING! Thank you! Hot water upstairs.
- Aleyna (9/5): Cosy family holiday away - Love the views and the firepit, hosts were lovely. We had some neighbourhood dogs visit us, they were so charming! I love the aesthetic of the house and the coffee machine. Great place to stay. The bed linen and rooms were clean. So cosy!! Fireplace, and watching the sunset from the balcony was a highlight. The street is very steep, warning would have been nice. And two huntsmanâs and many other spiders visited us. But thatâs just the lovely part of nature. Also the downstairs bathroom is very clearly visible to anyone who wanders into the veggie patch, a curtain would have been appreciated.
- Hayley-rose (9/5): Quirky place with loads to do and lots of space to feel at home. - The place it was so nice to have the feel of a boat. Light was a bit dull.
