Guest Reviews

- Krzysztof (9/5): Udany pobyt - Dobra lokalizacja, wygodny i przestrzenny obiekt.

- Mikhail (8/5): Very good - Quite spacious, has all cooking utensils. The Lodi station is right in front of the house, so it's very convenient to reach the city centre by metro (keep in mind, last train is at 9 pm). There are multiple restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops.
Two separate bathrooms and bedrooms are definitely a positive attribute. It was overall clean, and had enough beddings, towels, and soap for everyone. The biggest issue we have encountered is that at some point, the owner/owner's son came inside the apartment without previously notifying us.
Prepare for the walls to be thin. You will hear everyone entering the complex, all nosies from the street and from the pub in the basement.
As people mentioned, the beds are squeaky, and the door could be hard to open for someone who hasn't encountered the old doors.
We didn't really care about it, but the TV is barely working, showing at best 5 channels. It was even merely impossible to open YouTube or Netflix. WiFi connection was also not the strongest.
- Tyler (8/5): Lovely apartment and would recommend it to anyone going to Rome. - The apartment was very clean and spacious. The key/lock were very difficult, and we had to ask a neighbor to help us unlock it. Thankfully we speak Italian, so that was no problem, but I would imagine that would be difficult to do for a non-Italian speaker.
- Beatrice (9/5): Very good, warm and clean! Very well located! Please read the details I have provided. - The property is very clean and very well located. In front of the building, there is the Lodi metro station (Metro Line C, the green line), but it only operates during the day and closes around 9:00 PM.
Additionally, the apartment is a 10-minute walk from the San Giovanni metro station (Metro Line A, the orange line). However, if you don’t want to walk, as you exit this metro station, you can take bus 81 for two stops, which drops you off right in front of the building.
By metro, it takes 15 minutes to reach Termini station and 20 minutes to get to the Colosseum.
The apartment is spacious, featuring a large bedroom (the blue one) and a smaller bedroom with its own private bathroom, plus an additional separate bathroom. The sofa is not extendable and is quite small, but it is comfortable. The apartment was warm inside.
Near the apartment, there are two small shops, a supermarket, a pharmacy and a bar where you can have your coffee.
The apartment is located on the ground floor of the building, but this was not an issue since the windows have shutters and are covered.
We were a group of four people and stayed for four nights. There were no issues with check-in or check-out.
As soon as you book on Booking.com, you will receive a link to pay the city tax—don’t worry, it’s not spam, it’s a legitimate tax. The fee is €6 per person per night. On the first night, we had a small inconvenience with the heating and hot water, as they were not working. The hot water comes from a boiler and we had to insist quite a bit to be told how to turn it on, but it was quickly resolved the next day and we had hot water.
The heating from the radiators does not come from the boiler but from the city’s main network and it shuts off during the night. However, this is not an issue because both bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning units that you can use.
House slippers are necessary, as the bedrooms have tiled floors. There is no full-length mirror, only the ones in the bathrooms.
If you have any issues with heating or hot water, make sure to insist, as they can be resolved.
- Oleksak (8/5): Very good - Nice and clean apartment, close to a metro, coffees shops etc. Walking distance to Colosseum. Friendly people in the building. Overall nice location. Good Wi-Fi and internet conection. No coffee machine in apartment, it would be nice to have an option for a coffee from pods or something similar. But there was a few coffee places around the corner, with really nice coffee and pastry so no disaster here.
- Wai (9/5): Superb - accessible by bus and metro. a good 30 min walk to the nearby historic scenary.
supermarket is 7 min walk with good selection of what you would need as a tourist. toaster and coffee machine would be nice for breakfast. Add a dryer for clothes would be ideal.
- Zeev (9/5): Great apartment - Spacious apartment, always hot water and good shower, near the metro and main bus lines. Attentive owner. Good Kitchen. Stayed there 9 days. The location is near the green metro line (lodi) and not San Giovanni. It is another metro change each time or ~300m walk to the San Giovanni station.
- Cret (7/5): It was a good stay, the location is great, the apartment is quite spacious and you have everything you need. I would say - The location of the apartment is very good, the metro station is very close and it is easy to go basically everywhere. Also, the apartment itself is nice, big and it has everything you need. We had some trouble regarding hot water. The water heater did not work and we did not have warm water for about a day and a half. The person responsible for the property was nice and tried to help but the communication process was quite difficult, we had to wait a long time for them to answer and sometimes they would not answer at all.
- Galina (8/5): Very good -
- Paolo (5/5): First and last time - The location is perfect. Very well served by public transportation. Lots of stores and restaurants and a daily farmer's market. The apartment could be very nice, it s large, but it's badly maintained and managed. The bed in one room was making creaking noises. In the kitchen there were only two pots.
There were lots of glasses, and plastic cups, lots of cups mismatched that were placed disorderly around the kitchen making it look like nobody cares. It was very messy.
- Thys (8/5): Sort out the beds and this is a fantastic apartment to stay in - Access was an issue as we were sent the wrong detail. Location fantastic.... aparment great.... aminities / stuff in the apartment more than you will need ... shops amenities around the location fantastic... beds a problem. They look new but small, if you move they make hell.of noice so you wake your partner... the reat will recommend to anybody anytime The beds
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional - An amazing and spacious apartment very close to the city center. The Metro station is outside the door yet it is very quiet. Wonderful!
- Patrick (8/5): very good location to travel to rome without being right in the centre of it all. - ideal for the metro and corner shops. nothing
